The service was shit, but it was father’s day, so we were expecting it to be packed. Kinda makes you wish they had been a bit more prepared, and staffed more people, though. I’m giving one star because the food was a sloppy, greasy, mess that made me just not feel good after eating it. I got a avocado crêpe that was mushy, and greasy and I wasn’t really expecting all the veggies to be completely raw. My boyfriend got a seafood crêpe that was equally as mushy and greasy and the fish looked, smelled, and tasted like it came from a can. Considering the plates are about $ 10 with a crêpe and nothing else like salad or potatoes, that was disappointing. We will continue to make the drive to Crepeville in L st.

The iced tea is refreshing and unique. The atmosphere is nice, not noisy at all. It’s bright and comfortable inside; and they always have artists art and/or sculptures on display to look at or purchase. Im always pleased with the food here. It always looks and tastes amazing. I just had the pasta salad today for the first time, and it was really really good! I wish I had taken a picture before I gobbled it all down!

This is an amazing place. Always stopped here on way to Tahoe. They have by far the best onion soup this side of the moon, they must put 3 pounds of melted cheese in it,.along with a giant croûton. The kind of soup grandma always wanted to make. And their Cesar salad is something you want to write home about. Soo good. The crepes are very thin and airy,.filled with a variety of choices. And leave room for the desserts. So many great choices.

For the Sacramento area this place is pretty awesome! We went an hour after opening on a weekday. I enjoyed the ambiance and the pleasantries of the staff! It was quiet and not crowded at all. The restrooms where clean and stocked(always a +++). We had the hot coco w/whipped cream very yummy! Because I’ve never had a savory crêpe before decided to order the #1 scrambled crêpe and it did not disappoint. They have so many choices it’s almost overwhelming but then again that’s just more reason to keep going back.

Stopped by this café to have breakfast before going to buy flowers. I ordered scrambled eggs — I always order them to be done versus wet, but I definitely do not want brown eggs. The eggs actually were more dry than usual. Sigh. I just don’t get that restaurants can’t make good scrambled eggs when the hubster makes excellent scrambled eggs at home! I know… why not just stay home then, right? I also ordered the strawberry Nutella crêpe. I was surprised when it came to the table. All the strawberries were inside with Nutella all over the top. This is so difficult to eat! With every cut with the knife or fork the Nutella coats the utensil and the strawberries just squeeze out. I’m sorry, but I am NOt into having to completely lick restaurant utensils. Yuck! So I used the plate that came underneath my dish of scrambled eggs and turned my crêpe inside out. It’s so much easier to eat when the strawberries are sticking to the Nutella and not your fork! A little sprinkle of powdered sugar would go a long way on the presentation as well.

Delicious crepes and great service. At a very reasonable price. My go to crêpe is the Karma with spicy cornmeal batter. The garlic lovers appetizer is a winner as well — roasted garlic, cambozola cheese, caramelized onions, cranberries with baguette.

This is my go-to place for brunch every time I’m around the area. Excellent food, great customer service and you leave feeling satisfied. I have a sweet tooth, and nothing on their dessert menu has disappointed me. And be sure to ask for suggestions if you can’t decide. They’re all delicious!

We enjoyed the food. We had the French onion soup and salad. Service was excellent. The food was excellent. We will return here to try other items on the menu. The parking can be tight at times. Try off hours.

I had the crab spinach mornay sauce crêpe and my friend had the beef bourguignon crêpe. My crêpe was underdone and the pasty mornay sauce inside was unappealing. Her crêpe was also underdone, tho not as much, and the beef bourguignon would have been OK without it. We finished with a chocolate raspberry crêpe. Waitstaff were great, very friendly and attentive.

