Integra Telecom

Integra service is NOT good. At installation they charged for services that were their cost of doing business and part of installation. Now, they are charging $ 12.50 just to send our bill, another part of their cost of doing business. In addition their service is so-​so. I spoke with one of their representatives and she was just rude. I told her I was going to change phone companies. She told me I was under contract and basically stuck. I did not agree to be billed to send me a bill and she basically told me that I was stuck. STAY AWAY FROM INTEGRA. THEY CAN’T BE TRUSTED!!!

Internet service is poor. Pay for ²⁰⁄₂ on a bonded DSL line. Rarely get anything above 5 down. Customer service is even worse. I’ve never been so offended by the way someone treated me on the phone. I was simply inquiring about upgrading our service. That’s right we considered giving them more money for more service. They would not tell me any rates, and accused me of being from a competitor. Currently looking for other options.

I do home loans for a MAJOR lender in the sacramento area. Over a month ago we switched to Integra and bought a new phone system with them in the package. We have had no phone service, intermittant phone service, continually. Our direct lines still do not work. I and 100’s of other of us are commission only loan officers that rely 100% on our phones and internet to work. This has been absolutly rediculous. If you are a company looking at Integra, look elsewhere. Unless you can afford not to have phones or internet quit frequently.

Unfortunately we signed a three year contract with Integra. We have been counting the days to cancel. We have had difficulty with our phones many times and not able to receive calls. We are an insurance agency and business depends on the phone! The customer service is horrible! They do not follow through or return calls. They over charge for the internet and phone in comparison to so many other telecom services. When we finally could cancel without being charged, we gave written notice 30 days out and they still charged us for services for 23 more days after that. They refused to refund us a dime. Stay away from this company!!! They will pull you in and charge you an arm and leg for extremely bad service.

Phones have been down for almost 2 days now in Gold River, CA; thanks Integra. This is a joke; this is a huge place of business with hundreds of calls a day completely shut down by by them. Supposedly they are coming out today… even if they do fix it today, the 1 star rating still stands.

We’ve only been a customer for a few months and we’re second guessing leaving ATT. First of all, I’ve had to ask THREE times over 3 months to get our first month free (new customer credit); second they had never heard of the CA Teleconnect Fund (CTF) which gives non-​profits like our a hefty discount on services; their customer service hasn’t responded to me in a couple weeks about porting another line over either…
I’M IRRITATED.

I got a lot of pressure from someone in my networking group to change services from AT&T to this company. Because I believe in my group, and the business professionals in it, I decided to do business with this company. They came out, made copies of my AT&T bill and reported back to me the results. Although they say they can save most people money by switching, they could not offer me any monitary saving. I was told instead that my savings is in the fact that they will not raise my rates during the contract period of 3 years, where as AT&T can change my rates at any time. One of the other things they spoke highly about was the fact their phone lines run on a T1 rather than analog. I don’t know exactly what that means but they sure made it sound good. I advised them that I don’t like changing ANYTHING to do with computers/​phone lines in our business because it NEVER goes smooth. They assured me it was «a flip of a switch’.
Well…it wasn’t just a flip of a switch.
THEY cordinated for my computer and telephone system provider to meet at my office during this ‘flip of a switch’ to make sure everything went smooth. I at first thought that was great, since I was skeptical it would be a easy change.
I encountered the first problem two days later when I noticed our credit card machine was not batching out at the end of the night. After calling our processor they advised me my equipment isn’t compatible with a T1 line and they would need to send me a new machine. When I asked about the $ 4,000 stuck in the machine they told me that once I mailed that equipment back to them they would transfer all pending transactions through their system. Turn around about 2 – 3 weeks! So now this simple flip of the switch has my company waiting for $ 4000. But it gets better…
They then tell me not to process any checks until the new equipment is received. So now Im also dealing with a customers NSF check for $ 500 because it wasn’t verified through the check processing machine.
NOW I’m really not happy. But here comes my icing on the cake.
I just got a bill from the telephone system provider for $ 300.00 for them coming out AT THE REQUEST of Integra. Then I got a bill from the IT company for $ 92.00 for them coming out AT THE REQUEST of Integra.
And Im locked into a contract for 3 years ALL to SAVE ZERO money. $ 0. Nada. Nothing.
And she quit my networking group.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY…
