I went here today for the first time after driving by and seeing it off the freeway. This place sucks you in! Like literally you don’t want to leave because you might miss something. At first I was just walking around the edges glancing at the chaos but once I jumped in and started digging I found all kinds of great stuff for a bargain. I didn’t have gloves but a lot of other people did and I will wear them next time I go. The only thing I don’t like are the mannerless vultures that push and shove to be first to look in the bins… hello nothing in that blue bin is worth pushing a little old lady out of the way for. Yes «sir» I did see you do that (you know who you are) and yes you did look like a huge jerk. Other than that this place is great. And of course I left with an entire cart full of junk I don’t need but shoot it was 99 cents. Macklemore would be proud.

Okay this place is not for the faint of heart. My mother would be absolutely disgusted and repulsed but she also loves to shop at Macys. Anyway, I heard that once an item has not sold after 6 wks in the stores that it comes here for last dibs. With that said, stuff is CHEAP! Clothes are $ 1.49 a pound and larger items are marked down. Everything is in large bins in no real order except by type: clothes/​books/​household. There are veterans who come here and know that every 20 mins or so that old bins go out and new bins come in. First time I came here I wondered why everyone was standing in a line until I figured out that they were waiting for the row of new bins so they could be the first to pounce like a jungle cat! Stuff is flying and breaking and people are pushing. It is surreal.
Yes, the veterans bring gloves because there can be some nastiness in them. Came across one that smelled liked urine and another that was quite damp and mildewy during some trips. This location is clean otherwise. The other one, not so much. The people that come here are usually what you would expect. Makes for interesting people watching.
The bins with the «stuff» I call it of household type items are usually quite broken by the time its been out for more than 15 mins because both employees and customers are very rough with the items.
The upside is if you are willing to dig, i mean DIG then you can find a gem or two. My arms and shoulders are usually sore from digging and pulling after I am done. We bought 27 lbs of clothes today that came to a mere $ 41 in which I will sell on Ebay for $ 400. Good finds for 2 hrs of work.
It can be hit or miss Just know its not pretty, its not quick, and you might have to get dirty.

You have to bring very thick gloves. I almost cut my hand on a sawblade and when I handed it to a clerk they acted like they could care less. There are some pretty nasty people in here too so watch out. The day I found I poopy toilet seat was the last time I went.

This spot is a dumpster divers heaven. BRING GLOVES! This is where all the left overs from all the other Goodwill stores goes for last pick thru before being shredded and sent to the landfills. So be prepaired to hunt and dig thru bins. When they bring out new full bims its like a feeding frenzy. In general most things are by the pound $ 1.49 per pound. Larger items like furniture, garden, equipment and electronics are priced individually. I was able to get (all in great shape) a lazy boy recliner, leather couch, coffee table, round chair, bar high kitchen table and two chairs, low profile tv stand & a cat tree for less than $ 50. (Bring a truck. They will hold big items til end of day & help load)

This place is not for weak! Leave the kids at home! The regulars here are pushy and rude. So watch out, keep an eye on your cart. I love this place! I’ve found brands such as miss me, pink, lane Bryant, and much more. Furniture is dirt cheap. If you don’t mind being sore the next day from all the digging, this is the place for you. Tips for newbies, bring your own large trash bags. It’s a drag trying to bag a cart piled high into those small bags. And gloves would be a good idea. I’ve grabbed wet clothing before, not sure what the liquid was. :/

Dirty, dingy, and just plain gross. I know it’s goodwill, but dang! The employees have zero customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

I would have to agree with all the other reviews that this place is gross. The bins are so big you can’t reach the other side, and it is dangerous, because things just break and they leave them in the bins. A lot of the stuff is not even worth anything, but they just leave them in there, they never clean them out. The one in Fairfield is far superior.

WEAR GLOVES. Today was my first day visiting a goodwill outlet and it really is like dumpster diving. Especially when you see underwear with questionable brown stains. I went on super bowl Sunday during the middle of the day. They only had one person doing the cash register but there was hardly anyone there so no wait.
Pickings were slim. But at $ 1.49/lb you can’t really complain. Maybe coming when they first open would be better. I still managed to find some pieces but didn’t even bother going through the home items bins. You really have to dig. It’s a workout for someone with no upper body strength like myself haha. Shopping carts are sparse. Overall it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. I think next time I’ll check out the Franklin location.
But really do yourself a favor and pick up some gloves at dollar tree.

