Precious Nails

If you ever come across this nail place make sure you see LYNN and no one else. she is amazing! they have a variety of nail colors but not of the gel polishes. The ones they have are very poor quality and apply streaky. When i come here its usually just for white tip acrylics and a pedi.

There hasn’t been a review for this place in a quite some time. Anyway, I came here for a mani/​pedi with my friend for my birthday recently. It wasn’t busy at all. We sat on the chair (it’s also a massage chair and you can set the mode at whatever intensity you want) while our feet got a nice, warm water soak. The lady did a great job on my toes and even gave a nice massage before painting my toenails. We basically left this place feeling relaxed with pretty painted fingers and toes!
FYI, if you come here, they have cheap brand of nail polishes on the wall. If you want OPI, check the right side of the display glass!

I recently had very tired, dry, and sore feet that had become worse because I had been going barefoot during the recent heat wave. What made it worse was the fact that I had just moved up to Sacramento from San Diego and the climate was a bit hotter here than I was used to. I had decided to go barefoot around the house and to wear sandals since the heat was so intense. My wife had noticed that my feet were getting sore, dry, calloused, and cracked allowing dirt to get driven deep into my ever thickening soles of my feet. So my wife’s sister suggested we go to a local nail salon called Precious Nails on Stockton Boulevard (just a bit North of Gerber in a strip mall on the west side of Stockton Blvd.), and I am very grateful to her that I did. My sister in law suggested that I get the PEDICURE SPECIAL (They called it the Dac Biet) which means «special» in Vietnamese) which was to my surprise much more than a nail clipping on your toes. I sat in one of those chairs with massage and vibration mode going while my tired feet enjoyed a warm water soaking and whirlpool treatment in preparation for more to come. Without going into a long story I was relaxed, my feet were relaxed, and they began to soften for the next phase which included feet cleaning, removal of old calluses, nail clipping, cuticle cleaning and a warm wax treatment that made me feel like a king. It was heaven! I floated out of «Precious Nails» like I was on a cloud. To my surprise the price was very reasonable something even I could afford.
I realized the hard way that your feet are an extremely important part of your overall comfort level and if you take care of them they will take care of you. But just like the importance of taking your car to a good mechanic to keep it in tip-​top shape, so it goes with your feet and I found a good place to keep my feet tuned up for comfort. You must try them. Your feet will thank you!

Had my pedicure done and my French tip was crooked. Lady was very impatience and after fixing it it was still crooked. First and last time.

I’m pretty open to trying new places so I gave this nail salon a shot. I just wanted a simple manicure and pedicure with a solid color and tips. My tips were crooked and it looked like a half as job. And when I asked her to clean the clump hanging off my nails she looked at me like I was bothering her. It literally took her 20 minutes to do both manicure and pedicure including the «massage». I ended going home and fixing the damage myself. Definitely not going back!
