This place really lives up to its name. The barber here is a no-nonsense kind of guy. He is an expert with the scissors and with the clippers. He knows what he is doing and he will deliver on a good haircut. This place is kind of hidden; it’s located behind a vacant store. I’m not sure if anyone besides Art works here, but you will be happy with your men’s haircut from this place.

Love this place. Whenever i want a stress free haircut, i come here. He does a great job and is very friendly. Haircuts are 15. I recommend him to my mom for her hair and she loved it too. Whats wierd to me is that everytime i go, he doesnt have any other customers. I dont know if it’s because the place is hidden or if people think it doesnt look up to par but i garuntee you a great haircut if you go here. Dude takes his time and really hears you out.

We went in to get our two year old son’s hair professionally cut for the first time. I showed a picture and repeatedly said no length off the top, make it short on the sides. The barber kept cutting the top despite me saying«no more off the top!» I should have just grabbed my son and been done but I wanted him to cut the sides short. He kept trimming around the sides but was leaving too much length, saying that the hair needed to be balanced. No… the hair needs to look like what your client asked for(which was nothing complicated). We left extremely disappointed that he refused to listen, and instead stuck to what he thought looked best. Not okay. We will not be back.

Love having Art trim my hair — he does a great job and is such a sweet guy. Took my not-quite-2 year old in today because the rude gals at Cool Cuts 4 Kids did such a botch job on his hair. Art was awesome: my son hugged him before getting in the chair, had fun picking out a comb and didn’t mind sitting and chatting for 20 minutes while getting his hair cut and clipped. When he was done my son looked perfect! And Art even gave him cookies for being well behaved. Only $ 13 for the cut(I gave him $ 20 he deserves every penny and it’s still less than the ridiculous kid’s salon in Elk Grove). So glad we have a nice neighborhood place to take the baby — I’ll be taking my son to Art every month for his haircuts from now on

Art really knows how to cut hair in general. He’s been cutting hair for a while now and he does a really good job. I’ve been going to him for the past year and he knows how to cut/style people’s hair. Art can cut your hair into any style that you want; which makes it that much better.

I went to see Art after the raving reviews because I literally butchered my son’s hair today 10÷8÷2014. The shop itself is hidden and not easily seen, but again the Bel-Air shopping center on Florin is old and poorly built. So you can’t see it while driving. I have a 3 year old little boy that hates haircuts! He won’t stay still and cries and moves his head a lot if he hears clippers. Art was very nice to him, let him pick out the comb to use and gave him a lollipop before attempting to fix my son’s hair. I still had to sit in the chair with him due to his excessive crying. There wasn’t much to trim or work with because I cut so much of it off, I tried to pay and Art said it was on the house it didn’t take more than 5 minutes or so. As much as I appreciated the gesture I paid him $ 15, it’s $ 13 for a child’s cut. He still took the time to work on my sons hair so he should be paid. My son left with 2 chocolates and Art told him to brush his teeth. I think we found a permanent barber for my son. :)

This is a great place for a good haircut. The owner Art is very friendly and has been cutting hair for a long time. My husband and I took our 4 month old baby in for a haircut. Art was extremely patient and did a great job. No more baby mullet in our family.

If you are the parent of an ornery 3 year-old who absolutely hates getting his hair cut this is the place for you. Art and his assistant are so patient and always smiling. They remember us every time we walk in(probably because my son’s ‘perfect’ behavior is unforgettable…) They make the hair cut interactive with my son and there is always a sweet treat after the deed is done. We never wait long. 10 minutes at the most. Yeah, it doesn’t have the bells and whistles of the trendy kid’s salons popping up around town but the result is still the same. My son walks out looking like a clean-cut little man rather than the ragamuffin I walked in with. Be smart and go see Art!

Cut & Go isn’t my normal haircut shop, but if I’m in a hurry, or need a last minute cut, I don’t hesitate to go see Art. He does a very good and thorough job. It’s $ 15(cash) and there usually isn’t much of a wait. He has at least 1 other stylist there and she does a good job too, but I always prefer Art. He is friendly and once you go a few times, he’ll definitely start to remember who you are. I would normally probably only give this place 4 stars, but today I’m giving it 5 stars because I don’t think that many people will review this place and I want Cut & Go’s rating to be high.
