HeavenLy’s Yogurt

Great neighborhood yogurt place. Lots of toppings, friendly staff, great place for a family. They have a parking lot, which makes parking a lot easier than the Big Spoon on J. They also have shaved ice (not a fan), but other people seem to like it.

Took my daughter and nephew here and we really enjoyed it. The frozen yogurt was yummy and very flavorful. We especially loved all the great variety of toppings. Next time we’re in Sac, we’ll definitely be back!

It was hot on a sunny monday, and i was craving some froyo and next thing you know, i end up in here. When i walked in i was captured by the flavors they had such as cake batter, taro, and latte. Next i was in search of the toppings, once i saw the word mochi and popping boba i was sold.
I went ahead and sample 2 of the flavors, first sample is taro and i thought hmmm its good. I like how they blend it really well and not powdery. I then sampled cake batter and I’m like this is the flavor.
Went ahead and got a small cup and i got the cake batter and filled in with some latte without trying. Then i topped it off with green tea flavor mochi.
The cake batter is so nomz, but the latte on the other hand wasn’t my favorite and i wished i did try it first but oh well. The green tea mochi was really good and had a nice strong flavor of green tea in it.
It was a great experience and i enjoy the outside patio with a nice shade. The patio was quite entertaining watching all these crazy drivers speed. Thanks for reading and lets froyo!
ps. they don’t do reward stamps unless the froyo is 8 oz and up.

This place is super good with a ton of different flavors. I used to work at pinkberry and heavenly yogurt is so much better and more affordable. The only bad thing about this place is that its dangerously close to my house and I have a feeling I am going to be coming here a bit too often haha

We had the Shaved Snow in this place but we also tried some samples of the yogurt. I would say… stick with the yogurt! :) Their frozen yogurt is really good and they have a good selection of flavors. The shaved snow isn’t their best here. I love how they have different flavors of mochi and popping boba. All I need in my life are mochi and cheesecake bites.
For yogurt, I like the cake batter and red velvet. The fudge brownie and chocolate were good too! They had an ongoing $ 25 gift card for $ 20, so I decided to get that one. We will definitely be back to this place.

I got the shaved snow. It was half mango and half green tea. It’s not what I expected. The flavor didn’t taste like mango or green tea. I was pretty disappointed however I did sample the yogurt here before deciding to get shaved snow. I prefer the yogurt. They have a lot of good flavors. They also have a big selection of toppings which is a plus. I’ll come back because we bought a 25 $ gift card for 20 $.

Got the taro shaved snow with green tea Mochi. It was ok at best. I stopped eating ²⁄₃ of the way cause it was too much Mochi (might be good if you actually like Mochi but no bueno for me). Shaved ice was not as thin as I thought. So yea not very impressed.

Was craving frozen yogurt tonight and found myself here. While the yogurt choices were awesome and so was the staff I was disappointed in the lack of fruit toppings.
However I love the stamp card and Wednesday being double stamp day made the topping issue a little easier to deal with.

What brought me in here was that they were open fairly late on a Friday night. As far as doing anything special over other yogurt places, they don’t. But they did have some killer marion berry flavored yogurt that I’ve never had before. It was actually probably the best flavor of frozen yogurt I’ve ever had.

Our family has been enjoying our yogurts here since they opened. For the past 2 – 3 months (over the long hot summer) the air conditioning has not been working. As uncomfortable as it is inside for the customer, my heart goes out to the employees who spend hours here. Each time we come in we ask if the owners have fixed the ac. The answer is always no.

I live down the street and boy do I love it. Super clean. Some of the flavors are weird but as long as pistachio is on the menu I’m a happy camper. So many toppings and MOCHI to choose from. Perfect for the whole family. Don’t forget to get a stamp card. Parking sucks thats the only bad thing, you can either get lucky or just park on street and walk a short distance.

Frozen yogurt made the perfect «dinner» on this extra hot day! I always go for the tart froyo and HeavenLy’s is delish. Was pleased with the topping selection — thought maybe I added too many when I placed my dish on the scale, but the price was actually better than expected!
There was plenty of seating outside and we had a lovely view of the sunset as we devoured our dinner.

