This place in the hood is HORRIBLE!!! The food is old and tasteless… better off going to Mc Donalds. All I know is I purchased a hamburger and fries and a corn dog took a bite out of each and threw it out. The one item that was good was the Coke!!! They were not able to mess that up… lol

It’s definitely a hood classic lol All the signs on the windows CRACKMEUP. No inside to the restaurant. It is a drive in(if the name didn’t dictate that) so you park, you order, you pay with cash(no bills larger than a $ 20) and either you wait in your car or on the little tables along the side of the building. They call your name over the speaker. There is always an interesting but broad clientele. I grew up off of Bell Ave and am planning a trip today. I loved going here as a little kid. I have memories with my dad and brother from this place. You can even call in your order and just pick it up. I usually get the jumbo cheeseburger with no tomato(I don’t feel it fits with this burger lol) fries and a butterscotch shake whenever I go which is about 3 times a year, being that I don’t live in the area anymore. They serve your fries in the same little bags they used to I’m only on here, writing a review because I’m hungry and I am probably going to go after work or on lunch lolol

Went here Friday and tried the jumbo chili cheese burger. It is not jumbo but it is a good burger. I wasn’t expecting beans in the chili though. That is a Nor-Cal thing though… like steamed hot dogs… but I digress. Also got a butterscotch shake and a Pepsi. The Pepsi was heavy on syrup, low on carbonation. But the shake was YUM! Don’t let your kid have a taste because it will return to you Empty! Make sure to bring cash and pay attention to their true hours(not the ones on the signage beneath their name) the ones that are posted on the windows.

I always drop by this joint when I’m in the area for a meeting. I have tried almost everything on their menu. My favorite items to get here are the ranch burger with cheese, jumbo cheese burger, chicken basket, and the hot wings basket. Their french fries are perfectly seasoned and not overwhelmed with salt. Their fresh banana shakes are heavenly, but instead of getting it mixed with vanilla ice cream, I get chocolate. I highly recommend the chocolate fresh banana shake! The service is fast and friendly. It’s a great place to stop by for a simple lunch!

I have been eating at Connie’s since 1983. If you want Diet food. This is not your place. If you want good a old fashioned Greasy tasty burger, fries and a shake. This is where I keep coming back to. even after 31 years.

Delicious!!! I saw this little hole in the wall building right next to a tire shop, and I had to stop by and check it out. I have never been here before and I’m glad I did stop by. They have a big variety of food and deserts and shakes. Got to love this place.

Ive been coming here for about 18 years.(Back when they were open later, open on sundays, and had real ketchup;back when the original owner operated it).Everything here is pretty good(and of course greasy). Above all ill have to say they have ‘slushy ice,’ the best fries and milkshakes here.(fresh fruit and ‘flavored’ kind. prolly any flavor you can think of, really). I think they have raised their prices over the years, some of their quality/quanity has gone down hill a little, but still good. The staff is very quick, efficient & friendly. Your food will be cooked very quickly. I recommend you call ahead your order for faster service. and it is a cash only business.

It may look a tad run down and may or may not be in a slightly questionable area… However, don’t let that fool you. If you want a real burger off a real grill with some real tasty crinkle fries, head to Connie’s! I remember coming home from long trips and pulling off at 90 and Marconi to grab some burgers, fries and shakes from Connie’s. Over they years they haven’t changed. This won’t be a fancy Kobe beef patty with aioli and a toasted house made potato bun, but it will be just as a cheeseburger from a drive in joint should. Worth checking out when you’re in the hood ;)

Well first let me say that I was told to go here on a super scorcher of a day. I got an Orange 50⁄50 which is half ice cream and slush. It really made my day. I even took my daughter after school one day. It’s out of the way and all but. trying to see what sac has to offer in the way of mom and pop shops. They do sell greasy spoon type of food. Not in my opinion the best but I only sampled Drink. It was tasty for what I recommend to try. Seedy looking area though.

I went there today. First time ever being there and it’s close to home which is a plus. Plus the people that I work with have been there and told me about it when I asked, they like their ranch burger and their hot links. I tried the ranch burger. It is served on a hoagie roll with 2 burgers, thousand island, lettuce and onions. I had them add cheese, tomato and pickles. I also had their fries which are thick and crinkle cut. They were good. I would go back. Gonna try their hot link sometime.

Ok, it’s a hole in the wall, Greasy Spoon in the Hood, just off the Freeway. But, the French Fries are Crispy & Crunchy!!! My Sister, my Brother and my Mother love the Ranch Burger. I love the Double Pastrami Burger with Cheese!!! You have to try it!!!
