Bery expensive, quoted me over a thousand dollars and took it to my norman mechanic and paid 589.00. The 1000 quote was with a 10% discount AAA, nice owner, but way overpriced. They pay to be a AAA rated auto mechanic. Please look around before you settle on this place.

Highly recommend Natomas Automotive. I was quoted over 600 $ for some work that I didn’t need. Thank god my tow truck driver recommended these guys. Clean, professional and honest. Singh was great. My shop for life.

Wow, had tires done there two years ago, had a blowout and didn’t discover until today that they put on one wrong size tire. This was when I was putting chains on the car that wouldn’t it the one r65 tire. Ruined the kids vacation. I would bring it back to Singh, but during this same service, they neglected to fix the brakes as asked, brought it to Pep Boys and they worked great. Singh said they upselling me, but he did give me a $ 100 service credit. Got two cars smogged, will never go back there again. Let me out of the shop twice in a dangerous vehicle. Now there may be damage to my transmission from two years of driving on uneven tires.

Dude tried to tell me I needed a whole engine rebuild when I only needed my heads rebuilt. I am glad that I got a second opinion because it save me at least 1500 dollars. Be carefull dude is a snake

Singh was very helpful with my smog test. He steered me away from an unnecessary service which saved me $ 100. Honest mechanic.

Brought in my car a total of 4 times. Everytime it was a different problem. The check engine light is still on. Even after a diagnostic and was told it was the crank cam sensors. Had those replaced. The tube to the radiator busts coolant everywhere. Then I was told I had to replace the housing and tubing, cost 600.00. Any women needs to bring in a male that understands cars. Felt lied to. Will never return. I had one problem with this car. After taking it to Natomas Automotive, it was one problem after another.

My check engine light came on and they did a quick scan and it ended up being my gas cap being loose. They were really friendly and I was in and out of there.

We have been taking my wife’s car here for years and always get good service and a pleasant greeting from either Mavis, in the office, or Singh himself. It’s not the cheapest shop but what GOOD auto repair place is cheap these days?

We owned a AAA approved auto repair shop for 23 years and since our retirement we have been looking for a shop near our home in Natomas. Our first priority was integrity followed by diagnostic abilities. I won’t go into the ongoing problem we had with the vehicle before we took it to Singh but my husband was very impressed with the process they went through to diagnose and repair it. He knew right away we had found the right place. We have since been back for an oil change and will be using Singh for all our automotive needs.

Singh is nice, honest and runs a tight ship. It’s amazing how he is always clean and so is his shop, considering it’s a car repair shop. He fixed my Honda Odyssey, Benz and BMW so they know foreign cars. I won’t lie, it came at a hefty price tag, but no more than their competitors. The job got done, and in a timely manner. He knew I had kids so he went out of his way to come pick up my car from my house when it wouldn’t start to save me the towing. That neighborly service warranted a good review.

One day when I went to my car to go to work, the car would not start. The engine would just turn. Called up the tow truck. I got a toyota corolla and I usually take it to one of the dealerships like Maita Toyota, but the tow guys had a limited range for it to be paid by the insurance. So I scrambled onto Unilocal and tried to see where is the best place to go within their range. After reading the reviews, I figure I would take a chance here.
I would say this is definitely a small shop after being at the dealerships. And I had to adjust my expectations for a small shop. But for a small shop, I think they did great!
Singh gave me a ride home and gave me some standard «just a diagnosis check» paperwork. By early afternoon, I was a little concerned I have not heard from them. So I gave them a call. They were looking at it… and still could not figure it out. Later… late afternoon, I had to call them again. They were still looking at it. Finally about an hour or so before closing, he asks me to come by with a spare key.
Turns out, the spare key works.
Would never have known there’s a chip in these keys… and they can degrade over time.
The best part is Singh kept the cost just to the diagnosis check.
So, definitely it’s a smaller shop. But for a smaller shop, they took care of me and I’m glad they here in the neighborhood. Thanks!

Terrible service and communication. I took my truck in Friday at 2pm to see if they had time for a quick oil change, man behind desk said no but he said he can do it Sat at 10am, so he took my info down and said to be back at 10am. Next day I come in and lady is typing and tells me it will be one min, I wait and after a few mins try to explain I am here to drop off but am cut off, she then tells the other customer waiting that her vehicle is ready and goes over everything with them, they go into a discussion about her bill and I am now standing there for 10 mins. When I see my opportunity I tell her «I am here to drop off my truck, can I just leave these here?» The lady said she will be with me in a moment to take my info down and I tell her this has already happened and I had an apt. She takes my keys and I head out, I come back 3.5 hours later to find that my truck hasn’t been serviced and I have to stand and wait to actually here this news from her since she is again talking to another customer about «the neighborhood», I take my keys and walk out. NEVER going back there again.

