Happy Kids R Us

My child was bitten on 3 separate occasions while under the care of Happy Kids r Us (under a month!). The 2^nd time it happened I told the owner, Deanie Guerin, that if it happened again I would have to pull my children from the daycare. Needless to say it happened again. The owner lied and wanted me to believe the obvious bite marks on my child’s face were not bite marks, but marks caused when she hit my child with a car seat across the face (by accident, I am not accusing her of doing such a thing on purpose). My child had OBVIOUS bite marks that were almost identical to the marks she had on the first 2 occasions. I would not trust this woman to watch anyone’s children. She is not honest and there is an obvious lack of supervision if a child that was a noted biter had a chance to bite my child several times. BEWARE. This woman «sold» me on her daycare. She is like a used car salesman. She even baked cookies the day I went to check out her «daycare» which later occurred to me she had done to mask the cigarette smell. I mistook her calling me back at least three times trying to convince me to enroll my children in her daycare as her «caring» about my kids. Now in hindsight I see she was desperate for business as she had had several families pull their kids from her care.
If I could give her zero stars I would. I’m sorry I didn’t write this Unilocal review sooner, but a story in the news I read this morning brought back horrible memories of this woman. I did file a complaint back when it happened which was found in my favor (I provided pictures of my daughter’s bite marks along with letters from her pediatrician and a family dentist who saw her on the day of the last incident) BEWARE!!!

This is my moms daycare and both our kids (now 22 and 19) have had the pleasure of being raised under her roof. My mom Deanie is an educator of small minds and really takes the time to prepare them for school. Both my kids are older now and have done very well with their education. I truly feel that without her early guidance and loving care my kids would not have had the extra edge needed to be successful young minds. I always felt good about leaving my children all day knowing that they will be stimulated emotionally and mentally. Thank you Mom (Deanie) for being there for our children at the begining of their young life!
