Food is good. I always call in orders to be picked up. Just because it’s always a full house there when i go. So i’d rather bring it home.

Appalled is an understatement! I called to order an order TOGO. I was told I needed to come in because this employee preferred I do that. I don’t want to sit somewhere to take food to go when I know what I want. I asked, «so you mean to tell me I can’t order over the phone?» The employee said no, just come over we will take 10 – 15 minutes then you can go. Horrible over the phone customer service!

I am VERY disappointed at this restaurant tonight. I have been supporting this restaurant since they first open and tonight I found a tissue in my #1 large bow of phở. I brought it up to the owner or manger and she accuse me that I might have pick my own tissue and toast it in my bow of phở. I was mad but choose not to cuss her out because my entire family is eating with me. My wife also complain about the broth being very watery. The table of 4 adult across from our table also confirm of the broth being very watery. They all walk out not eating their 4 bows of XL bow of phở. I don’t know if I will ever return back to this restaurant. Time will tell.

Food here is good… prices for family dinner packages are awesome. Do order it and save $$$. Tasty good portions! Customer service is good because they hadn’t made any mistakes with our orders yet. Service is fast too. Also a great place for big groups. AC is a PLUS!!! Best Asian place to come eat on hot summer days!

This place is glorious. Never had phở before & I’m a very picky eater, so I was worried. Well. The phở ga(chicken) is savory deliciousness. I’m hooked. I’m ruined for life. This place now owns my soul. I also really appreciate the cleanliness of their soda glasses, which are actually kind of lovely cut glass. My husband and I were happy with the service, as we prefer to mostly be left to eat our food in peace. Husband had the Thai tea & liked it quite a bit. We will be back many times because of the fresh ingredients and delicious flavors.

Our food was served to another couple that came 15 minutes after us. We wondered why they got their food before us and they just got seated. Needless to say the food they ordered was almost like what we had ordered.(A rice plate and a bowl of noodles) Except the rice plate we ordered had extra items and the noodle was supposed to be the spicy one with ham hock. We were served with the food the couple after us ordered with the switching of the broth for the spicy noodles and the cold charbroiled beef that was re-plated. Disappointed. The bun bo hue broth was switched with the regular phở broth. Disappointed. We’ve come here so many times but this time was very disappointing. They didn’t even remake our order. Just re-plated, switch and serve.

This is my dads go to place for amazing Hong Kong style pan-fried noodles. The noodles are freshly deep fried(or at least we think so, it doesn’t have that stale taste to it), and it’s always crispy even when they pour the sautéed broccoli and beef over it. Although my dad ask them to separate it, he just loves his noodles crispy! They never failed in that department until recently. The flavor has gone downhill and my dad added sriracha to the noodles! That’s big news because it never needs any additional flavoring. It is true, they have a new Chinese chef. Wth? Shouldn’t he be the same or better than the previous?! My poor dads face was very disappointed. Mom had the canh chua(catfish sour soup). It was her second time ordering it and she craves for it. Had a few sip of the soup, it was pretty good. She ignored us the whole meal! I had Banh xeo. I usually order the pan-fried noodles like my dad, but wanted this instead. Super crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. It’s usually super busy during lunch time and there may even be a line! Go early or go a little later, less people although less waiters. A lot of them go on their lunch break. You’ll have a hard time waving someone down, like today. We come here quite often, but it was just sad to see my dad disappointed.

Per a recommendation from my friend’s parents who are Sacramento locals, this is the go to spot when you are craving a steamy warm delicious bowl of phở. Their Xlarge phở bowls are the largest I have ever encountered and the portions were incredibly generous. I highly suggest just going for the small or large unless you are prepared to food coma hard after this meal. The broth was somewhat more bland than most phos but it still contained a good beefy flavor. The rare steak, flank, and tripe were thin, hearty, and tasty. The sweet and sour chicken was crispy on the outside and soft and flaky on the inside, which was perfect with a big bowl of rice. The place definitely attracts big families because its much larger than most Viet restaurants and on a Sunday morning, we had to wait 10 minutes to seat a group of 7. I will definitely be returning whenever I am in the area!

The restaurant is very friendly and has amazing Vietnamese food. There are times when there is a small wait for a table. The place is a good size with a parking lot. It’s clean and has a variety of food on the menu. I ordered their small beef ball phở and it was on point. The amount of noodles and beef balls was satisfying. The egg rolls were freshly made and delicious as well.

Their Bun Bo Hue is good for the area! Honestly I was so hungry eating it but when it cooled down I realized the broth wasn’t that great. Also it wasn’t spicy at all and I had to add a ton of the fried chili in oil. The phở. Was just meh. Broth wasn’t flavorful but it was nice and hot and cooked the meat nicely. BUTHEY! This place is ridiculously cheap. It satisfied my craving but it wasn’t as good as San Jose bun bo hue.

I love this phở place. My boyfriend and I probably eat here at least once a week. Their portions are huge and the flavors are amazing(some days are better than others) and the price is right. I also really enjoy the pork spring rolls and egg rolls, while my boyfriend likes the Singapore noodles and fried rice. The service isn’t the best but it’s quick and friendly enough.

