OMG. I was reading all the horrible reviews and I see that they are so wrong. My first experience with the Owner was amazing. I ordered the small tostitos and i mentioned i loved the tamarind pieces and when she came out with my order she told me that she had added more pieces and there was no extra charge. If you’ve had a bad experience with them go back to DIANA and shell take care of you. I Loved JB Ice Cream.

1st time coming here and boy do they have a VARIETY to choose from. I tasted the PITAYA and it was soooo yummy as well as the ROMPOPE&CAJETA. I couldn’t decide what flavor to buy… Ended up with: cajeta & rompope… it… Next time I’m getting the TEQUILA w/rum and a scoop of the CHONGOS… ahhhhhh this is my NEW addiction… Finally helados just like MEXICO.

This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The mango ice cream is good, but the service is so bad it makes you not want to go back. The first time I experienced the horrible service was when my bf and I went in for a mangonada and the lady told me the ice cream was too hard and didn’t even try to defrost it. She turned us away. My boyfriend and I thought we would give them a second chance so we went again and they had a long line. My bf went up front to check if they had mango ice cream and it wasn’t in the freezer. I asked the girl that was walking by if they had any icecream in the back so that why I didn’t wait in line for nothing she was nice and said she would check. She came back out from the back and completely ignored me. I ended up walking out again. This place is literally down the street from my house, but I rather drive all the way to south Sacramento for mangonadas then go here ever again. You didn’t just loose my bf and I service but my whole family and friends won’t go here either. Good riddens!

Everything was fine until my last time coming here. They messed up on my order and wanted to charge me 1.00 for their mistake. Not good etiquette. Their mangonadas barely have much mango for the price. I’ll stick to sweets & sugars. Way better customer service skills & their icecream is better too. Skip this place.

Been coming here for several years now whenever I’m in the area. You know that this is an authentic heladería when the clientele doesn’t speak English. Most of the employees do, though. Offers ice cream with flavors you’d find only in Mexico or the authentic places here. For example, my bf loves their tequila ice cream. Several other flavors whose names I can’t remember, but they come from fruits native to Mexico and have no English translation. You also get your variety of other drinks and treats, like bionicos, strawberries and cream, and their aguas frescas. I absolutely love their strawberry agua fresca and got it twice. Real chunks of strawberries, sugar, and ice. They probably put crack in it too, that’s how good it is. Pretty cheap too, at only $ 2.75 for a medium. Ice cream prices are more mainstream.

Very close to home, all the treats I crave in 1 spot. They are open late(9pm) which is a plus. The señoras are always nice & friendly. My favorites are the mangoniada, bionico & elote.

this place is gross. the actual lobby area is ugly and the whole place itself looks gross. i ordered a classic mangoniada and it was literally imitation mango juice with mango chunks on top. id rather save my 4.50 and go down the street and get my mangoniada from and elotero. not worth the hype or price whatsoever.

Such a horrible place I went and had a horrible experience the paletas were alright but the customer service was poop the«owner» didn’t know anything she gave us the wrong names to the ice cream popsicles she kept on changing the names on them she said that one was a rice with milk popsicle and it was actually coconut it was ridiculous took forever to make my tostitos I wont ever go back!

I love this place. My family goes every 2 weeks. Mangonadas are my favorite. I prefer the pineapple ice cream not blended. They can make your mangonada with any ice cream of your choice. The people who owns it is friendly. May be pricey but its worth it. The location should have relocated as of today. They are across from the 99 cent store now. I highly recommend.

It’s a little overrated. My nieces kept raving about this place and sad to say, I was disappointed. There was nothing special about it. Maybe I should try other flavors? Then again, maybe not because its way overpriced.

Over priced, about 2 ounces of ice cream for $ 1.75. Bad customer service. Save your money it’s not worth the in educated personnel working there.

Ehh. I wasn’t impressed at all. The mangonada wasn’t good at all. Too sour & soggy mangos. The sz of the cup wasn’t worth it for $ 5. The strawberry & cream wasn’t bad though. It’s not too sweet or plain. just perfect. . Accept ATM&CASH

I’m a big fan of this ice cream joint. The owner was a ice cream maker in Mexico for many years and he make all the ice cream himself. He doesn’t use any preservatives or high fructose corn syrup. Lots of real fruits and nuts in his ice cream and they are excellent. My personal favorite is Guanabanas ice cream, which I never tried until I found it here. But the Rum Raisin, pistachio, Mango are all very good as well. The location isn’t the best but if you are in the area, check it out!
