I have been a patient for 20 years. Great attention to detail. great staff. was kind to me when I didn’t have insurance. and has even come in on the weekends when I had a dental emergency. Best Dentist in Sacramento!

horrible horrible horrible. He wouldn’t listen when i said the anesthesia was wearing off. He said we’re almost done and kept drilling! I kid you not!
He convinced me to get unnecessary bonding on my teeth to «add back the ‘K-​9′ points that had worn down from me grinding my teeth in my sleep. They chipped off and I had chipped incisors for awhile.
I had a tooth that had a slowly growing vertical crack. These are bad. As a result the vertical crack kept growing and killed my tooth nerve — I ended up needing a root canal and crown. My current dentist (who is amazing) said that Dr Irwin should have caught it. I might have needed a crown anyway, or maybe some bonding might have done the trick. But in either scenario I could have avoided the root canal.
I went to Dr Irwin on a recommendation. She LOVES him. So maybe I just had bad luck. But I never was squeamish about the dentist before Dr Irwiin. Now I am. So I felt the need to Unilocal about it.
