I went to this «psychiatrist» because on the phone I thought he was nice due to his soft voice. After meeting with him several times I can state unequivocally that he is the absolute worst «therapist» I have ever interacted with. When I met him I was having trouble with sleep and anxiety and after seeing him a few times I feel actually damaged; I am in a horrible dark depression and was recently hospitalized. He is an old school shrink who thinks that by poking and prodding and insulting the patient that eventually the patient will have some kind of cathartic break through and be cured (after many, many, many sessions). This concept dates back to Freud and is largely disputed by cutting edge research. I would not send anyone, under any circumstances, to this unkind and inept doctor. When people make jokes about how people go into psychiatry because they themselves are screwed up, this is the kind of doctor they mean. God help his family.

He is kind, attentive, offers valuable feedback and he actually does psychotherapy! He and my sister worked well together and she has improved in leaps and bounds. He listens to the patient… so important!
