Went to FLOW for the first time a few months ago, and loved it. Great instruction and the price was pretty good. Would definitely go back!

My group had a great time out on the water with Rob. We laughed. We fell in. Enjoyed a beautiful sunset. Got in an amazing work out. Hugely disappointed that he said and did take pictures, but failed to deliver. We had to ask him twice about them and last response was the pictures were lost. Understandably, it can happen. But the same thing happened last year with another group. If you decide to go make sure to bring your own waterproof camera to make sure you get pictures of your fun time on the water.

My family and I had an amazing experience at Flow Stand Up Paddle Board in August 2015. We wanted to do this together, and it was hard to find a place that could accommodate us because my father is disabled from cancer treatments. Rob created an amazing and safe environment that accommodated my father’s physical needs. It was so meaningful to get my dad out on the water and be able to paddle around. Most importantly, we all had a great deal of fun and lots of laughs. We were a group of 5 for a private class. The price per person was very reasonable for a 2 hour class. The location is in a beautiful spot on the American River, the water is crystal clear and current was gentle. Rob taught to the many different levels of activity in our family. We absolutely could not have asked for more. Thank you so much Rob, we will cherish these memories forever!

I went to FLOW’s «Paddle in the Pines» event over the weekend and I was blown away by the experience. I was pretty nervous going into the whole thing because I’ve never surfed or done stand up paddle board before. Heck, I’ve never even gone tubing before! All my nervousness was put to the side immediately. Rob and his company are professional, informative and they have fun while giving instructions. I participated in the Leisure Paddle which was for all skill levels. There were a lot of beginners there and everyone was getting comfortable on their boards. On land we were given basic on paddling and positioning and then we were eased out onto the water. Fairly quickly we moved from kneeling to standing once everyone got a hang of the paddle movements and then we were off for some fun in the sun. Overall it was a great experience and Jenkinson Lake at Sly Park was amazingly beautiful — can’t believe I’ve never been there before! Thanks so much to Rob and the whole crew for a great first time SUP experience!