Definitely worth checking this place out at least once. My wife and I were walking passed this area and saw dessert through the window. We were greeted right when we walked in. Although they were busy they answered our questions quickly and efficiently. Our waiter probed to see if we wanted drinks or coffee which was convenient because I wanted coffee and didn’t know they carried it. The waiter noticed it was our first time and handed us a to-go menu in case we wanted anything to order to go(super convenient again!) Our waiter was pleasant and personable. We were astonished by his customer responsiveness, customer skills, and kindness. The dessert was on point! It really hit the spot. Their food is worth it. I would gladly come back. Sometimes when we come across employees we can tell if their heart is into what they are doing or if they are working just for a paycheck. Our waiter provided us service as if we were a part of his family. We truly enjoyed this place. :)

Danielle’s Creperie has it all… Great food, great service… the employees are so friendly. Ate breakfast after church this morning, so we could bring a «newie» to Danielle’s…she also loved it. I had the Crab & Cheese Crêpe and it was amazing. The coffee is superb !! The only complaint that I have. and I have this with a lot of restaurants… is that our companion was handicapped with a walker and can’t walk very well and invariably they take us to the farthest end of the restaurant, instead of up front where there are empty tables… I’m just saying.

My first and last time. Ordered ratatouille crape today, Awful taste. My stomach hurts so bad. Some weird moldy taste inside. Can’t describe the smell. If you are looking for a good quality food go to Ettore’s European place, 10 min down the street. Excellent service and food is amazing and always good. 0 stars

First, I’d like to say that this was by far the best customer service I have ever experienced my whole life. My husband and I were politely greeted and offered to sit anywhere we’d like. We picked a nice two seater booth however a customer on the other side of the divider was loudly playing a video of some sort. Not just one video either. So we moved and Lance(our waiter) was extremely apologetic for the customers misuse of cell phone etiquette which was nice of him since it wasn’t at all his fault. I’ve never ordered anything here other than the dessert crepes(specially strawberry) and each time is a hit. But I wanted to try something different. I had no idea that the entire menu was available from opening to closing! Because of that new discovery I took a little longer to figure out what I wanted. Lance would check on us, say there was no rush and when I asked my husband if he wanted to put in his order already so he wouldn’t have to wait for me Lance said«oh no, please take your time, I will be back to check on you again.» He was extremely polite and such a gentleman the entire time we were there. We just HAD to get his name before we left so we could personally thank him. Now, let’s talk food! I ordered one of Danielle’s specialty omelettes that had Black Forest ham, hollandaise sauce, Swiss cheese and a side of red potatoes. My husband had a similar variation and they were both made to perfection. We only ate half and boxed the rest to go since we ordered our own dessert crepes too. Banana crepes topped with toasted almonds and a chocolate drizzle to end the night? I think yes. Or maybe caramelized peach with frozen yogurt? I couldn’t be happier with the service and food quality. Definitely coming back for more! Customer service: 11⁄10(thanks Lance!) Food: 10⁄10 Dessert: 10⁄10 Cleanliness: 10⁄10

My sweet husband planned breakfast for us at Danielle’s because he knows how much I love it! This is our second time coming in the last 4 months and I couldn’t be happier. I would enjoy this place more often if we lived close by. We arrived before it got busy so it was quiet and service was great. We got our usual chicken club sandwich and chocolate raspberry crêpe. Enjoyed every bite. I’m already looking forward to when I get to come back.

There isn’t many crêpe places to go to in Sac besides this and Crepeville. Boyfriend and I were craving crepes one morning for brunch so we decided to try out this place. Service wise, it was slower than we’d like but it was also decently busy. I decided to try their spinach and crab crêpe while my boyfriend got a dessert crêpe one. Their spinach and crab crêpe wasn’t bad, I expected it to be heavy which at first it wasn’t, until I was like about 75% done it felt pretty heavy. Definitely wanted a salad, something fresh at least. My boyfriend said their dessert crêpe was okay, nothing special. Probably would rather drive to downtown next time than come here.

