Ate here for the first time and it was good had the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket and it had awesome flavor but could use some more bbq sauce so I ordered some on the side but even without it it was good. Customer service was great too employees make you feel welcomed also checked in to make sure we were doing fine and if we needed anything overall good sub place

Delicious sandwiches on fresh bread! And always super friendly staff. We’ve been here several times now and every time I have loved my sandwich!

Pretty darn good, both me and my girlfriend were very happy with the sandwiches. The kids making the sandwiches are kind of weird but I didn’t care to much about that after I saw how good the sandwiches were. The price is not as cheap as subway but the sandwiches are way better than subway.

The 2 stars are for the customer service, not the sandwiches [which are delicious]. I order the turkey bacon sub with no mayo or veggies… I’m aware I’m weird and just don’t like crunchy stuff on sandwiches, and I can’t stand mayo. Twice in the last week, with two different employees, I ordered it and got a really inappropriate reaction from the person taking my order. If you think the way I order something is weird, fine. But if you laugh at me and said«uh, seriously?» we’re going to have a hard time. You’re a sandwich chain that’s about one step up from Subway in terms of quality, not Chez Panisse. Please just make my sandwich without being rude. :P Also: love the soda fountain. More places need to have those high-tech devices. :D

A fat kids dream. A good selection of sandwiches, hot and cold, made to order. A large dining room and my favorite, they have Coke Freestyle which offers hundreds of drink options.

The cheddar brisket is ridiculously yummy and the only sandwich I like there, all others are OK. Their meatball subs are my kids favorite, plus kid meals are free after 4pm!

I don’t know who is right or who’s wrong but when I arrived at firehouse subs on a Friday night in Natomas they told me they close at 9, Unilocal says they are open till 10… someone is lying.

To be honest, I came here because I just missed Beach Hut Deli as they closed at 8pm, and Unilocal told me Firehouse was nearby for sandwiches and open till 9. There’s also Panera, Mr. Pickles and Jimmy Johns, but I thought I’d give Firehouse a first try. Never went to the one in Davis, even with coupons, but that location permanently closed. As for this Natomas location, I’d more likely go to Chipotle or Thai Spoon. Only one family ahead of me in line to order. Kids got their free fireman hats and I did notice the cool Coke machine which I’ve seen at Dos Coyotes and Krush Burger in Davis too. I got a large(12″) Firehouse Hero, wheat, no onion, to go. FIREHOUSEHERO USDA Choice roast beef, smoked turkey breast, Virginia honey ham, and melted provolone, served Fully Involved — Loaded complete with mayo, deli mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a kosher dill pickle on the side. Brought the order to my table, also the card chip reader doesn’t work yet, still have to swipe. Establishment clean, workers nice enough. The sandwich would have been filling if I had eaten the entire footlong by myself. Remember, my original intent was getting a large at Beach Hut which is worth the $$…this size Large was just okay, good tasting but smaller than expected. The pickle spear was still included on the side, literally in plastic wrap rolled into the wrapper of the to go sandwich. The footlong is not enough for 2 people, but should really be a combo with chips and a drink for the price. Next time I’ll go for the J.J. Gargantuan at Jimmy Johns if Beach Hut is closed. Closer to home anyway.

Don’t waste your time of the Dealsaver Promotion. Firehouse has good subs, but there are several places in the area with very good subs. The reason for the low rating is customer service. We purchased a $ 20 voucher for $ 10 and decided to give this place a try. They said they will only honor $ 10 for our voucher, not the $ 20 value, even after we pointed out on the coupon where the Total Value is $ 20. We reduced our order and took our subs. We won’t come back.

I’m a huge sandwich person. I been driving pass this restaurant and finally got to try it. We end up ordering Club on a sub and Steak & Cheese. Club on a sub is with smoked turkey, honey ham, bacon and Monterey Jack, the bread was toasty too. Steak and Cheese was sauteed steak with provolone, onions and bell peppers. Both sandwich came with a pickle on the side. The Club on a Sub sandwich was delicious and the steak & Cheese was good, but a little pricey. The staff was super nice and friendly, but the service was a little slow. I don’t understand how they can take forever to make a sandwich. I know the sandwich is toasted, but still. Of course it’s isn’t a subway, so my sandwich comes out quickly. The quality is better, but note the price difference too. Basically you get what you pay for… They have one of those new coke machine that can make 100 different flavors. I already know what I like, but its always cool to try a new drink while I was waiting for my food. The restaurant itself is big, there a lot of room for seating and there outside seating too. It’s clean and there a few TV for you to watch the game in the corners. Overall, I wouldn’t go out of my way to get a sandwich from here. I would come here if I’m in the area though… its good, but wasn’t amazing. I have other go-to sandwich places.

