GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR TITLE SERVICE! They are the worst. Incompetent, inattentive, bordering on negligent. They will put things in the documents and never tell you they are there, in fact they will actively hide them by assuring you «everything looks good.» Expect no useful service from these ignorant and ridiculous people. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR TITLE SERVICE… they may actually point out important things rather than smile and say nothing at all. These are the used-​car-​salesmen-​in-​a-​plaid-​jacket types who would gladly sell you a car with a cracked block and several leaks. You want a lemon house to go with your lemon car? These are your guys and gals…

Every single person I’ve come into contact with at Placer has always been EXTREMELY helpful. Just now I called to see if I could have a copy of my buyer’s and seller’s papers sent to my tax preparer; even though I’m no longer a client and they have no vested interest in me, they still helped me out. Super helpful, very polite.

Anne was my escrow officer, and she did an outstanding job. She was professional, courteous, and very efficient. She patiently answered all of our questions, and was a pleasure to work with.

This place is A-​OK with me!
My escrow officer was on vacation when the process began and she came back half way through which caused some confusion and miscommunication. On my end, Anne was very nice and helpful, but I felt like my agent and loan lady had to really pester to get my escrow closed before my lock expired.
