I was told over the phone that our locksmith service should cost a total of $ 100.00. I was presented a bill at the end of the service for $ 190.00. I disputed this with the ‘technician‘ then called the main office to complain about this, I was told that phone quotes are merely a ‘rough estimate‘. When I asked for an address and contractors license number to the company, I was hung-up on. The address listed in Sacramento on Google is bogus; 3600 Sunrise Blvd Rancho Cordova, CA95742‑7339. I did call the LA Listing acheived from the contractors license board and spoke to a woman who told me that they do operate out of Sacramento but who also declined to provide owners information and license number. Again I was hung up on. Appearantly this activity is happening to other people throughout California:

I echo the reviews of the others. I got scammed and feel terrible about it and don’t want it to happen to anyone else.

First off – I love my husband but he should have known better than to call the first person who popped up when he google searched. Apparently he hasn’t learned anything from me and my obsessive use of Unilocal. Anyway, that is how I ended up waiting around for almost three hours past when they said they’d arrive for«Right on Time» to show up at my house. When the man did arrive he was rude, and frankly, a bit sketchy. To cut a small lock off my gate his in person quote was well over $ 100. The woman on the phone had quoted my husband something around $ 60. But apparently the person who actually shows up at your house has final say, so when I told him I’d rather not pay him an obscene amount of money for a 10 minute job, he insisted that I call the woman in the office(or wherever she is) and talk to her. I told him it was fine, and I’d just call someone else to come out, but he just stood there. In front of my house. Looking sketchy. So I called and was informed that his quote was final, but that he would leave if I paid him the $ 50 service fee for him coming out. wtf?!? So I went in my house, locked my door, and waited until sketchy man got bored and left. Then I called the sweethearts at Friend’s Locksmith and had them come out to do the job in a much less mobsterish way.
