Are You Kidding me… I Ordered Scrambled Eggs And ham, With Coffee And Toast $ 14.00 then my buddy orders 1 egg and bacon $ 12.00 this is a café at a public golf course. Not a country club… UNBELIEVABLE

This place has the usual clubhouse menu but the food quality is very good. Staff is very welcoming and pour good drinks which is a big plus! The golf coarse is always in good conditions as well.

BLT with avocado so good. Staff is friendly. The busser ran over to open the door for me.

One star is for cubed microwaved chicken — wasn’t advertised that way for their oh so «special salad» Two stars for the servers lame attitude and mumbling from microwaver when refund requested. fyi I would’ve ordered rubber if I wanted rubber Meh

I find it funny that I am sitting at a gold course eating a turkey burger, with the urge to Unilocal about it. I do not golf LOL, BUT… this food is awesome! I was trying to choose something a little healthier than usual and expected a little bit of a dry burger that I could dress up with mustard and ketchup. WRONG!!! This turkey burger was so juicy and flavorful it is now on my crave list ! Do yourself a favor and check out the food if you are ever putting around ;)

I had been waiting at Mel Rapton for my car to be serviced so I was taken next door to the café at Haggin Oaks for lunch. I was served shrimp fettuccine. There were lots of seafood options and since it’s Friday during lent, I was very pleased. It was $ 10 and it was delightful. Generous portion of shrimp, pesto with asparagus. Add a portion of garlic toast and I was very pleased.

I’ve only had breakfast here, but each time the food has been decent and the prices tolerable. There is absolutely no reason to go out of your way to come here, but there’s also no reason not to stop here for some food if you are out on the course or the terrific driving range.

Surprisingly, I did not eat here after golf. I actually met a couple of friends here for lunch. For a muni golf course snack bar and restaurant, Haggin Oaks Café is great. All of the tables have unique historical information about the history of Haggin Oaks, Alistair McKenzie and golf pros of interest from the area. The food is good, the service is great and reasonably priced.

If you’re the only restaurant in the immediate walking-distance area and you have a captive audience of club-swinging fanatics willing to pay enough for their dimpled ball obsession, you’d probably serve mediocre quality food at gourmet prices just like they do here. On the bright side, the staff’s pleasant.
