Dodd Towing

my f250 broke down on power exit off hey 50 east bound, called liberty mutual insurance, they found dodds towing service closest .they said they will have tow service at site within 30 mins .they also texted me their phone so i can call them
i did called, the owner tony picked up the phone .he sounded like he just woke up and he was very rude on phone .i asked him if he was on his way , he asked me to where, n he said in hour n
was getting dark too. he was not helpful at all, he even asked for proof if ins company did told me 30 mins. after 40 mins he text me that we need to pay $ 25 overage charge bcuz it’s a medium duty pick up .i had to call insurance company 3 times before tow truck showed up in hour 30 mins. also later i found out their shop was few miles from my location. i thought the owner don’t give a shit /​hopeless customer service, i wish there was an option to give zero stars .tow truck driver was very helpful n nice

So my minivan wouldn’t start on a Tuesday night (after 7:30pm). When I turned the key, it would make a fast machine gun clicking sound. I called my car care club Bett@r World Club for a tow. They called around and told me the quickest response time would be 90 mins.
Surprisingly, the towing company arrived in about 40 minutes. The tow truck was a tell slender Indian looking fellow. He asked me what was wrong w/​my car. I told him it wouldn’t start. He didn’t ask me any symptoms or sounds. I don’t recall if he tried to start my car himself. He decided to park his car next to mine. He brought out his jumper cables and hooked them up to my battery first. Then he hooked the other end of the jumper cables to an opening in the front right of his truck (w/​o opening the hood). Apparently there is a shortcut connection to his battery there.
Then he told me to try starting my car. Voila. It starts up. I really need to learn what to do when the car won’t start. He starts filling out the paperwork and has me sign it and we are on our merry ways.
I give him props for his quick response time as most tow trucks these days take an hour or more. The tow guy was efficient and professional.
