I have never purchased work boots of this caliber before, but on the recommendation of my parents I decided to go with Redwing. I arrived to an empty store save for the manager, Nick, who was friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgable. With the preferences I described he helped me narrow my choices to a handful of good options and proceeded to help me through trying on several pairs, without making me feel pressured or trying to up-​sell me at any point.
Another customer arrived with an issue and needed to exchange some boots that hadn’t worked out for him. I was able to observe Nicks professionalism, courtesy, and friendliness extended to him as well.
I walked out spending over $ 400 after getting inserts, boots, and socks. Nick didn’t steer me wrong; the quality of the merchandise he recommended and sold to me is beyond anything I could have hoped for and the experience of customer service left me wishing I needed to purchase more shoes! (haha)

I was in the market of buying my dad new boots for Fathers day, called this store, nick answered. he was able to look up past purchases as well as even hold the boots for pickup on the weekend, would recommend this store and asking for Nick every time.

The sales person at this location was full of her self to say the least. I myself have worn red wing products longer than she has been around, she felt she needed to school me with less than accurate information. I left the store and went to a privately owned store Rays shoes on Yorktown and and had the pleasure of dealing with Becky $ 230.00 later I’ll be back
