I keep waiting for this place to close, but it doesn’t. It’s like the little engine that couldn’t.
All I know is their refund policy sucks here. We got a Bluetooth and it straight up doesn’t work but they won’t take it back. Their store brand products all generally suck period. I got a basic cable to connect my iPod to my car and even that broke.
I guess they sell phones here. I dunno how that works since you generally have to buy a carrier plan when you get a phone. Man, how on earth is this place still here?

This is the best RadioShack I’ve ever been to. I live in Elk Grove, surrounded by about 3 GameStops and 2 Radio Shacks, and called all around looking for a cord I needed for my Xbox.
I was told by all these places close to home that the cord «didn’t exist».
I finally called this particular Radio Shack, and they said they knew exactly what I needed and they put it on hold for me and I got it that same night.
These people actually know what they’re talking about. Don’t waste your time at other Radio Shack locations.

Radio shack is radio shack. Has your simple needs in electronics. This greenhaven location is a small store. I usually run there if I need headphones for the gym if mine breaks.

The customer service is always a great. the store looks great. I am always greeted as soon as i walk in. The last view time i shopped there the store was clean and organized. The reason i gave it 4 stars is the prices. Not the cheapest place but for the helpful service it is worth it. When an associate does not have the answer for me they have taken the time to call other stores or research it online for me. I have however found great deals on their clearance items, and sale items so do not rule them out completely if you live in the area it is most definitely worth checking before driving all the way to Frys or Best Buy.

Everyone knows that customer service is a tough business, you have to be on top of everything all the time and try to please the customers in your store. I was highly disappointed when I went into the Radio Shack today around noon. I had been into this particular store a week or so ago in the evening, and was helped by a very nice young woman who was very helpful. That was not the today however. I went in looking for a lightning charger. There was a man and a woman working, and they were helping other customers… no problem! But to not acknowledge, not to even say hello, we’ll be right with you, welcome to Radio Shack, Nothing! Not the way to make an impression in a store that’s barely keeping head above water. (Not even going to mention the «security guard» who seem way more interested in their FB status or Tweet, that actually keeping the shopping center secure). To be in a store for 5 minutes and not even get eye contact is sad. I hope this was an off day.

Radio shack is always overpriced and expensive — what else can I say?
However, I was amazed by the customer service here. The sales associate was so helpful and nice. They took their time to answer my questions and I didn’t feel like they were trying to sell me anything — just there to help. They also have personalities, which made them very approachable and easy to talk to.

Brick and mortar stores wonder why they lose business to the Internet. It is not just price.
I am traveling to Iceland later in the year and need electrical plug adapters. I researched on the internet and found that I needed a European Shucko plug style. I happened to be out running errands and decided to go to Radio Shack to purchase a few. I would rather buy locally if possible. I was directed by a clerk to the adapters. Various adapters had countries listed on the back of the packages. Iceland, being a less popular destination was not listed anywhere. Nor was the word Shucko listed. I then went to ask another clerk if they had a list of countries that corresponded to the products they stock. I had to stand and wait a few minutes while the clerk discussed cigars with another patron. When he got around to dealing with me, his answer was. «I don’t know, check the internet or a travel agent.».
My response. «I’ll just buy it on the internet».

Good customer service for some in store, BUT there were sales people talking on the phone with customers for over 5 minutes. You don’t do that when there are customers in line to purchase. Can someone straighten these people out!!!

Excellent customer service. Came in here to buy a new cell phone. I had previously went to Best Buy and Fry’s to shop around. My last thought was Radio Shack in my neighborhood. I was very happy with the service and information I received.
