I’ve been to this Mcdonalds. Great service & if they happen to mess up an order I can understand because I’ve worked food service for years & no one is perfect. It’s kept clean with an obvious fast pace. I do recommend this location. I know it’s privately ran so that makes it a bit better because it feels more of a «home» vibe to it. The parking lot is pretty small but things like this are workable and shouldn’t be taken so seriously. I rate this a 4 star. It’s fast food people #Mcdonalds #FairOaks #RelaxItsOnlyFastFood

I actually created this review while i was giving another McDonalds in the area a bad review and I thought… Why not give someone that does it right, their props?
This is a great McDonalds. There is a family run vibe. The cleanliness conditions are great and the food is usually cooked to proper specifications. New employees learn to do it very quickly at this place or they don’t work there for long. Now, you wont get extra ketchups and you will pay for something extra that you ad to your order… no freebies at this place. But really, don’t we all just want the little things done right? Major selling point for me? They treat the breakfast items with the same love as the flagship big mac. Good job!

Awful service. Came in for a late night snack. Looked up online their hours of operation. Walked into, and was told they were closed, mentioned to them their posted hours of operation, which detailed that they were stil open. And was told I was told to leave. Not impressed, very rude manager.

Been to this McDonald’s a few times and sadly have to say I’m underwhelmed with the service. Customer service is a bit on a low end here and food time served tends to stretch longer than most fast food venues. (Worked in fast food and fine dining and from what I’ve seen the hustle just isn’t there) I see they also tend to be understaffed. There’s always room for improvement. Only upside is they haven’t messed up an order and food is ok. Overall 3 stars for now, as I know I’ll return.

I work around the corner from this location and have been there multiple times. They ALWAYS get my order wrong, they have the most stupidest people taking orders there who lack listening skills. Then you call to talk to the manager and they are just as rude and hang up on you. I’ve given this location a few chances well because we are human and everyone makes mistakes but today was my last straw. Never again will I order from this location ! Save yourself the trouble go to another McDonald’s.

This location always messes orders up. When I called this last time to let the manager know about my order I got hung up on. Will not go there again!

Not only did I not get my food in the drive thru when I called about it they hung up on me and didn’t offer me a refund. your shitty cheap food isnt expensive I get that but not everyone can afford to just give a company money for nothing even if it is under $ 5. Thank you for hanging up on me.

Lady there suggested an eggnog shake, you know who you are!
She was so nice compared to all the other employees and the shake was AMAZING!

The décor inside is really nice. It’s a lot cleaner than most McDonald’s. I mostly go through their drive thru. First off, they have two lanes! Which I like because it makes the lines go by faster. Second, they’re really fast with taking your order and giving your food as well.
There’s been a couple times though where they forgot some things but hey, that happens to everyone. Their fries are either a hit or miss. Either they’re really well cooked or they’re soggy. But customer service wise, they’re friendly and helpful! Free wifi too!
07/​09/​2015 – **ATTENTION DRIVE THRU CUSTOMERS
I still like this Mcdonald’s location although they have one incompetent worker in there. I have no issues with anyone else but the blonde lady. Just a heads up for all you drive thru-​ers. She sucks at listening to orders as well, so make sure you make her repeat what you asked for. Otherwise, you’re going to get to the end of the drive-​thru and you’ll be missing a lot of stuff and she won’t apologize for it. She’ll just offer a refund, how kind of her. NOT.

Nice atmosphere for a mcdonalds — new and modern décor, quietly working Asians as cooks.
I would have loved to stay and hang out to gain prospective on modern interiors however, my husband approaches me just as I sit down and waves his hand ‘no’. «I can’t handle the fart smell in here!» It’s true. As soon as you walk in, it hits you in the face.
Subsequently, We only purchased a drink and a flurry, non ‘food’ items.
Hubby thinks it’s a dirty mop smell. I think he was right the first time.

McNuggets were dry
It was late I just drove through
They were out of sauce
*my favorite flavors were discontinued

Good coffee here

While a clean and nicely kept McDonald’s, more times and not I just don’t have a good experience. Food is fine but it can sometimes take an exorbitant amount of time to receive, much more than you expect or experience at other similar restaurants. Customer service can range from decent to poor, and I never see them go out of their way for an issue. While the closest one to me, and that’s why I am there more times than I might want, I do try to avoid when I can. Given a choice I would avoid as there are other similar choices in reasonable proximity.

This McDonald’s has Wi-​Fi, a two lane drive thru and plenty of parking.
I went thru the drive thru and explained to the employee that I had a coupon for a smoothie on the menu. She was able to help me with it right away as well as the rest of my order. I pulled up to the window where the transaction was made and I got my items including my freebie.
The experience was quick and easy. The employee who I dealt with was very nice.

