CVS

so I had my doctor change my pharmacy to this CVS because it’s closer to my place. I went in and there’s a older man in front of me on the line trying to pick up his medication Gabapentin and was being helped by this pharmacy tech. So they were talking and the pharmacy tech told him «yeah, your here to pick up your gabapentin for your diabetes». The older man told him, «no I dont have diabetes!». and this pharmacy tech said «well it’s used for different kinds of reasons» etc. I was thinking, well it could be for neuropathy caused by diabetes but whatever. So it was my turn to be helped, I told this pharmacy tech that I’m there to pickup my medications. And this pharmacy tech told me my insurance is terminated on 2013 and that I have to call them to get verification that I still have coverage. First off, I barely started with the company I am working at on 2013. Second, I think the pharmacy can call my insurance to get verification unless policy says otherwise. Of course I’m not a pharmacy tech or a pharmacist, but I do work in healthcare and is always in contact with the pharmacy for orders, verification, refills. I’m not sure what CVS’s policy is regarding insurance verifications but this pharmacy tech told me that I have to pay out of pocket due to my insurance not active. Well that’s funny that it wasnt active because I just used my insurance to get seen in urgent care prior to my trip to that CVS today. How am I sure this pharmacy tech really did his job when he thinks gabapentin is for diabetes? diabetic neuropathy yes, but just for diabetes? close but not close enough homeboy. 2 stars because they have boose in this store, otherwise, zero. taken my business to right aid at greenhaven and florin.

So I decided to switch to CVS Pharmacy to take care of my pharmacy needs. I must first acknowledge that when I made that first call to speak with the pharmacist there, whose name is Yen. She was very soft spoken and very nice. When I explained the situation to her regarding why I was switching pharmacys. She was extremely understanding and professional.
I asked her to call the next day to get my prescriptions transferred, but she told me that she would call that night. When I stopped in the next day to give her my insurance information and went thru my prescriptions everything was not in order so I called the other pharmacy to let them know. I just want to acknowledge the Pharmacist Ms. Yen for her caring professional attitude and patients in this situation.
It felt so wonderful to have someone that was so helpful and caring at the same time. Pharmacist Yen had a very caring personality. I also like that the other employees here are all very friendly and helpful as well. They always speak to you when you enter the store. I have never taken the time to look around in the store before. All the other times I’ve come in the store in the past it was to go back to the pharmacy because I’ve gotten one or two prescriptions in the past. I found the employees that work back in the pharmacy to be nice, but it was always just in and out so to speak.
Now that this will be my new pharmacy I guess I’ll get a chance to see some of the wonderful items they offer and start to look out for the CVS coupons. I’ve notice some pretty unique items which I always thought were odd for a pharmacy to sell but according to some of the other reviews that I’ve read, which I might add were pretty cool. I feel great about my decision to change over to CVS.
Its a new year and what better time to give someone else thee opportunity to please me with my needs. JK. But I am looking for to doing business with CVS. Thanks to Ms. Yen. You know what they say first impression is everything!

Love coupons? Than you’ll love CVS.
Poor trees, the amount of coupons CVS offers rolls down a foot or two of paper. Do not let it go to waste, most of their coupons give a solid bargain. I mean who doesn’t like BOGO offers or CVS bucks?
I frequent this location and they often have better deals than competing pharmacies. However, their stock lefts much to be desired. Often times they do not have stock of certain items and you would see empty spaces. I usually come back a few days and they have it restocked but then there are new empty spaces :/​
The staff are wonderful though. They greet you as you walk in and make sure you find what you need in the isles. Very helpful and friendly customer service.

Regular drug store with the normal stuff. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. If you need something quick great place to stop in and grab it. Store could use some straighten up but overall stocked well.

There’s something odd about this CVS. Maybe it’s the unnecessary, unavoidable, automatic doors that open every time some one walks by them. Maybe it’s the fact that the management doesn’t seem to care that all this energy is wasted on the AC when the doors open. Maybe it’s the slow, no «Hello», no «Thank You», no «Have a Nice Day» employees. Maybe… Just… Maybe it’s the carpeting.

I love this cvs. The staff are always friendly. When I walk around the store to browse I always get asked if I needed help to find anything. I’m always greeted when I walk in from the cashiers and I feel comfortable whenever I coupon. Love this cvs.

Im surprised at the fact that this CVS has such a wide variety if wines and beer other than the normal things that most other CVS offers check out the picture I uploaded. Why go to elsewhere? Pick up beer wine and a hangover cure at the same time. Haha.

I had not been in this neighborhood CVS for awhile since they always seemed to be out of stuff, especially advertised sales. Much better visit a couple of days ago. Store seems cleaner. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and still is.
I was in for an ad item and they only had one box of the K cups but offered nicely to look to see if they had any in the back. None there but let me substitute another brand for the same price. That was a first and I was surprised and happy.

This is my second time at this CVS. I never shopped at CVS till I started «Couponing.» I was actually in the area to pick up something from a friend so I stopped by here with my daughter hoping to find some diapers! Of course, the shelf was cleared since it was the deal of the week. I was able to get a rain check for the items. Maybe someday rain checks will manually print like a receipt. man the cashier’s handwriting is worse then my 5 year old son’s writing.

If you stick to the ad you will find good sales. Plus if you use coupons from the Sunday newspaper you save more. Additional savings can be made by signing up with their Rewards Membership (it’s Free). Every time you make a purchase you scan your card for extra savings, and you might get coupons for your next purchase. Out of all the drugstores, like Wal Greens and Rite Aid, CVS is my favorite. It’s clean, organized, has a good layout, and the staff is always pleasant and helpful.

I love this CVS! The young male manager is extremely helpful and nice, as are the workers. Everyone here is polite and approachable.

Their pharmacy has vastly improved over the last several months — I’d feel a bit guilty if I didn’t let you know that. What’s gotten better? Well, for starters, no more maiden name/​married name confusion and no more broken promises (call-​backs). At least two of the folks who work back there can be kinda short at times but I’m not too bothered by that.
I’m still not convinced that they have competitive prices but from time to time they have some decent coupons for the common consumer.

I love CVS. I love their deals and their rewards system. I always tend to find good deals for small accesories or make up. I like this drug store better than Rite Aid, although it’s in the same rating as Walgreens to me. The service is alright here, there are a few slow cash registers that rings you up.

This place drives me nuts. I do not go here often, but every time I do I am struck but how slow the teller’s are. Every Time.
I also hate being asked if I am a member of their club. Save the 10 seconds and concentrate on your job.
Other than the horrible customer service it is always well stocked, but so are other places with better customer service.