I have found my perfect goodwill! Yay! It is definitely not your typical goodwill with clothing hanging on racks and knickknacks on shelves. Nope! You have to dig and find the treasures that are hidden in big blue bins that are wheeled out all day long.
You have to have a lot of patience to be in a place like this because there are the regulars that line up just to get to the new bins first, it can get chaotic to say the least.
Once you get the hang of it and you get over your disgust for such a «dirty» place you will enjoy yourself and don’t be surprised if 2 or even 3 hours pass by. You pay by the pound, $ 1.40 i believe. Though there is a list of things on the wall that they price individually. The reviewers that have to comment on the dirtiness and crowds and kids running around? Hey this place pulls no punches and you see as soon as you walk through the door what your getting into. I have found many nice name brand clothes that have tags on them but you have to dig through piles of stuff to find the goods which i have no problem doing. Brings gloves though, not the latex dish washing gloves bring good gloves.
I don’t bring my two kids here cause i don’t want them getting pushed around by these overzealous people and i sure don’t want them getting crazy dirty. Eventually you’ll start hearing tired and hungry kids crying in this place cause their selfish no good parents can’t rip themselves away from the bins, true story and something that i would never subject my kids to. That is why they stay home with dad while mommy saves money by buying cheap and at the same time getting my therapy on lol.
Watch out for sharp things in all bins, i got skewered one time by a nail on a piece of wood. These are the bins though that i have found my kids some nice toys and dolls in, sometimes brand new. Again kids are running all over the place and they leave toys and the ride along things in aisles so watch your step. If you’re a germaphobe or even a snobby uppity Nordstrom only shopper this ain’t the place for you! Happy digging!

So much fun! You find so many knick knacks and valuable things. I do recommend using gloves and wearing dirty clothes. Also do not take a shower before you come here. Be prepared to carry your findings with random bags or boxes because on a busy day you wont find a cart

The good news is, my test results after visiting this place all came back negative! Thank god, cause I thought for sure I’d need a tetanus shot after digging through the bins here. It’s definitely not your usual Goodwill store. It almost seems like a sorting/​junking facility that they randomly decided to open to the public to make a few extra bucks.
The place is huge, but only half of the space is used. It’s all long lines of tables with half-​empty bins on top of them and in those bins is: broken glass items, random articles of clothing with holes and tears in them, there were actual items with spider webs still on and inside them.
In the corner of the warehouse are a few pieces of broken and damaged furniture…
Yeah, I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Now, just to be clear, I am NO shopping snob! I get down and dirty with the best of ‘em and especially love thrift/​consignment shopping. I like to pick through the crap and find the gems just like anybody else, but this place?! This place?!
I feel yucky as soon as I enter. Nothing is hung up, it’s all thrown randomly into big blue bins for people to dig through. And, boy, do they dig! The first time I went I saw people practically jumping on the employees as they pushed out new big blue bins of stuff. The employee was actually yelling «get back» and «wait».
Now, I get that some people like the «dumpster diving» aspect of thrifting… (no judgement here)! If that’s you, this is your place. I can see the appeal for a different kind of shopper. Plus, things are so super cheap. They charge by the pound on most items. I imagine you can get lots of stuff for a few bucks here and that’s always nice. :)
Overall, not my kind-​of place. I’ll stick with Thrift Town (my all-​time fav)!

If you have enough money to have a phone, you will not find anything, this is if you are on a incredibly low budget and have no choice but to shop there, I honestly felt bad for those rummaging through the pee smelling boxes

This is the closest I’ve ever been to what feels like dumpster diving. I’ve come to this thrift store twice. The first time I was invited and told that I would need gloves. What? I just had to check this place out because it should at least be interesting, needing gloves and all. There are a few things you need to know if you want to find good stuff…
Wear Gloves! I can’t stress this enough. By the time you are done digging through bins of either random things that look like trash at first or clothes, your gloves will be… how do I put it? Filthy! So imagine what your hands would look like.
Plan on having time to spare because it’s not a place you can just go in and out with good findings.
Please don’t be like the whack jobs that gather in the place where the next bin will be rolled to. It not only makes you look like a savage but seriously, get a hold of yourself before you maim someone with your beastly desire to be the first to sift.
DIG! People love to just have stuff jump out and grab them but that’s not going to happen here.
If you are too posh, snooty, think that your sh! t don’t stink… don’t come here because you will not find squat.
Now for my experience. The first time I was not prepared enough. I had gloves but I was also carrying my purse and had to keep adjusting/​pulling my shirt because my jeans were really low and my «plumber» kept trying to make it’s presence known every time I leaned into a bin to sift. Great jeans but not great for this place. Still I found a bunch of stuff. I left and I had pain on my right shoulder from lifting piles of things to get them out of the way.
The second time I went prepared, comfortable shoes, long shirt, comfortable jeans, gloves and NO purse.
They sell things by the pound and so that makes it super fun for me because I like certain materials and they don’t weigh a thing. I like to buy things for me at thrift stores. My kids might get a thing or two but I have this weird fascination with second hand things so I do it mostly for me.
I don’t understand low ratings for this place when the minute you walk in you see exactly what is about to happen. If you are not willing to work… don’t come here.
Another thing… I don’t think anything about this place is gross. It’s not clean but the only difference between this place and any other thrift store is the manner in which they display their used items.
When you get home, dump that stuff in the wash and enjoy your now clean, new to you stuff.

