What can be said about Requiem Events? They have awesome weekend shows with two rooms and stages to dance your butt off! Their staff is fun, friendly, and they get to know you. They’ve recently started doing 2 $ power hour well drinks on Friday from 10−11pm! Their shows start around 9pm and go til 2am. Within the past few months Requiem Events have also been putting together after parties for recognized artists that come and play here in Sacramento. They had after-parties for TBD Fest, BassNectar and this New Years Eve had both Oliver and A-trak come out and party with the folks of Sacramento! It’s always a great time had by all when you come to a Requiem Event! You can take my word on it, or you can experience it first hand and dance with beautiful faces until your feet are numb!

So often we all find ourselves traveling to massive events to get what we call that festival vibe — large amounts of energy, rushes of positive vibes, and escape from reality. Requiem has managed to take all that energy and bring it right back to the local community. They provide weekly events for Sacramento that prove that all the greatness that comes from festivals is truly rooted in the friends you have by your side, and that we have a pretty solid little scene in the 916. They put on solid productions and constantly grow in their staging/performance. They highlight local DJ’s, as well as bringing in others. They provide events full of dancing and love. They’re all around contributing great things to the Sacramento EDM/dance scene. What I greatly appreciate about Requiem is that they really make it personal. Most promoters act only as that — being nice when they want you to go somewhere, but failing to actually acknowledge you once you buy a ticket. They program how they talk to you. The folks at Requiem seem way more genuine. Instead of focusing on getting a high number of people to their events, they connect and build friendships. They bring people together. They seem to care about WHO is attending. And that, especially in a world so overrun but getting asmanypeopleaspossible, is what makes Requiem one of my favorites.
