They do not even have a decent voice mail to leave a message. What is happening to psychiatric practice today?

I have never been treated so disgustingly. I call for assistance and NEVER get a call back. And usually my questions are regarding medication refills or questions. The staff never answers the phone and they NEVER return messages, priority ones or non-​priority ones !!! When I had a scheduled phone appointment with one of the FNP’s for 4:30 PM. I waited and waited and gave up at 6 PM. Finally, at 7:45 PM, when I was not available, she finally left a VM. So the next day, I left a voice mail for her and I never got a return phone call. WHO DOES THIS IN A PROFESSION PSYCHIATRIST OFFICE ??? DO NOT GO THERE!!! Warning… Warning !!!’

Just to let you guys know the end of the story (below): I believe it was… 3 months later? I got my call back. Not from him, mind you, but from one bitch secretary. The message went something like this:
«Hello, we received your phone call about a problem with your medication. If you want to set up another appointment, our number is 1−800-I-M-AN-ASS.» Click.
Not sure if I mentioned this earlier but this scroungy little strip-​mall joint is ridden with… um, not-​sane-​looking patients. Another reason you might want to not ever go here.
FURTHER UPDATE:
Literally the day I posted this review, we received a bill in the mail from one Dr. Mehtani. About ¾ of a year later. A bill, mind, that we already paid. And this bill was for TWICE the amount he is legally allowed to charge. May I reiterate, our appointment was all of 5 – 10 minutes, and he not only didn’t help me, he almost hospitalized me. So, all I have to say to that is… Go Fuck Yourself.
That bill is going to die a slow death.

Worst psychiatrist ever. Took 3 months to get in. He never saw me more than 4 minutes. He would not refill my medication I had been taking 15 years with no adverse effects. He switched my meds to something not covered at all by insurance. He is rude, condescending, uncaring and pointed out only negative things outside of my control (hence why I needed follow up). Further, the insurance panels he claims to provide for do not honor his bills. I’ve been working in healthcare 15 years. Avoid this man at all costs. His office is filthy, his staff is rude and the phone lines go to voicemail 100% of the time so I had to drive there just to make an appointment after leaving messages for 2 weeks. The board of medical examiners would be horrified by this place.