I never thought that it would come down to this, especially for a self serve frozen yogurt place, but ugh! I am SO disappointed in HeavenLy’s.
Every summer I look forward to getting globulous amounts of frozen yogurt, topped with mochi, fruit, chocolate sauces, and other diabetic inducers of the like. Recently, HeavenLy’s has been offering newer icy treats, like Hawaiian shaved ice with condensed milk and sweet red bean! Yeah! You read that right: Sweet. Red. Bean. For those of you who know what I’m talking about, I’m sure you already know that in order to have authentic Hawaiian style shaved ice with red bean, you’ll have to book a flight to Hawaii first.
ANYWAY, I had to try it, so of course I ordered it. Even though the regular frozen yogurt selection is self serve, specialty items like the shaved ice are made by the employees… shouldn’t be too hard, right? After all, they mostly just sit at the register. After I placing my order the girl at the counter said she would be right back with my order.
Firstly, I understand that there has to be enough room in the cup in order to mix to toppings together, but I felt completely ripped off. The cup should have been filled up to the top, considering the amount of money that is charged. Whatever, I didn’t say anything, mostly because I really didn’t want to put a damper on the day.
Second… hahaha, I’m still laughing from how annoyed I am. Apologies. After paying and stepping out of the yogurt shop, I began to mix the shaved ice and, drum roll please… NO RED BEAN. That’s the whole reason I decided to get the shaved ice! So, I went back into HeavenLy’s and asked the girl at the counter, «Uuuh, excuse me. I think you may have made a mistake. There is no red bean in my cup.» The girl gave me a bewildered look and replied, «Oh, we ran out. Sorry, come back next time when we have red bean.» This was after the fact that I had already paid. Mind you, that’s like ordering a steak with fries off of the dinner menu and only receiving the fries.
So people, moral of the story is, ask the employees at HeavenLy’s if they have ALL of the ingredients because clearly they cant do their job correctly. Or don’t go at all.
By the way, this is not the first time that I’ve had an issue with my order at HeavenLy’s… and funny enough, I think it was the same employee. Get it gurl.

It was hot out and ice cold dessert sounded like the perfect treat. And although this place is known for their yogurt I opted for a large plate of this shaved snow instead…

Their selection of snow flavors, toppings, and sauces — endless; I could come up with a hundred gazillion combinations and be happy with it. As long as it doesn’t have peach, real or artificial flavoring. No me gusta peach. blehh
HeavenLy’s, I’m a fan bam chikka wow wow ~

Pretty much kicks Big Spoon’s ass as far as cleanliness #SBI. Yes it’s a little further away from the house but it’s worth it. And OMG they have Taro snow… that’s all I needed to know and I was twerking like a 12yo at a sleepover.
They have so much fresh fruit which is my fav and for the peeps with the sweet tooth they have a full blown candy section. Different kinds of Boba and mochi is also on the top of my list. It took my Nephews forever to load up their bowls. I walked out of there $ 27 lighter for 3 froyos with tons of candy (pay by weight) and my Taro Snow which is sold by size since it’s super light.

Great sugar free options, friendly staff, nice selection of toppings.
But the best part about HeavenLy’s? The fresh cookie dough! This spot sticks out to me because of their cookie dough. It’s not cookie dough balls like every other froyo spot has — this is legit cookie dough that you have to break apart with the serving spoon. Its delicious and easily one of my favorite froyo spots :)

10 flavors of frozen yogurt. Shaved snow. Lots of toppings. Friendly staff. I will certainly be back! I had the special Taro and Mango shaved snow with green tea mochi and mango boba and fresh strawberries. Excellent. Only four stars instead of five because there was only one person working and we had to wait for service. While we were there a couple others came in and also had to wait for the staff member «angel» to come out from the back to pay. She was very nice and helpful, but they should have had more staff. Yogurt was awesome. My wife loved her peanut butter yogurt with cheese cake bites.

I like HeavenLy’s quite a bit. They have a stellar yogurt/​topping selection, decent prices, and consistently strong service.
That being said, I want to echo what some other reviewers have pointed out. This establishment is in pretty dire need of a deep cleaning and a décor update. Please throw out the vintage M&M’s posters, get some fresh new tile, and be sure that your storage areas full of dirty mops are hidden out of sight.

Sorry to be posting a negative review but my visit was rather disappointing.
First off, my shaved snow looked nothing like the ones in the other pictures. It wasn’t the pretty ribbony layers, or the shaped cylinder like Vampire Penguin. It was just an undignified mess which wasn’t very flavorful. And the topping. Mine was the green tea mochi with some condensed milk. They are being way too stingy with it, and that really diminish the eating experience.
Also, considering this is a froyo place with tons of topping options, I am not sure why they won’t offer more topping selection for the shaved snow beyond the mostly mochi options as listed on the board. Or better yet, shaved the snow and then let customers pile on the toppings by the pound? I imagine that would be really popular.
Definitely not a heavenly experience for me. I’ll choose condemnation and visit Vampire Penguin instead.

I always pass by this place and I saw that they were serving shaved snow! When I saw that, I quickly intrigued and so I decided to try it out! The nearest shaved snow place was near Stockton Blvd. This place was convenient for me to where I live.
The establishment was family friendly. The workers were friendly and helpful. They provide great customer service!
I seen a wide selection of toppings and yogurt.
I wish they offer more selection on toppings for shaved snow like more fresh fruit. Or even add shaved ice on their menu. I got the bursting mango boba topping. That was interesting to me. You should try it out to experience it.
Overall I’d definitely come back to try more shaved snow flavors if I’m craving some shaved snow.
