Got there around 10:30pm on Saturday night, there was no line and it was kind of dead but it picked up pretty fast around 11:30pm, and by midnight the place was packed. The first floor had some couches, chairs and tables which were great for chilling, and the DJ on the first floor was very good-IMO better than the one on the 2nd floor. Overall, the music was definitely club/hip hop which I liked and the crowd was very diverse which I also liked. The second floor had a small sized dance floor and we could barely go thru it once it got packed around midnight. There is a bar on both floors, but the one downstairs is the one that offers wine. VIP booths were on the second floor, and protected behind some fancy ropes. The bouncers were very cool and helpful, especially the one with short orangish hair, white male about 5’8. He was the reason we got in and why we stayed. Overall, I wouldn’t mind coming back because of the good service, good music and decent crowd. If you’re looking for a night out in Sactown on a saturday night, I would recommend coming here.

The club is dead even at 11−12am. Music could be better. The first floor is the bar/lounge. Go upstairs and you’ll see the club. Lots of Asians and African-Americans. I like the booths, but it reminds me of a restaurant’s.

Good music. Good entertainment and the bouncers keep it safe. That’s important to a girl. I will be back :)

Had my birthday party here back in August. Service was ok. They had my reservation all wrong. Sat us down at to small of a table for the large party that I was having. Misquoted us on pricing. So we were forced to pay a larger and misquoted amount. This place is kinda sloppy. Don’t think I’ll be coming back.

They charge cover now? DAFUZZ?! The crowd and ambiance has always been a bit ghetto, but the absent cover charge(and bumpin’ music) made the place worth visiting. You want me to pay $ 10 to go chill with some rachet-dy folks with addidas sandals and white socks and women in sweat pants? FUZZ no! Shouldn’t you stock the place with attractive ladies? :/Keep your«lounge» packed with ghetto, unattractive clientele, Palare. I’m buying drinks elsewhere where people wear real shoes and the clients have showered.

I spent around 46 bucks on drinks and food in this place. I thought this is a bar/restaurant. After 10 pm the security throw me out for not having proper shoes For clubbing. He didn’t even let me finish my drink. How would I know this place would turn in to dance club? I thought it was a bar/restaurant. Avoid going to this place. They don’t care about their customers.

Let’s just call it what it is… Asian club with a few scattered black men looking for Asian woman. Lol The dance floor is small and so packed you can’t move.

THISREVIEWISBASEDSOLEYONSERVICE! First off, I would like to thank Danny and Sheena. You guys are the absolute best and I appreciate all that you guys did. It was getting a little hectic, but you both were still able to provide excellent service by being attentive to our booth. You cleaned up our mess and gave us new glassware without us even having to ask. In addition, you repeatedly checked in to see if we needed anything else or if we were having a nice time. As for the people/environment. honestly, I was too gone in my own zone to even notice anyone else haha. I do remember the music though! I liked it.

I give them credit for the music and pretty fountains, but that’s pretty much it. I like the music, but the space is very small and there’s a discrepancy in dress code and cover charge. Clatchetness at its best.

Bouncers at the door are usually not the greatest. It can be obvious who they want to let in and who cant sit at the cool table. Bouncer told me that the sleeves on my polo shirt cant touch my elbows. Which truely threw me off! I wear a 3x, im no little guy. not sure why they tend to hire fashion police at the door of a bar/lounge.
Also, half of my party was inside. They had a long line inside of the bar telling people it was filled to capacity, when I got inside it was practically empty. Pass the negative. Drinks are usually good, The ambience is great. bartenders are cool, bouncers on the inside are pretty cool, dance floor stays packed but prolly cause its super small in there. Its a mixed crowd for the most part and the music goes back and forth from high energy to hip hop if not a mix of the two

Random individual: Hey what do you drink? Can I get you a drank? Me: No it’s ok I’m good Random individual: Are you sure? Me: Yea I’m sure Random individual: How about water? Me: O_o(thinking to myself: suspect) Two story club lounge. Dance floor is located upstairs with a bar slash lounge area. Downstairs is just bar and lounge area. People that work in the front outside always look grumpy for some reason. Dang, do you hate life that much macho man? Anyway, get on that guest list or else they’ll charge yo ass $ 10 a pop after 10pm. * Music: 2.7÷5 * Drinks: 3⁄5 * People: 2.5÷5 * Bartenders: 2.8÷5

