I ordered the perfect sides and cheesecake meal to be delivered to my parents’ place so that we could enjoy a nice New Year’s Eve dinner. What was delivered to their house was just a turkey, which wasn’t even part of the dinner. It was missing the ham, green bean casserole, and the cheesecake. When I called the 800 hotline, they said I can pick up everything except the casserole(cause it was only an online item) at the nearest store, which was a 30 min drive from our house. By the time we got there they said the only sides they had left were yams and potato salad! I asked them why couldn’t they set my order aside when the hotline called their store manager, and they said they couldn’t do that, protocol call. Needless to say, I was very dissatisfied with their customer service. I would have given another star if the food was at least decent, but not for the inconvenience I incurred. That was the whole point of ordering online. I Will definitely inform people I know to reconsider their holiday meals if they decide to buy from this establishment.

After waiting in line I am the next to be helped and the guy at the register walked away. After standing and waiting I am told to get in another line because the register is closed. I get at the back or another line and then a few seconds later they open up the original register. What a joke! This place is busy this time of year and the can’t even figure out how to staff properly. Poor management on or no management present on 12÷21÷15 @ 9:30am

My wife purchased a small Ham about 2 wks ago, but when we got it home to serve for Sunday dinner, the shank portion appeared to be over cooked and old. We live over 90 miles from Sacto and it would have been impractical to drive back down to return it. We have purchased ham from this store on at least 3 occasions and we’re otherwise satisfied with the quality. I would advise customers to fully inspect you purchase before leaving the store. Buyer Beware!!!

About an hour before closing time, yesterday, I decided I needed to pick up the smoked turkey breast special. The parking lot was empty, and inside the store employees were sweeping the floors, and cleaning up the countertops. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the employees who stopped focusing on their cleaning tasks. I gazed up at the menu board trying to find the prices of the ham and turkeys, and a real nice fella behind the counter warmly provided assistance saying the store was out of hams under $ 50, and there were only a few turkey breasts left. Well, that’s easy, just give me a smoked turkey breast, then. The pre cooked boneless smoked turkey breast comes with the same delicious, savory topping as the ham products, and it’s perfectly sliced, Yum! When I arrived home I had a few slices, and it was absolutely juicy and tasted just as I imagined it would. For $ 20(plus tax) the smoked turkey portions are plentiful and likely will provide at least a few days worth of meals. The convenience of the pre cooked product is perfect for a family meal, and portable to take to a potluck at the office. I’ll definitely be back-both the product and the customer service are outstanding!

The Honeybaked Ham is really good. But, my experiences with this place aren’t good. I bought one of there sandwiches because it sounded like a really great deal. What I got was a dry sandwich with lettuce with brown edges; old stuff; I’ll never buy one of those again. Then there was the time I went in to buy a ham bone to make soup; they have some really good dry soup mixes. They were having a sale but they had run out of hambones. The girl there said that I could have some odds and ends of ham that had been cut off. I took the ham home and it sat in the refrigerator for awhile. I made some soup and put the«meat» in the soup. When it was done I could see that the ‘meat’ that she sold me was practically all tendons, there was no meat at all. The she must have known what she wrapped up there to sell me was complete garbage. I had to throw the whole batch of soup out; you can be sure, I’ll never set foot in that place again.

They should change their name to «Honey baked Turkey Co.» Because their turkey is ten times better than their ham! That’s saying a mouthful, as their ham is extremely good! Went here to get some food for a family reunion! I think i paid $ 130 for 12.5lbs of ham and 6lbs of turkey and 2 packages of Hawaiian king rolls! That may seem like a high price to some, but it saved my mom from having to do any cooking on the day of our family reunion! Prior to last Friday i had never stepped foot inside a honeybaked ham store! This was something that we ate once a year, usually at Thanksgiving or Christmas! I didn’t know they sold sandwhiches inside as well! They were yummy and very reasonably priced! All of their sandwhiches were 5.95! They also had family combo specials for dinners! I will have to come back and try some of those! The staff was very professional and very helpful!

