Pick-n-Pull

So irritated right now, came here to retire my vehicle. After waiting for an hour the woman behind the desk told us her printer wasn’t working and that we’d have to go to the Rancho Cordova location. Couldn’t she have told is that before we waited that long? Now I have to drive half hour and who knows how long the wait is at that pick n pull

worse customer service ever, mean people, they close urley and don’t mention it at the time you pay to enter, parts are overcharged even when parts are not complete missing something. better buy new, don’t worth the time to pull the used part and the cost you pay. this is pure garbage and rip off. stuff needs more education and kindness to treat and respect the public that feed them when purchasing there.

All vehicles got to go somewhere when there done. And this is one of many locations they wait to be picked and pulled apart to be part of your vehicle.
I had a very old car who needed much loving care and mostly spare parts, but it was my whip to and fro from work. So i wasn’t gonna spend my hard earned money on brand new parts or get pay extra at the dealership for «OEM» parts. So after tons of searches and price checking on the Internet, i was talking to some coworkers about my situation and what i needed to do.
I was referred by a few of them to check out some of the «junk yards». Low and behold i had one right near my work that i drove by everyday. While SMH with that i cant believe i didn’t pay attention look. I called about some parts, they answered the phone everytime i have called, they held the parts i needed without even some sort of payment to hold it, they were very friendly. You can save a lot of money if you know what you need and can do the work. Its a must to check these places out if you need some parts for your whip, hoopty, g-​ride. You will save money! There are some guarantees on part’s, just call and ask for the info and definitely call if you know what you need, they will tell you if they have anything you need in stock.
And if your unfortunate and your car is on its last mile, or worse its «unfixable» call for a quote, they do pick ups for your vehicle or you can drive it in! It was quick and easy, called, got quote and they came and towed it aways withing a few days. And the check was in my hand before they left with it! Easy money.

I like this location better than the other two in Antelope and Rancho. It’s were all the poor cars go to die donate life to other cars. I needed a front left headlight for my bucket. I was lucky. Six cars that were just like mine. Oh, I got two tires too and a hubcap the same as mine. All together it was $ 87. There are rows and rows of cars in every model. Beats paying $ 89 for a new headlight! Make sure to wear tennis shoes or work boots and you have to bring your own tools.

why have a phone number if you never pick it up for your customers??? everytime i call no one answers so guess i will be trying somewhere else not a good way to do business. you can hire a receptionist for fairly cheap to handle tasks like this.

For a junk yard this place has a lot of parts to choose from customer service is not the best, still a great place to find parts

They don’t ever pick up there phone. Don’t even bother calling. You won’t get anywhere.

Losers!!! Went to this «salvage yard» to get some scrap parts and old gears to use for an art project for my daughter. Well we had found in the dirt…4 smaller very non usable items and the stupid place wanted $ 75 dollars for them. Rust and all. If i ever need parts i will buy NEW before coming to this ripoff spot!!! Parts are parts is what they told me… FAIL !!! Lost customer for life.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life from every representative I talked to.
The tow truck driver was the only person who seemed to know what was going on. He said himself that they mess up a lot because «there is a lot of new people working there.»
I would avoid their services if at all possible. The whole process was completely ridiculous with every person saying different things. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

(BUYING USED TIRES) …I needed tires, so I went to pick & pull to save some money on buying tires and to my surprise I found a set of 4 used Michelin tires, tread looked decent 65%, I paid $ 198. 09′ tires for them, when I got home I discovered 3 – 4 tires were chipped badly when they were taking them off… Stuff were helpful and I went back and returned the. … its Very apsetting that I Could Not get my money back only Store Credit/​honestly .I need my money NOT store credit now wasting my time and gas driving to different pick & pull trying to find tires… NEVER AGAIN BUYING TIRES FROM THIS GUYS EVER !!!

haven’t been here in a while but I’d you need parts for your car. they might have them usually everytime i come here they never have anything for my car

The representative Sam in the front desk is such a rude representative! You are representing the company and their name, act like it. All I did was ask her a question and she said, well I’m busy dealing these other 3 cars and I’m on the phone with corporate, such a liar.. She was asking if the girl worked tomorrow, was joking around, and laughing like it was a personal call. You don’t talk to corporate with the type of conversation you just had. Then she told us to have a seat in the middle of my question. Rude rude rude. I can’t stand bad customer service!