Talk about Asian overload! This is the place to see your family, relative, and hometown buddies. Be sure to look sexy though. Thea ambiance is cool. I love the bars and the cute bartenders! The bouncers are cool, just say hi to «steve-rick» the cute bouncer. The staff really is awesome and patient. I must say the drink price is decent! I tried the ciroc amaretto and it was nasty! Tasted like day old coffee. Devon the bartender makes a great vodka Collins. Checkout the upstair dance floor. Its simply gorgeous! I love the fact that there is no VIP. EVERYONE is treated equally. When my feet starts to hurt, I can sit down and relax. My only complaint would be the bathroom. They should have more stalls. Oh one more problem. The bouncers need to be more thorough with ids. There are too many underage drinking.

Drinks were regular price tasted horrible but I still got a buzz I guess(could have really been the previous drinks at the previous club though), there’s upstairs/downstairs area, 2DJ’s, everybody seemed to be having a good time, I had a good time until I got molested on the dance floor, I guess dancing in a club makes it ok for MF’ers to grope you(I missed that memo), I slapped the guys hand away but I should have slapped his face off, I wish I had thought about calling a bouncer on him but at the same time I don’t even remember seeing one besides downstairs at the door, oh and there was no cover charge(it was a Thursday night), I’d go back to this club, I just have to be more aware of the creeps next time

If you do not like to listen to EDM, or house, or any of that electric stuff, Palare is your place to go. I love to dance, and I could do that by dancing to Hip Hop and R&B. Of course other clubs changed their music because the music you play do attract certain people to your venue. If you’ve been to Palare, then you’d understand. Palare is ugly from the outside, it’s between an ally and liquor store, yes I know. But on the inside it’s actually pretty nice. I remember when I was underage my friends would tell me that it was easy to get into Palare because the fence or gate in front of the place is so short that any one could hop over it. I doubt anyone could do that because there’s security right up front. But it was funny because now I understand what they mean. It’s a two story building. The bottom part of Palare is Like a lounge, chairs, a swinging chair I guess, a full bar and stools. There’s a DJ as well, but if you don’t want to be crowded then downstairs is cool to hang out too. Upstairs offers booths, Dj booth, a little dance floor, and a full bar. Honestly it does get crowded. It’s hard to walk through when that happens. It’s a really nice place, I guess the people that do go to Palare makes it hard to want to go. I go for the music honestly. There’s no cover charge, But I guess they charge on Fridays and Saturdays now. I heard they only charge guys but when I was there on a weekend, they tried to ask us to pay for cover. I guess it depends. Would I be back, probably. I love the music and the DJ plays Hip Hop, I can only fist pump for so long.

2 stars… because I have definitely had better experiences here in their earlier years when they opened. BEFORE: great music, fantastic drinks!(Best Lemon Drop I’ve ever had), no cover, not sure if there ever was a dress code before but everyone was dressed very nicely to the T. The atmosphere was as described in it’s name… EURO. And the crowd was a great mix. NOW: drinks are not the best, not the worst… but it also depends on who is serving you. The crowd… I honestly don’t know what to say about the crowd but it’s def not for me. It seems more of a 18+ joint rather than 21+. They say there’s a dress code(and I don’t blame them because of what the crowd is like now) but it is also not completely enforced by security for ALL that go there. The music is still pretty good depending on who is DJ’n that night(and I guess depending on what my mood is). They have cover charge now? It’s not even worth it. This«lounge» is anything but it’s name and it gets extremely crowed, I’m sure beyond what their legal capacity is.

