Stopped by this place for the very first time. After reading the Unilocal reviews I called and placed a order of chicken tacos to go. Placing a order over the phone was a little hard because the lady on the other end didn’t understand English quite well. When I arrived to pick up my food it was packed very nicely with extra diced onions, cilantro, lime, and four extra sides of sauce. The tacos were delicious. Glad I came across this place on Unilocal.Highly recommend.

Love coming here their tacos are beyond good. They start off with a freshly made tortilla and then the choice of meat I usually go with Carne asada and al pastor and I always add the grilled onions then u can top with your favorite toppings. Everything is always fresh. We come here pretty frequent. Reminds me of My dad’s home town in Mexico. I always enjoy coming here. There isn’t much seating but that is part of the experience. Love it here.

Best tacos in town! Every Friday and Saturday this places has a lady out front who makes tacos on the spot. Handmade tortillas and very affordable. I drive from North Sac to have these at least every other week lol love it.

Visit Friday and Saturday for the most incredibly, delicious tacos available north of the border, assuming you live in Sacramento. The lady makes hand made tortillas and everything else with love. They offer all the fixings including but not limited to pico, chile, and even nopales. And you can’t beat the price.

The place is super hidden, which means more for me. I don’t know why I’m even writing this review and exposing them to more of you. Maybe because love is not selfish, and I LOOOVE THE HECK OUT OF THIS MERCADO! Here’s why.
This is where I go to re-​up on my stash of Mexican candies! They have a HUGE variety (and of really good ones). Even for a small market, they keep everything well stocked (not just candies). They need to work on getting better produce in though… I often time question the freshness of the fruits here.
Grocery shopping to make dinner for your family, but honestly way too lazy to cook? No problem.
There’s even a restaurant within the store. And earlier in the day, there would be a food cart right out front making fresh and authentic Mexican food on the spot!
Buy a few orders to go and just tell the hubby you made it.
(Fresh Horchata for sale by the register too if you’re into that, I know I am!).

THEY HAVE LA MICHOACANA ice-​cream bars! The delicious Mexican popsicles usually with real fruit bits inside (the coconut ones are my absolute favorite!). NOT the friggin’ imposter, look-​a-​like-​la-​michoacana-​wannabe-​ass-​ice-​cream-​bars other places like the gas stations be selling. I got fooled a few times by those! But nah, these are the real deal. You CAN buy happiness (with $ 1), trust me! Don’t let anyone tell you different.

I stumbled upon this place one day trying to go to Lollibowl, which was just packed! I needed to grab lunch on a time crunch during a work day, so I decided to go in. It’s a grocery store, but saw a sign saying tacos sold here. I’m so glad I did. The food is authentic. The cook doesn’t speak English, so ordering is a little difficult, but they try and are friendly. Now I go here often for lunch, but I have noticed that the cook has changed, so the burritos are not as good as it used to be. The rice is so soggy and mushy now that you can hardly tell that it is rice. It’s a hit or miss here. Some days the burritos are so good and gets me craving and other days it’s disappointing, because I was hoping for that awesome burrito! The carne asada is grilled well and very flavorful. The fish taco here is awesome! Great for those looking for a lower calorie meal. They make their own salsa and it’s so good! They use it in all their food even as a dipping salsa for their chips. They also sell it there, so you can purchase it and try to make your own Mex food at home.
It’s 2^nd best to the infamous burrito trucks in Stockton! The reason why they only get 4 stars is because I am true to my Stockton burrito truck. No burrito I have ever had can be compared to that.