Pulling up to park, this place appears to be a cute, cozy diner setting. There’s an outdoor seating area in plain view. You enter the main entrance into the building, once you’re greeted by a fountain, the door into the restaurant is to your right. As we opened the door into the establishment, a slight urine odor smacked us the the face. I initially thought this was in the«hallway» area of the building, outside of the doors where the fountain was. But as I sat down, it was confirmed that what reeked of urine was within the restaurant. We stood waiting by the counter near the door, looking awkwardly at the workers, wondering if we should grab a menu or if we were to order at the counter & grab a seat as how other creperies operate. Finally, after a few minutes, a server relieved us of the awkwardness & seated us. While we were waiting for someone to take our order, we admired the various pieces of artwork for sale that were places throughout the restaurant. We ordered 3 crêpes, French onion soup, & orange juice. The«large» orange juice was a disappointing size for the $ 3 you pay. The cup of water seemed to be larger than the glass of OJ. I was hoping it would be bottomless, but there were no offers to refill either the water nor the OJ. The French onion soup was OK – seeing as to how this as my 1st time trying it, I have nothing else to compare it to. I’d definitely save my money & pass on these items next time around. The crêpe variety I ordered seemed fantastic compared to the other crêperies I’ve tried. I don’t think I’ve been to a place that offered anything similar to the beef bourganiese nor the karma crêpe. I don’t care for cheese & would prefer not to have something super cheesy. I liked how these crêpes had a perfect balance of flavor & the meat was moist. The filling was not too salty, nor cheesy. I was taken aback with how the crêpe exteriors weren’t crispy, but then I realized it wouldn’t be possible for it to stay crispy too long due to the sauciness of the contents. The portion sizes for the savory crêpes were good. They looked small initially, but they were quite filling. We had a good amount of left-overs to take home. The dessert crêpe only came with an option of ice cream or whipped cream – not both. It was nothing spectacular, seemed smaller & overpriced compared to the savory crêpes. Service was slow. They emitted the aura of «I don’t give a crap,» «when will this(influx of customers) end?!» & their expressions showed it. Bottom line: don’t be in a rush to get somewhere or something when here. The stench of urine didn’t help out dining experience either. As soon as the crêpes came out, the odor was nicely masked by the smell of food. I do like how their crêpe fillings are different from the other crêperies, so if I return, it would definitely be takeout. .until then, Danielle!

I’ve been here more than a dozen times and never left a review. This place is literally a hidden gem on the corner of watt & fair oaks. Their service is usually slow since it’s always a packed house on the weekends. Understandable and be prepared to spend at least an hour there. The food comes out pretty fast and always consistent in taste. I always get my usual spinach & crab crêpe except yesterday I tried it with spinach batter and loved it just as much. I’ve tried a bunch of other ones and they’re all great. I’ve also done the all you can drink champagne brunch and they are not shy at all, totally worth it! I even held a party the morning after my wedding there and they were very accommodating. They’ve got the best French onion soup in town! Definitely a must! I’ve gotten their escargot a few times as well but they were really bland yesterday. A little salt & pepper doesn’t hurt. Overall, my favorite place for crepes in Sac!

Had been here a few times in the past, also to its neighbor restaurant Café Vinoteca. Returned again recently since an out-of-town visitor was specifically craving crepes after church. Crepeville would also have been another option, but this was relatively closer of a drive. Parking was scarce, but managed to find a few open ones. Party of five, seated right away despite the elderly Sunday brunch crowd. We each ordered some kind of crêpe, I had the breakfast crêpe with mushrooms and ham. Didn’t come with any side dish, such as fruit or potatoes, but tummy, don’t fret! Didn’t take much coaxing. I also«helped» polish off one of the spinach and crab special crepes(super rich, I can see how it was hard to finish an entire one), as well as part of a shared Belgian waffle(gotta end on a sweet note). Coffee came in clear glass mugs, which stayed quite warm throughout the meal. Good about refilling the drinks. Several servers brought out the various dishes. A fine little spot for Sunday brunch.

Called in a to-go order. Had a discussion about wanting the salad with chicken. Get the salad with tuna. The chicken that did come on my chicken cesar is so hard and chewy I could hardly cut it up to mix it in. There’s hardly a place you can go to get a proper order these days. Pretty disappointed.