Yep! You read it right; 5 solid stars for this Ronnie McD’s…
And yes I do consider myself the rock star of McDonald’s as lord only knows I have been to more of them across the states than any other business in my lifetime to date… Maybe I shouldn’t have said that but it’s accuracy is sound…
Ate inside of this little gem this past week after double doc appointments to establish a new primary care doc for me and the man and had to jump on the freeway shortly after the appointments for one more appointment in Modesto.
This location was super close and open…
Now here’s what I LOVED about it:
CLEAN: Yes unbelievably clean inside and out including the restroom… Only thing I dislike is the air blower hand drying machine with no paper towels as an option for drying ones freshly washed mitts…
No trees need be killed to provide them with recycling of like products so high… Just sayin…
VASES WITH FLOWERS IN THEM ON ALL TABLES: This little addition sealed the deal for me as to date it’s the first time I’ve ever witnessed such a thing in a Mickey D’s or any major chain fast food joint for that matter… Added such a nice touch to the entire place even if the flowers were artificial they looked fresh and neatly arranged… Great form Ronnie…
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE: All employees we encountered were pleasant, welcoming, helpful and quick. With the exception of the actual Manager on shift who really didn’t want to part with my usual and customary request for multiple ketchup and mayo packets to drown my burgers in behaving as though she was relinquishing one of her own kidneys instead pffffff… However, she did even if begrudgingly so… Won’t fault the other employees who rocked it though for her poor form…
FRESH FOOD: We both noted how super fresh and tasty our double cheeseburgers were and packaged neatly as well unlike some locations where it looks like your burger spontaneously exploded inside the wrapper sometime after being prepared and before making its way to you…
SUPER CLEAN & POSH SEATING & TABLES: This location has über stylish super high seated swivel stools that land you perfectly at the countertop! Loved loved and loved that!!! Excellent form once again Ronnie…
That’s about it for me as it was a quick, pleasurable dining experience at a superior Mickey D’s… Of course that could all change on a future visit but for now the stars stand…

This is one of three McD’s close to my apartment, and I’ll avoid this one as much as I can. I’ve been here twice and have had a bad experience both times.
The first time the drive-​thru person seemed very annoyed that we were there, even though it was about 6pm. Ordered the 20piece nugget deal with the 2 drinks and 2 med. fries. I always get 4 sauces with this order, and at other McD’s I’ve never been charged, but I was charged for 3 out of the 4 sauces here. When we got to the window to get our food, we were told that they were waiting on fries. About 2 minutes later we were handed our bag. Our medium fries had about enough fries in them to be considered smalls, and they were old. When we got home, we discovered a handful of napkins wadded up and shoved in the bottom of the bag.
The second time my girlfriend wanted an ice cream, and I wanted fries, so we stopped on the way home. Again, the drive-​thru girl seemed really annoyed that we were there. We got to the window to get our food, and I saw our ice creams sitting on the counter. When the window opened, napkins flew onto the ice cream. This happened again as we were handed the ice cream.
I know it sounds like I’m being picky. After all, it is just a McDonalds, but there is one at Howe and Arden that is MUCH better.

It’s your standard, run-​of-​the-​mill McDonald’s. I haven’t had exceptional or awful service. It’s consistently average.
There’s nothing special or negative so at least you know you’ll come in and get exactly what you want from here.
I rarely have fast food (only in times of desperation for food due to lack of proper planning) but their fries are always shamelessly delicious.

I remember for many years before the recession, it appeared that this location paid big bucks for the best managers and hired the best employees. It was all about the customer. I would have given them 5 stars.
It looks like Ronald McDonald is tightening his belt now, and it’s not from eating big macs. The managers and employees are average now. Sometimes, I get good guest service. Other times, I get crappy guest service. I all depends on who’s working on counter. Sometimes, I get my food fast. Other times, I get my food slow. It’s like all the other fast food places. Typically, I give fast food places 3 stars. And this McDonald’s gets 3 stars, also.

This is a very clean and newer looking McDonald’s with a modern look and feel both interior and exterior. This particular location has great landscaping (tan bark/​bushes) around the building and is maintained very well. This McDonald’s also has tons of parking and the fact that its tuck away off the main street (Fair Oaks) makes it less chaotic to get to like some MCD’s in Sacramento.
SERVICE:
The have ordered food at this location several times in the last year and I have never had an issue with my order/​food. The food has always been fresh (hot/​warm) and the apple pies are always hot (fresh) instead of dry/​cold like most MCD’s I’ve been to in the past or recently.
This MCD’s has two drive-​thru ordering stations (not sure what they call them) to make ordering more efficient. I’ve noticed that their drive-​thru, like most MCD’s drive-thru’s, can get a little congested depending on the day/​time you go. This is an ideal location for ‘fast food’ and service with a smile. They do it right at this location.
I know its hard to really trust a fast food chain review for McDonald’s; however, this is one of the better McDonald’s location is the Arden area. TRUST ME!

Good stop for my Diet Coke daily needs. I still think that McD’s Diet Coke taste better than other restaurants.