Do not sell your vehicle to these crooks. They seriously low-​balled me on my Acura. The car had some body damage, but was in perfect mechanical condition. They tried to give me $ 300 for it. I went on Craigslist and sold if for $ 700 that same day in less than an hour.
Pick n’ Pull probably would’ve fixed my car up and sold it for $ 2,500 or more. SO glad I followed my gut on this one and avoided doing business with them.

This review is regarding the Cash for Junk Cars program through Pick n Pull.
DO NOT call these people, DO NOT use this company, DO NOT associate yourself with them in anyway unless you want the biggest freakin’ headache in the world. Everyone who works at this place is a complete idiot, no one knows how to do anything! I called them about a month ago to pick up a junk car from me & have had nothing but problems with them. They are continually getting orders wrong, coming on the wrong day, messing up paper work, just doing everything as incorrectly as possible. Honestly, I feel bad for them, any company that functions like this should not be open at all!

This has to be the worst in customer service I have ever experienced.
Our Government is better.
I spent over a half hour on hold after being asked if I could wait a minute. Then came back and said ehllo, and before I could get a breath out hung up on me, and when I called back they never answered. CRAZY!
TIME IS MONEY TO ME TOO YOU ASSXIPES
I’ll be spending my money at the dealership, and get better service.
I am not going to travel 90 miles to see if you have the F-​IN parts car.
THAT IS WHY I CALLED INSTEAD!
P. S. any smart asses think I could check on their website –well no it could not tell me if the part was on the car or what the price was, if it were.

This review is regarding the Pick-​N-​Pull Rewards Card promotion.
For rewards card members, they offered «Free Admission Plus Double Rewards Points» from Jan 27 to Jan 30 for rewards card members. I purchased about $ 100 of parts from them on Jan 27. I DID receive free admission. When I received my rewards card statement I DID receive credit for regular points, but I DID NOT receive double points as their promotion stated I would.
I would be happy to send them an email and request the appropriate credit and resolve this, but there is NO WAY TO CONTACT THEM by EMAIL from their website.
From previous experience, there is NO WAY that I am not going to waste my time trying to contact them by phone! I figure that I am just out a few dollars worth of Pick-​N-​Pull credit and posting this review will have to do.
I’ll be happy to update this review if they contact me and resolve this, but don’t hold your breath.

It is a freakin junkyard, but great for the DIY crowd. I figured out how to fix my car by taking apart a similar car a Pick-​n-​Pull. I found some real nice JBL speakers for 2 bucks a pop.

They price some of their stuff too high. I figured I would save money at pick-​n-​pull instead of buying new online. I paid the $ 2 entrance fee and spent a couple hours finding and pulling door handles and a window regulator for my 92 Camry. Keeping in mind that these parts were from cars that were 15+ years old I was expecting a good price.
They wanted around $ 7 for the interior door handle and $ 34 for the window regulator. I can buy these parts new on ebay for $ 8 and $ 29 which includes shipping. Needless to say, I left pick-​n-​pull empty handed.
Lesson here is to check the prices on their website before hitting the junkyard. In some cases its more conveniant, and cheaper, to buy elsewhere.

I figured since I had written about smogging my car and then talking about the retiring program that I should end it where I ended my cars little engine, here at Pick-​N-​Pull.
MY stomach ached after sitting there for an hour and a half waiting waiting and yes. waiting having to inhale the smell of oil and grease. They were super busy but the man with the face tattoos was super friendly and as helpful as could be as he ran around and politely barked orders at his co-​workers who were just as busy.
After being at the DMV and getting a revival junk receipt, the next step was to take it to Pick-​N-​Pull for the $ 1,000 check for my hunk-​a-​junk. The process was easy but drawn out. The guy told us that they get about 13 – 15 cars for the process a day and like I said they were busy. My dad and I made small talk with another guy in there doing the same thing, so it wasn’t completely miserable. After they checked out my car and made sure it passed inspection which was a little something like.
*must have at least one side window
*must have steering wheel
*must have dashboard
* must be able to start
haha how easy is that for an application?
So.after all passing that part we then had to wait for paperwork to be faxed and a phone call allowing them to hand over our check.
My little car passed and we got our check. But I couldn’t help but feel bad about «putting down» my car. It was my first car and I had a lot of teen memories and adventures in it. But hey, now I have some extra down payment money! Pretty awesome deal if you ask me!
I would def. recommend this place to anyone who is sick of putting money into their old car that wont pass smog!