I usually LOVE going to Goodwill outlets but this one gave me agoraphobia. Literally when I was trying to push a cart inside the store there was a small unattended child blocking the entrance and I had to wait for him to toddle out of my way. There were screaming kids everywhere playing with/​riding on/​the toys from the bins and leaving them in the middle of the aisle for you to trip over. This is what I refer to as «natural birth control» as my ovaries shrivel just being in this place… I was actually thinking to myself that I wouldn’t be surprised if there are parents that drop their kids here for a few hours and pick them up later… it’s so big and chaotic who would notice?
It’s hella noisy in there, hot as hades and super crowded. Seems pretty picked over unless you get there early and bring a posse with you. I did manage to find a few vintage items, some scarves, a 60s fur hat, 2 anthro skirts (one with stains) and a few other not super exciting blouses. that was after about 2 hours of searching. They sell items by the pound (I believe it’s $ 1.39 a pound). Total damage was under $ 14 so I can’t complain too much but I don’t know if it’s worth it for me to make the 2 hour drive from my house on a regular basis.

This place brings a certain element of thrift shopping I do not enjoy. For some the hunt for treasure might be even more keen. The potential client becomes the hunter. Searching endlessly through bins of miscellaneous stuff for that amazing find everyone else past by. That’s too much work for me. I have a hard enough time choosing between items even when it’s neatly organized.
As the old saying goes, one person’s garbage is another person’s treasure. There’s just big bins (see picture I took) of stuff all mixed together. There is no rhyme or reason. Could you find something useful for a good price? Absolutely. I’m sure there’s plenty of people find it a steal of a deal since they charge per lb. not item. But is it worth your time is my question.
I have too much stuff in my house already. I really need to shop at a place where I can make a quick in and out purchase. To simply be browsing through aisles and aisles of «stuff» makes me want to turn around and walk out the door.

The location is alittle tricky. It is right off of I-​80 snd Madison AVE. Date AVE comes up very quickly on your left if you are coming from the Freeway. The Outlet is behind Future Ford and Crowne Plaza Hotel.
It is newer, bigger, and cleaner than the Goodwill Outlet in South Sac on Franklin. They provide shopping carts but often they are all taken so you are allowed to bring in your own shopping cart or bag. A couple of older russian ladies did and it was smart. About 20% of the people wear gloves (either gardening gloves, work gloves, plastic food service gloves and even dishwashing gloves) It’s a good idea. I did run into some clothes that felt damp or wet. The clothes did not smell for the most part but you could tell some clothes were soiled. Wash all clothes before wearing. Although I did see some women trying on jackets.
There was a group of 5 customers who worked together to quickly grab clothing as they are freshly wheeled out from the back storage area. I would NOT call them hostile in their aggressiveness. They are there to get the goods first. They are polite but do not hesitate to move in ahead of you. I would not call it cutting you off, though. They basically are fair. I did not experience pushing and shoving but a lady there felt intimidated where the group of 5 quickly swarmed the bins.
The basic strategy is to quickly pick an item that remotely looks interesting. Throw it in your cart. After the swarming has died down, then re-​visit your picks and if they are’nt exactly what you were hoping for, then throw it back. That’s what the «pros» do. Rookies like me waste time by checking the size on the spot and looking for oblivious blems. Don’t waste time doing that.
I was there for about 2 to 3 hours. I think that is typical. I scored 2 hoodies, 1 jacket, 3 T-​Shirts and 1 pair of pants. It weighed alittle over 8 pounds and cost me around $ 11.50. ($ 1.39 per pound)
Overall, I was happy in the end. The digging is slow going and takes a lot of patience. There are spurts of excitement when the bins are initially rolled out.
It’s not for everyone but I’ll be doing it again.

This place is scary and exciting and fun all at the same time… what could be better than that?
I am a male so my experience may differ from women, but I never get hustled by any weirdos here. If you are a girl I recommend you cover up because sometimes there are weird guys here who will look down your cleavage whilst you try to dig through bins. Beware!
The furniture prices are great for DIY projects and the bins are pretty much full of crap and you gotta dig through to find the gems.
Sometimes things are dirty and disgusting which is why I 100% recommend gloves if you are a germaphobe, but I just make sure not to touch my mouth, nose or eyes while I’m in here because I am allergic to all kinds of weird stuff. After I get everything all bagged up and put away I make sure I wash my hands in the bathroom.
The people here are … interesting

You will not be disappointed if you enjoy looking for a deal. This is a Goodwill Outlet location-​inventory varies from day-​to-​day, but you will constantly find a bargain! This is the last stop for items that either were not up to the standards of the regular retail Goodwill Stores or not purchased over a specified period in the regular retail stores. I do recommend wearing gloves if you plan on digging through the bins (not my thing). I enjoy the huge selection of high quality books at a price you won’t find anywhere else. The staff is fantastic!