First off the food is fair. I ordered a couple ham sandwiches just to try them out because we were deciding whether we were going to use them for easter and Christmas dinners. Wasnt to impressed. The ham was ok but I personally believe my bf makes better ham. Potato salad was pretty good. A lot of onion but plenty of egg and flavor which I liked. Cheese cake was excellent. I really enjoyed it. Now my reason for the 2 star review was the service. Who ever the blond older lady who works around lunch time was extremely rude. I understand its hard to work in customer service but you never take it out on the customers who are being polite to you. We asked for samples she snapped«we dont do that». She was snappy with every single customer and the guy that was working with her was cringing at her attitude. She also rolled her eyes when I said I didnt want the salad with my meal. Unfortunately due to that first impression we wont be using them for our holiday dinners.

The ham from this location is excellent. The flavor his sweet, salty, and savory. The ham is already cooked so you can save time by purchasing here and you will still have a great tasting ham. The downside is the business looks like it is going to be closed down. Dark lighting, the employees seem disinterested. The greeting area is messy and unorganized. The ham from this store is also very expensive. A ten pound ham will run 70+ dollars.

We purchased several hams and turkeys for two events we hosted. The hams did not disappoint: moist, flavorful, special. This is the first time we had turkeys from the HoneyBaked Ham store, and they were dry and ordinary. So, what did I expect from a ham store? Will be back every year for the ham but searching elsewhere for turkeys.

The parking layout is inconvenient, lines can be horrific, and the ham is expensive. That said, it’s excellent ham and we go there every year. Do yourself a favor and don’t wait till the last minute.

I’ve eaten here many times & I’m always happy with them! I really enjoy having such a good sandwich so close to work. I always choose HoneyBaked over Subwayl! The ingredients are always fresh, the recipes are very flavorful & unique. It’s nice being able to watch your food being cooked! I’ve eaten most of sandwich shops in the area and .they are all delicious. The place is always clean and the employees are always friendly

I do enjoy the honeybaked ham and turkey that I usually get from here for the holidays. Although I do cook a lot and enjoy cooking, sometimes HoneyBaked is a better option with the limited time that I have running around Concord, Walnut Creek, Reno, and Sacramento. I also like the taste of their ham in particular and the soup mix too.

This is the best ham I’ve ever had, without question. Yes, it’s costly, but it’s worth it. The Honey is worth the money. Having said that, the good folks on Fulton Ave. haven’t mastered the fine art of customer service. There would seem to be just three or four big days a year at a place like this — Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and, I dunno, International Ham Day. You’d think the proprietor would figure it out. This year, when trying to arrange for a Thanksgiving ham, we encountered someone on the phone who, after placing us on hold for nearly 15 minutes, insisted we couldn’t go in to buy a ham unless we had a reservation number, which turned out to be false. She then tried to aggressively up-sell us on everything in the store except, of course, ham. We found that Honeybaked’s coupons were absolutely worthless unless you were buying enough ham to feed the San Francisco 49ers, and that the creamed corn for Thanksgiving dinner(Thursday) was spoiled and moldy by Saturday. So much for that part of leftovers. Bottom line — go for the ham and hold your nose during your visit to the store, which, if you go on one of their peak days, will require lots of patience as you wait in a very long line.

On Thanksgiving, we don’t eat turkey. We had ham. My uncle used to buy it for the family dinner, but I think the location that was closer to us closed down, so we haven’t had it for the past couple of years. I came here to get some ham. Pricy, but it’s just as good as I remembered it. It has Oscar Mayer beat!

Honey Baked Ham is good but nothing to rave about. I stopped in earlier last week to place an order for a quarter sized ham for Thanksgiving. The staff was welcoming and friendly. As I entered late in the evening I was offered samples and told the specials. The order took less than 5 minutes and on my way. I opted for the Honey Baked Ham starting at $ 24.99. The day I stopped in they had one for me for $ 23 but when my brother returned to pick up the order Sunday it was $ 32. No big deal since the deal was«starting at $ 24.00» but I did request the smallest one available since I was only providing for a family of 4. Ham was good, service was good. I guess I’ll be back for Christmas.

5 stars for the best ham… EVER! The only time I come here is around thanksgiving. Yup, I’m one of those crazy peeps waiting outside in that long line going across the parking lot to who knows where… and it’s all worth it. I called the day before… got a code for my quarter ham… waited in line for an hour… got the usual free sample of turkey, ham, stuffing, and mash on a little plate… watched a guy curse out a lady for pushing in line… grabbed my ham and jammed on out of here. Heck yes. The ham is perfectly smoked with that yummy topping of brown sugar. My only complaint if I could think of one? I don’t like the thin spiral slicing… I like my ham slices a bit thicker. Other than that, the best ham out there.
