DOESNTGIVEFAIRVALUE This place was one of the recycling bin centers on CBS13’s Call Kurtis segment. Their scales are off and they short you on your recyclables. I tested this myself and I brought 25lbs of glass here and it weighed about 2lbs less on their scales. There’s too many recycling centers around to deal with these crooks. Will report to Division of Measurements Standards

Did not get the full value of my recyclables at RePlanet Recycling. Never went back. I go to Rare Recycling now(on the corner of Arden and Fulton behind 7 – 11). They are very honest, you can actually see the scale and they give you the state mandated fees for glass, plastic and aluminum(which are posted and programmed into the scales). When I was shorted at RePlanet I was told the redemption fees fluctuate. At Rare Recycling the scale calculates the amount for redemption(weight x $) and you can look right at it.

It was my first time recycling my water bottles. I pull up at 10:00am, the center was already open. I walk up to the gentleman running the operation, I explained how it was my first time recycling my plastic water bottles, he was kind in explaining how the process works. He was quick with handling every ones recycled goods. I will definitely come back to this location. Thank you.

So you have been stockpiling those cans and bottles and your wife has been complaining that you need to get rid of them. Well there are a lot of places where you can take care of that. This location sits in front of a grocery store and is usually pretty fast to get in and out of. You just sort your items into barrels and drag them up to get weighed in. You’ll sign a slip and then run inside the grocery to get your cash. There is nothing fancy here, but it is efficient and really that is what counts.