Excellent customer service! I was having trouble starting my car so I took it to Natomas Automotive (AAA recommended). I arrived without an appointment which wasn’t a problem. I was asked if I could leave my car for a bit so they could look it over. I said «yes» and they offered me a ride home. Maybe an hour or so later I received a call from them saying that it was a minor problem and that my car was fixed and ready. They even offered to pick me up again!
I was only charged for the diagnostic and nothing else! I found the owner to be very honest and trustworthy. I would absolutely recommend Natomas Automotive!

THIS IS A TERRIBLE PLACE!!! STAY AWAY!!! I would take away stars from this place if I could. I took my car in at 730am one day, Singh said it would take 1 hour to diagnose my car and he would call me as soon as they had it. 5hrs. later still no call, at which point I called him and he said they still hadn’t gotten around to it. once I finally got a diagnosis he said he had already ordered parts from the dealer and that it would take a day to receive them. He ordered them without asking my permission on the work. The next day again no call when the car was ready, I had to call myself at which point they said it had been ready for pick up for a while. when I picked it up, Singh said he had custom fit the part to my car… what he really did is he wrapped it in electrical tape (custom fit, really???) all in all a 40 dollar part that is on the surface of the car cost me 240 to fix, but wait there’s more. He then proceeded to tell me that «that may or may not fix my idle problem» which is what I specifically took it in for. Additionally when I asked him to show me what he had done, he acted offended and annoyed. Might I add that he over looked the fact that my car needed a tune-​up bad and an oil change???, things every mechanic should know. The only reason I took it there is because my car died and wouldn’t start and this was within the 4 mile radius AAA will tow. once he got it to start i took it to my normal mechanic in another city who then proceeded to tell me what was really wrong with my car. THIS IS A TERRIBLE PLACE!!! STAY AWAY!!!

Wonderful experience. I had an appointment for a smog inspection and I was in and out in 30 minutes. Singh was extremely nice and their shop was nice and clean. Paid $ 39.95 for the smog using a coupon from their website.

I recently had my car smogged at Natomas Automotive. The staff was friendly, and it was a clean, comfortable shop. I was in and out in twenty minutes. My one beef is that the magazines in the waiting room were from like, 1894. I was reading about this new fancy steam engine in Car and Driver magazine.

I brought an ACURA 2004 RSX-​Type s into the shop for several things:
1. Smog Test
2. Maintenance Check up
Singh was very nice and so was the lady that was the receptionist. The mechanics are also friendly. I did not get a back vibe about this place and hope others will trust them too. The service they provide is very excellent and that is why I gave this shop 5-​STARS!!!
I thought I read the review in Unilocal,but I guess no one has put comments about this place yet. I found this place through a consumer feedback website. I can’t remember which one.
The price I paid:
1. Smog — 39.95
2. Maintenance — 29.95
Total — 81.15
Time: Took 1:30hrs.
I thought the price is very reasonable since I have done research on the auto shops around natomas.
I would recommend people to come here, if you want a true honest opinion or feedback about your car. I will be coming back to bring my honda to them for service.

Car #1 was a DIY repair gone totally wrong, but I finally brought it in the shop and found out there were crossed wires. Now it’s running like clockwork.
I took car #2 to a different shop for a free tire rotation. They say I need new parts which were $ 1200(with labor)… I needed a 2^nd opinion. So, I took it to Singh and he said I only needed some of those parts and it’d be $ 650 out the door. No brainer. Left it there that afternoon and picked it up first thing in the morning. It’s been a month and still running smooth.
I’m a DIY guy, but for the major stuff I’m gonna trust these guys to do the right stuff at the best price. Glad I finally found a friendly & honest shop in the neighborhood.

I had my Honda CR-​V smogged at N.A. and had a very good experience. I was able to call and make an appointment for the next day (a same day appointment was available too but I was busy). They gave me a price and time quote over the phone and confirmed that I could use a coupon that I found on their website under the «Special Offers» section. When I arrived, I was pleased to find a quite and clean office with places to sit and read while you waited. Singh, the employee who helped me was helpful, polite and even let me use the smog coupon for my CR-​V even though their coupon excluded some types of cars. I think mine might have originally been excluded because it could be considered a small SUV. Either way, he let me use the coupon and off I went. The whole process took about a half hour which was faster and cheaper than the dealership quoted me. Before I left Singh asked me if I was a AAA member and told e that there was a AAA Office nearby where I could easily pay my registration. I know you can pay online, but as a AAA member I appreciate the reminder. Next time I need my car smogged or have a repair I will be coming back here.