This place is very popular. The parking lot is often packed and I’ve had to wait for a table before. The service is quick, as most people order noodles. It’s an in and out kind of restaurant… Asians eat fast. I had the #1 large Phở, a coconut juice, and shared a side order of calamari. All three were delicious. I especially loved the calamari. Very well seasoned and stir fried with peppers. My noodles were great too. It was definitely way too much food. Although it took a while to be seated and it seemed a bit disorganised up front, the waiters were attentive. Our waitress came back several times to check up on us and refilled our waters as needed. I would like to suggest that they either add lemons or cucumber to their water if it’s going to be served to customers. You can REALLY taste that’s it’s tap water. We know it ain’t fancy.

This is definitely one of the better phở places I’ve been to. Me and my friends got back from tahoe, so we wanted something warm. They recommend this place since they live in the area. It was a Sunday night, so not much was open, but this place was. Big restaurant, so if you have big parties, no need to worry! It’s a very nice place inside, clean, and have some interesting decorations, not something you see in a lot of vietnamese restaurants. I ordered the #1, classic of course with steak on the side. The bowl was huge! FINALLY, a place that actually has a XL bowl. Being in Davis, the XL is laughable. So actually seeing a legitimate XL bowl, was a sign of relief. I usually love noodles, and you get A LOT of noodles. The meat portions were decent, I got about 10 slices of raw steak. The broth was legit, not sure if it was because it was cold out or I was hungry, but it was goooood! The spring rolls were a big PLUS! They were small and skimpy like other places. We also ordered the salt and pepper chicken wings, they were bomb! Overall, the food here is gooood! Service was nice, the whole staff was friendly. Definitely will come back someday!

I’ve been to many Vietnamese restaurants in this area, and this place never disappoints! Located at the Stockton Blvd strip near Little Saigon, Phở Xe Lua delivers it all for the customers for dining some incredible Vietnamese cuisines especially Chinese entrees too! On 10/29/2015, I decided to dine in here after coming that place several visits ago. As I inside, the atmosphere is wide spaced and friendly to dine. The concept is very tropical feel which it has the original Vietnamese designs that surrounds the whole room. The employees are very friendly and supportive as I welcomed there. No cons at all! For the food entrée choice, I ordered a small sized bowl of Phở Ga aka. Vietnamese Chicken noodle soup which it contains Vermicelli noodles, cooked chicken strips, and green and red onions filled with a warm chicken broth. As I ate it, that dish is superb delicious! The broth is very tasty and appetizing as I can feel the flavors of Phở Ga through into my mouth. The rest of the ingredients of Phở Ga totally worked and outstanding top notch for me! Such a great, excellent Phở meal! There’s some good, ample of parking spaces available, so you can park at their lot easier. In the end, Phở Xe Lua is the finest, and the most greatest Vietnamese restaurant right in the South Sacramento neighborhood. A well, worthy visit for your Phở fixes! My rating: 4 solid stars.

Yummmmm! Vietnamese fooood :) I like this place a lot. I always want to try something new when I come here but I always go back to the rice plates. Portions are pretty decent. It makes you full but still want a bit more :3 I tried #40 which had BBQ pork, shrimp and egg roll. I wish they had tau hu ky(fried shrimp wrapped in tofu skin)! The meat was tender and the rice was soft. It also came with a side of soup which was yummy. Their shaky beef is good too. The meat is chewy and goes really well with the tomato rice. Parking is spacious here. Tons of parking spots. The inside is also spacious. You don’t usually have to wait long for a table as there’s about 30 tables. Can’t wait to come back!

Phở Xe Lua is most definitely my favorite place for Vietnamese food in Sacramento. It looks a lot nicer than the surrounding restaurants, and the customer service is better. They have put more time and thought into their décor than their competitors. I usually order the pork chop with rice, and it is always juicy and flavorful. My boyfriend usually orders the vermicelli noodle dish, which always satisfies him. Our water cups were always refilled without us being asked. I will more than likely continue coming here until I can find a better place for Vietnamese food.

A Gem amongst the rough Phở rocks of South Sac. My work buddies and I drive over here after hearing other Asian co-workers impressed by the Vietnamese Restaurant. So we drive up and see that their Logo resembles that of a Train. No wonder they referred to this place as Phở Train! Parking was easy as compared to the limited spaces found at other Phở restaurants on Stockton Blvd. Upon entering the facility, we all commented that the place was clean including the bathrooms! This is unheard of for most of the Asian restaurants! We quickly ordered from the attentive waitress and our food was out in 5 – 10 minutes. For our limited lunch time, this was ideal and proves they were staffed for the lunch rush. We all ordered variations of the vermicelli noodle dish. The presentation and taste was outstanding. The food was warm, had freshly cut vegetables, and a good amount of food to make all of us full. We received all 5 dishes at once too so we didn’t have to watch our food get cold. Come here to eat at a clean Phở restaurant.

Food: — Hu Tieu Mi Dac Biet: I like to order mines«dry». The broth is on the side and and a bowl of sauce. Vermicelli and egg noodles with BBQ pork, shrimp, squid, fish balls, and lettuce. This dish is average. 3.5÷5 Service: Fast and often rushed. 3⁄5 Final thoughts: I would come back and try other dishes. My friends love the phở here so I’m here often. I haven’t had anything that I’ve loved nor have I had anything I hated.
