What a name! I stopped in Irene’s while on my early summer hunt for the perfect strapless bra for sun dresses. I didn’t find it there but the staff were very helpful and super friendly, I think they even have water and snacks at hand. While I believe the sizes start at 12 this store seems to cater more to the matronly super plus sized patron so off chance you’ll find something hip or high fashion here. Good spot to grab a giant night gown while you’re pregnant.

My g/​f needed a dress for a wedding (Mother of the bride), and she is a plus-​size woman, and Irene’s caters to the plus-​size woman. Decent selection. Fair prices on most items, but lacking in accessories; no footwear or purses. Honest and very helpful people. They make you feel good about yourself. Eileen is a marvelous woman, and very informed about attire. I can honestly recommend this place as they treated my g/​f with dignity. Beats the hell out of the snobs at Lane Bryant. Way above the old Sizes Unlimited. Give it a try.