This was our first visit but the family member we were with said the place has been there many, many years. We were greeted right away and had a little bit of a wait for Sunday brunch(arrived around 11:30 a.m.) but not long. Although known for their crepes, both main and dessert, none of us ordered one. Go figure. However, once we saw the size of the ones being delivered to other diners around us, we were kind of glad we didn’t! The ones we saw were not your standard rolled crêpe that you’re probably picturing in your head right now, but more of a ‘pocket’ crêpe — about 4″ square. Huge! And not all swimming in a sauce. The California Eggs Benedict with bacon & avocado we ordered were beautifully presented and very good. They were not served on an English muffin, but on a sliced baguette. To be expected from a place with French roots. There wasn’t a thing left on the plate when done! A testament to its deliciousness. The Belgian waffle with berries & whipped cream is the go-to dish for our family member. She was unable to finish the entire waffle(it was the size of the plate), but made a valiant effort, making sure the fresh strawberries and raspberries & whip were all gone. The spinach salad came with roasted pine nuts and Gorgonzola cheese and the standard hard boiled egg & bacon bits. The dressing was very flavorful and there wasn’t a leaf left. We had great service. Very friendly staff and servers. Although the place filled up more for lunch, none of the staff seemed rushed or overwhelmed. This was a great find and look forward to returning — and ordering one of their signature crepes.

I am very disappointed with this place. First of all, it took them 5 minutes to greet us n then another 5 minutes to give us our menus. After we ordered we waited 30+ minutes n still my food was not ready. After 20 minute wait, we asked how long would it take n she said that we would be next. 10 minutes later, we told the waitress that we would not wait any longer. The waitress n waiters were all over the place. It felt really unorganized/chaotic.

I was hungry for crêpes this morning so we reached out to «Yelpers» for a great crêpe place. Being Mother’s Day we thought the wait would be long, but we were pleasantly surprised! We beat the church crowd! There were just two of us and we were seated right away. Wow! The menu has so many choices. After asking the waitress what she would recommend we decided to split the Daily Brunch Special(as she suggested) ~ savory crêpe, bowl of fruit, croissant with jam, coffee and a sweet crêpe. Instead of the croissant, we ordered a toasted baguette. The coffee was really good. We enjoyed the savory crêpe along with the fruit bowl. I was a little disappointed in the flavor of the crêpe for the sweet crêpe. It wasn’t sweet like you would expect or like we’re used to. Nonetheless, we did enjoy the breakfast and will return!

We had breakfast here last weekend and I was super impressed with this place! I was surprised how hard it was to find a place that served gluten free breakfast items in Sac. This little place offers a GF crêpe batter. We came in on a Monday morning and were pretty much the first ones in the restaurant. It has a classy diner type of feel. While it has the usual booths and tables, the decoration and subtleties of the surroundings convey French influence. Our server was so professional and very helpful with the menu. There are lots of items to choose from, though the crepes are the only specialty gf items. I went with something I haven’t had since I became gf. My banana Nutella crêpe was amazing. So incredibly indulgent. I also ordered a side. And then another side. Of bacon. And anyone that’s read my breakfast reviews may have noted I’m a bit of a bacon snob. My friend had eggs, sausage, and hash browns and said they were great. Coffee was also very good. Another friend from the area stopped by on his way to work and we sat and talked for an hour. It was really nice to not feel rushed out or like we were bothering anyone even though we were done eating. Our server just kept refilling our coffee. Great food, service, super affordable. I definitely want to go back and nom about a million more crepes

This was my second time here. And we enjoyed the food and service so far. Did I ever had better? Yes. Will I come back here? Yes. We ordered it one spinach, tomato and feta cheese which was pretty good. Flavors came together. Also we ordered spinach onion crêpe which also was good. And the last dessert crêpe we split together which hit the spot! Nutella banana and strawberry crêpe topped with whipped cream. Yum!
