I found this little gem during the weekend when I was looking for a place to live. The managers are an elderly couple who are, by far, the sweetest, most caring individuals I have met. We were shown the apartment and asked to contact us before the beginning of the next school year if there were any apartments left unrented. Like clockwork, they called and we were able to lease it for the year. It is a month to month, but if you sign a nine month lease you get the first month half off — which was awesome. I moved in and everything was great. There was a bit of a problem with everything being painted over but that was really no big deal. You just had to open the cabinets with a little force once. If there was anything that needed to be fixed, the managers were right there. My pilot light in my heater(yes a gas heater) went out and my manager quickly got it fixed without a question asked. It is a relatively quiet place to live. I lived on the bottom floor so I could hear people walking above me but you tune that out after awhile. What one needs to be aware of is that this place is located right next to the train track. Like right next to it. It really wasn’t a big deal to me because I would forget about it after a few minutes. Also, while it has a gated parking lot, you have to be careful. My car was broken into(hope you liked my broken flash drive and pen! Who breaks into a car to steal a pen?! A PEN! One that didn’t even write well.) but the managers put up a sign that warned the tenants of what was going on. I really liked being updated on what happened. There are new windows in every apartment(thanks in part of my mother who didn’t like the fact that there were no locks on the windows). The manager talked to the owner and brand new windows were put in. It’s overall a pretty awesome place. There’s a pool and it’s less than a five minute walk to CSUS.
