Absolutely terrible. I was a valued customer when Brian was the manager last year. Recently, however, I have been very dissatisfied with my services here at Campus Shell. Vic, who I just found out today is no longer in charge, screwed me over big time after charging me for services that he did not complete. After asking for my refund(over a month ago) I have yet to get any answers about where my money is. I feel so taken advantage of. Not only are they taking advantage of me being a female, but also the fact that I’m a college student with limited funds. So disappointed. I will NEVER be coming back.

Great service station. They have an island attendent during the garage hours, so if u need help with anything they’re happy to help. I do not trust anyone else with my car for repairs. The service writer provides all the information and recommendations I need to make a good informed decision. What makes me come back everytime is the high energy of all the staff and the effort they put in to get me back on the road again.

o – go see the bad reviews for shell oil station – this place is double listed. my bad experience: didn’t alert me that my car would fail smog check because on board display light was on – did not abort test. charged me full amount, no free retest. not happy. terrible customer service. UPDATE. gm called me and offered me refund. says its now legal and considerate and encouraged to let customer know about on board engine lights leading to inevitable failure. Pablo is the GM. nice guy. professional. I appreciated his involvement. gave him and only him a star extra for that.

Great location! Terribly miss Greg and hope he is back soon, but the new Service Manager Chuck is fair and honest, and the perfect guy to fill those big shoes.

I recently went in for a handful of work done on my subaru. I primarily keep coming back here for a few reasons: –they are very eager to help with a good attitude –great location if you live in east sac –they work on your car immediately if you make an appointment(unlike when I take it to my subaru dealership) –they tell you in detail what they are doing or recommend and why and they do so without being an alarmist I also have taken my brother’s Toyota truck in here for work and they did a great job. If I knew how to change my own brakes and oil, I’d do it, but since I don’t I’ll continue going here for their quality customer service. Plus the mechanics are always quite friendly and easy-going.

Location, location, bad, bad. Priced too high and seemingly always closed, at least not open 24⁄7 like the others just down the street.

Though it’s not quite as solid as when Joe ran it, this shop is still the place I go when I need car repairs. Why? The problem actually has been fixed every time. Go figure. Prices are middle of the pack, but I know when I get it back it will be done right.

I used to love this gas station. When I was in college, my friend pumped gas and did oil changes there. The owner, a guy named John, was the old-fashioned kind of service station owner. Little adjustments — no charge. Repairs were always preceded by a discussion of what caused the problem and the cheapest way to fix it. So, when my check engine light went on awhile back, I went here. I could bore you with a long story, but know this: Fix my leaking tire with a cheap plug: $ 25. Elsewhere: $ 7 – 10. These guys also tried to charge me $ 425 for a sensor which I discovered later is less than $ 100 list price from the Toyota DEALER, the highest-priced place to get parts. They also tried to charge me more than 3x the labor of the Pep boys, supposedly the big bad corporate competition. This is now a clip joint where you need to hang on to your wallet.
