Flamingo Banquet Hall

I met with Paul yesterday, to take a look at the venue. And it’s gorgeous, the location might not be the best it’s next to a Rite Aid and the neighborhood is a little scary but once you walk in to the hall, you kind of forget about the neighborhood. I was really happy with prices, but I did ask for a food tasting appointment just to make sure it’s a really good deal, you know what they say «you get what you pay for» The reason I didn’t give this place a 5 star it’s b/​c I expected to receive friendlier service, I did not really felt welcomed by Paul but the prices are good so I guess I can deal with it. I will give an update once the food tasting takes place.

My friend did her reception party from this hall. It has the capacity of 300 people. The hall is nice and big but it’s expensive as the hall rental cost.
When I walked inside the room, it smelled funny. I don’t know if this is a restaurant in the daytime and that’s why stinks? I witnessed the staffs spraying inside the hall with air freshner but still the smell lingered in the room all night.
Location– It’s located beside the Rite Aid and hard to see the store from a distance. Also, it’s in a ghetto community (Florin).

Flamingo Banquet Hall, Sacramento is a one-​stop shop! We came to Paul with 9 weeks until the big day. He told us not to sweat it and he had plenty of time to work with — he wasn’t lying! Paul sat us down and the 1^st day we picked our food items, linens, table clothes, bar setup, cake table placement, stage décor/​backdrop etc. His price even included the DJ! Felt like we had won half the battle! I was so happy!
Though I had been to other parties catered by Flamingo Banquet Hall, our reception buffet was exceptionally delicious. His staff was fast, efficient and polite. Our cake was set up on our dance floor so after we cut the cake, the staff efficiently moved all 8 tiers, table, silverware and proceeded to serve the cake to our guests! Talk about awesome!
I honestly don’t think anyone in the Sacramento area can beat Flamingo’s pricing — so much bang for your buck! Knowing we were in such a bind with our timeline, Paul could have easily took advantage of us and hiked up his pricing, which would have still put his venue below the quotes we had originally received. He didn’t. He was honest, helpful and resourceful. The quality of food, staff, ambiance and venue cannot be found elsewhere! I added a candy buffet 3 days prior to the reception, and Paul happily provided me with an extra table and linens — for free!
If you’re looking for a breathtaking venue for an event large or small, look no further! Flamingo provides elegance, quality and unforgettable service. Our reception had between 350 – 400 people, not to mention a huge dance floor, cocktail tables in the bar area, a candy buffet, and lots of left over room. There was no over-​crowding and no hassles!
