Long Island Ice Cream

Delicious ice cream, fantastic customer service. I highly recommend this place!

Went here with my family while passing by. Great service clean place. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. Ice cream was delicious and the waffle cones were amazing. Haven’t had a waffle cone that tasted so good in a long while. Kids loved it so did we. We will be back.

lots of brands and variety. we had vics, oregon, dreyers, gunthers. great quality ice cream! such high quality barely melted after drive home! also, nervous cause came in 5 min to close but we were happily greeted and felt really welcomed. will make our new place to get frozen treats! owner was really nice guy, also.

Ok, so I do here and get a banana split, it was great, they had Tiesto playing and I guess the owner is a former DJ, says that it will be a cool place to hang out when he is finished with it.

This place is so affordable and awsome. Great tasting milkshakes drinking one as I write this review. Deffenetly worth a try if you haven’t been here.

For the first time ever, my Unilocalers have let me down. I was led to believe this place was a diamond in the rough. Turns out it’s just rough.
I went for a scoop with my fiancé last night and found that all the flavors, save one, were Dryer’s… I was expecting something house-​made or a little higher quality.
For the price of two single scoops with cones, I could have gotten 3 pints of Ben & Jerry’s which is, IMO, a gajillion times better than Dryer’s.
The staff was perfectly nice, but this just wasn’t worth it.

I would say an underrated dessert place. Maybe because of its location and lack of mainstream businesses around the area, whatever it may be don’t let their exterior deceive you. They have a lot to offer in this place!
Milkshakes, yogurt, hot drinks, fruitful blends, and endless ice cream. The guy ahead of us took his sweet time to order, which I didn’t mind at all (too many options; I could empathize), but the one and only worker behind the counter was thoughtful enough to make us a quick sample of one of his fruitful blends — the Raspberry Sipper. I’d come back there just for that. A small but very considerate gesture goes a long way.
I opted for the waffle bowl with two scoops. The first was a Dulce de Leche (caramel ice cream swirled with rich, creamy, and decadent caramel), and the second was Cookie Dough (vanilla ice cream loaded with chocolate chips and chunks of cookie dough). The guy initially offered me some chocolate drizzle for an additional price, which I declined appreciatively, but he ended up giving it to me for free anyway. The hesitation in my response must’ve given it away. Regardless, he was suggesting it would go exceptionally well with the two flavors I combined. He was definitely right ~ I had to leave a good tip for that.
Overall, a great customer service experience. The delicious dessert is worth coming back for as well.

I’ve been here before but never wrote a review, it was nothing memorable.
Stopped by today after eating Caribbean food next door. Only one guy working, seemed like the owner. He offered us Raspberry Sipper smoothie samples while we waited, surprisingly refreshing! I ended up with a waffle cup with double scoop of birthday cake ice cream. He offered us chocolate topping for free which was nice. He was friendly to all of the customers ahead of us too. Even offered us water before we left! In general, great service. He seems very knowledgable and passionate about his ice cream, which you can always appreciate about a worker!
Their location is so out of place! Wish they were closer to where I live. People probably don’t expect it to be anything special here. But they have everything you can think of! Smoothies, milkshakes, sundaes, toppings, donuts, ice cream, sherbet, lottery tickets, you get the point.

Line wasn’t moving fast enough. Had to bail. The place didn’t look very appetizing anyway.

Yummy! Glad we stumbled upon this place! After eating at Firehouse crawfish we needed something to soothe the heat in out mouths from the spice and what better way then ice cream?! They had so many different flavors to choose from. I love rocky road!!! I would have to come back and try the others.

I have been going here for years. My last visit was the last time. I am not sure if this lady remembers me but obviously not and it does not matter because I will never go back. I am an ice cream junkie, I frequent a lot of ice cream places. Even the ones that sell flavors like Basil Cream and Sea Salt Caramel flavors. I love to sample new flavors before I decide. We always buy two scoops and tip. We went in and I asked for two samples and so did my husband. This lady must have asked him if he was done sampling his options. I was appalled. Not normal or nice ice cream parlor etiquette. Next time I want plain ol’ boxed Dreyers ice cream, I will take myself to Rite Aid instead!

Came here for the first time after having lunch next door. Place was empty. The man that works there is very nice. This place have 44 different favor of ice cream. From 3 differrnt company. Giving this place a 3. Its a ice cream place. Nothing can really go wrong. I would come back to this place.

Came here for the first time with my friend and we shared a banana split– and let me tell you– it was heaven in our mouth.
(Atop a banana you get the choice of 3 ice cream flavors. And few toppings, PLUS whipped cream, nuts, and a cheery)
Aside from the tasty treat, the customer service was phenomenal.
Being very indecisive when it comes to such choices, we let the owner help decide for us as toppings and ect. He was eager to help and had a great charismatic personality. Even upon us sitting down to enjoy our dessert; did he check up on us and other customers, seeing how we were and how our creation tasted. Tell me, what other ice cream shops do you find service like that?
Also– my memory is short for it was a few weeks ago, but I do believe he left the shop open a bit longer to serve a more customers and allow us to eat in shop. Don’t quote me though.

My family and I absolutely love coming to Long Island Ice Cream. They have the best ice cream around with various flavors that we haven’t been able to find elsewhere. My personal favorite is their strawberry cheesecake… yummm! They have a Super Lotto /​Scratchers section which my parents love so everyone is happy when we stop here.

Simply said, I like this place. It is a neighborhood place, nothing fancy but I like supporting local community. They have good shakes and decent ice cream. Good customer service and never busy. My family and I will continue to go for sure!

While frolicking around stockton blvd. my friend and I happen to stop by this small ice cream parlor (if that). With a selection of ice cream [Ice Cream = Dryers], i look in disappointment. This place is just like rite aid that serves ice cream but coffee and lotto scratchers. On the otherhand, I try to see the good sides of this place. Customized malts and shakes. Upon my commands, they throw together two shakes in an instant. Nice.
The staff were very helpful and answered a barrage of questions from me and my friend. Overall, this place is just nothing special. Its a place to try customized shakes and malts, but nothing else.

Great ice cream! Great smoothies! They can make almost any types of smoothies upon request. I personally love any of their sorbet smoothies with red bull added for a little kick… There’s nothing like a nice cold smoothie with wings!
Overall, this place is awesome! Excellent customer service! All staffs are friendly and very helpful.

Passed by here briefly and decided to try some ice cream. Very quiet and quite empty inside, but oh well.
So I will give this place 2.5 stars simply because the girl who was helping me was nice… and I tend to go back and forth on what I want in regards to ice cream and she was patient with me. I was also thinking in my head with a name like Long Island were they perhaps mixing «Long Island» with the ice cream or had some secert flavor. or maybe it came as a side drink. I don’t know, but thought «Long Island» was an interesting name.
Oh, so they do sell scratchers and lotto tickets. I didn’t win crap either way, but at end I settled with a simple scoop of butter pecan for a really good price.
Go Long Island Ice Tea. oops cream!
P.S I don’t think ice cream and a Long Island would mix well. with me ofcourse.

This ice cream shop is more like a lottery/​scratcher store. The ice cream is nothing special, i came here to trade in my winning scratchers thats all! Everytime i do stop by, its always dead. And there’s never anybody up front when i step in, until u call out for help.
Lets see how long they’ll be in business. its been a while already!