Very good and friendly service! This was my first visit to Firehouse Subs and it was fantastic. The food had a lot of original flavor; it tasted like something from an actual BBQ restaurant. I ordered the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket sandwich. Overall, I’d definitely go here again. I loved it.

There’s nothing I like more than a good sandwich. Being that I work in Natomas, my options are aplenty. One of my coworkers recommended Firehouse Sandwiches and it just so happened to be a day that I was craving a Hot Sub. I came in on a Monday around 1:30. I was helped immediately and had about a 5 minute wait from the time I ordered to the time I walked out the doors. That was a huge plus since I only take a 30 minute lunch. On this particular trip I went in thinking I was going to order a meatball sub(my favorite), however, I ended up trying the Smokehouse BBQ brisket sandwich. I wasn’t disappointed. The brisket is slow cooked for 16 hours and you can tell that this is in fact true. The brisket is flavorful yet soft. The BBQ sauce and cheddar cheese add a great touch to an already flavor packed sub. I ordered a large which came out to be about 11 bucks which after seeing how much food you received is actually a decent price. In reality, I could have ordered the regular sub and it would have been perfect for a lunch portion.(A fact that I learned for my next visit). I ended up taking the leftovers of my large sub and ate it for dinner. The staff was helpful, polite even and made my first experience at Firehouse subs a great one. 4 stars for now being that I have only been here once. I’m sure that the rating will jump up after I try their meatball sub. Being that there are only 2 locations in the Sacramento area, Natomas being one and Roseville the other, if you happen to be in the area and get a craving for a sandwich, you can’t do much better than Firehouse.

The two times I’ve been here, I really enjoyed my food. Ordered the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket my first visit and Firehouse Hero my second. Both sandwiches were delicious. Had a major food coma after I ate the foot long. The thing I like about Firehouse Subs is their hot sauce selection that I can put in my subs. It give it the extra kick. Would definitely go again and see what I’ll try next. All in all, I wouldn’t rate so highly of a chained eatery establishment, but hey why not. Giving it a 4-star.

This place has a lot of sandwich options and I like the soda machine. The new York steamer has pastrami with a lot of flavor. The cheese steak also was tasty for The brownie was great and we got them with the meal for an added $.50. Both medium subs with brownies and drinks came out to a little over $ 22. The staff is friendly and let us know of the«couple» of sauces available. We will be back.

Went to firehouse subs today for the first time today. When I walked in, it was clear this was a popular place to stop for lunch I told the cashier that it was my first time, so she recommended the smokehouse beef & cheddar brisket. I was then filled in on all the sizes and the breakdown of how ordering went in a quick polite manner. Nice. The food came out in 7 – 8 minutes and was brought directly to me by a server even though I ordered to go. Nice. Got home, the sandwich killed it, and the specialty soda fountain makes for a good drink too. Good place to go for lunch during the work week if your in the area

I’m seeing this franchise pop up all over the place. This place is really big with a few tvs on to watch, but every time I’ve walked by the seats are not filled. I hope this place can survive because there is a lot of competition for franchise locations in Natomas, and even within this shopping center. The sandwich I had was good with quite a bit of meat and a number of add-on for free options, but it’s pricey for a sandwich. It goes with you get what you pay for, but I would come back more often if it was cheaper. I would more than likely get my money’s worth at other food places.

Wow, this place is delicious! I am going to demand they build this chain all over California! I went inside and the staff helped me right away. I ordered the italian sub combo with chips(and throw in a brownie, why not.) and went on my way. When I came home, I probably ate the sandwich is less than 3 minutes. It had an ample amount of meat, sauce and veggies. The brownie hit the spot as well. Overall, a much more solid choice than your typical run of the mill subway. The sandwich I had was delicious and I cannot wait to go back.
