I went to Dr Sappal for an assessment on a tooth that I have been having a problem with for ~11 years(the tooth had received a root canal at that time). There is no evidence of an issue on x-rays, so other dentists have insisted there was not a problem. I would persist and then give up and then try again with a new dentist(one dentist did re-drill, clean and re-pack the root canal, which lessened discomfort, but the tooth still felt wrong). Recently, I was referred to Dr. Sappal by my new(awesome) dentist. Dr Sappal patiently listened to my entire history of The Tooth. No interruptions. I got that he had heard all I had to say(which, after 11 years is a bit of a tedious listen, I’m sure). He proceeded to do a much more thorough exam than I had received up to that point, and confirmed that there was indeed a problem(proven with a gap in the gums you could fit a horse in) and gave me a prognosis and my options, as well as his opinion on my best choice. Finally! He’s probably never seen someone so happy to learn that they need to have a tooth extracted. :D