I hear the Happy Hour is awesome here!(Half off drinks until 11pm!). Unfortunately, the people I go out with usually lag & I end up getting here after 11pm. Been to this place a few times the past half year. I hear it used to be better a few years back when clubbers were hooking up here & heading to after parties afterwards. I like that it has 2 levels & both have different music playing. There’s also no cover charge from the times I came. I usually go on Fri & Sat. I was getting charged $ 9 for shots & mix drinks, & $ 5 for beer which I’m used to paying at other clubs. The mix drinks are given in a half glass, but they are condensed with very little to no club soda at all(which I’d rather have. I cant stand watered down drinks). The crowd here usually starts off pretty chill & very roomy to roam around, but after midnight it GETSPACKED! I dont like it when it gets overcrowded cuz it starts to smell like ass after a while but they let it happen. The crowd is usually about 50% asian &50% everything else which I dont mind. There’s all types of people here from the typical newbie, to girls on «girls night out», to ppl from outta town, to ppl who think they own this place. I’ve seen cases where it can get pretty raunchy & trashy here to where ppl who just met are making out with each other on the dance floor & then later I see the same chick making out with another dude. LOL I usually kick it downstairs or outside in the smoking area. Overall this place is not bad, I’ll still keep coming back.

A night out with my guys and girls landed me at Palare for the first time. I’m not exactly sure what they’re dress code is. My friends and I were dressed for the Park. All the guys in our group wore dress shoes, button-ups and a mixture of jeans or dress pants. All the girls wore dresses and heels. I did see some people dressed really casually, so it’s up to you. No cover to get in! Which was a huge plus for us. When you first get past the line there is a small«patio» area with a heat lamp. Nice touch. Inside you have the first floor which is mostly for the bar, but I saw some people crowd around just mingling. Music downstairs and upstairs differ from each other(truly, the music downstairs was better). We quickly headed to the bar and I ordered an AMF and a Midori sour for my friends and a Long Island for myself. $ 25 for 3 drinks. Maybe I feel like this is expensive because I rarely ever pay for any of my drinks. They don’t have Midori, they use a generic melon liquer which I feel changes the taste of the Midori sour completely. AMF and Long Island felt watered down a touch. However, bartenders downstairs were mucho cute, so there’s a huge plus there. Upstairs was the dance floor; which was pretty tiny. There is another bar upstairs but it’s super crowded. We got two shots up here and some girls next to us told us their AMF was way too strong. Wish we had the same experience downstairs. My favorite part about this place was the music. Hip-hop all night long. Don’t get me wrong, I love EDM just as much as the next e-head but I cannot dance to it. So huge props to this place for their excellent taste in dance music. Although no cover is great, it is also their greatest downfall. Place got super packed super quick and the number of creepers here tends to exceed that of other places.

WHYWEWENTHERE: — much needed girls night out — wanted to go out and have fun without having to pay for anything(i.e. no cover) + have danceable music(i.e. hip hop vs. fist pumping music) DRESSCODE: — Trendy Fashionable Attire — No Baseball Caps — No Printed Jeans — No Sports Attire — No Athletic Shoes — No Baggy Clothing — No Hoodies — No Beanies WHATPEOPLEWORE: — myself and my group of friends were in casual club dresses/skirts + tops & heels — a lot of other women were dressed in an array of different clothing — leggings, boots, heels, jeans, corsets, tight cropped tops, loose flowing tops, club dresses, skirts — I saw guys wearing white tees and jeans, collared shirts with jeans, etc. THELOOK(FROMTHEOUTSIDE): — came fairly early so the line was nonexistent — I liked that the bouncers were very gentlemanly(the bouncers at other clubs I’ve been to have always been lightweight rude) THELOOK(FROMTHEINSIDE): — the stairs leading up to the club on the top floor can be hazardous for drunk people and women in heels, but thankfully & interestingly enough there’s an elevator! — I like that there’s seating around the wall leading up to the DJ booth; it’s nice & white, which was nice to look at with the blue lighting — it’s a small dance floor and a large bar, but once it’s packed everyone is dancing everywhere CROWD: — started off with Asians(which is what was expected; but then a LOT of black people came through, which added to make a good mix/crowd; especially for tall Asian girls wearing high heels who tower over the small Asian men who want to dance with guys they don’t have to look down to)
