Rose Marie Custom Cakes

This lady is very unprofessional and seem to be off in the head. This so call professional business woman did a baby shower that looked like she got everything from the dollar store. I am not saying there’s anything wrong with the dollar store but she lead us to believe she was ordering everything online. The crazy woman was rude and provided us with old food. Also there was food that was not cooked all the way. The decorations was cheap and not complete. Also we asked her to give us a feel of a royal red carpet event and she put down a folded red sheet as the carpet. This woman never provided a cake and gave us an attitude like we did something to her. This woman must be on dope or something to think that her work is professional.

very unprofessional with a mouth out of this word. A friend of mine ordered some cupcakes from this person and they were late and she was on the phone the whole time arguing with someone. What really made me come to write a review is that in any business, your appearance says everything about you as well as your product. Wearing a name brand does not take the hood out of you. This person should take some business classes and truly learn the real meaning of running a business. Your product was ok and your business sense sucks! I will never use this business. I guess you get what you pay for right (Cheap)

**Warning** Don’t but a Groupon for this place…
I always check Unilocal for reviews before buying the groupon. At the time (last summer) this place didn’t have many reviews and I thought I would give the place a try. I never did get to speak with someone. Groupon kindly gave me credit for my groupon.
Why does Groupon still have a coupon for cakes from this place, I do not know…

DO NOT! This is the most horrible excuse of a business in Sacramento! Just like everyone else, I wish I would have read the reviews before offering ANY business to Rose Marie Custom Cakes. BTW, if you purchased a Groupon, you can call them and tell them of your horrific experience and they will gladly refund you. To say this is a business is stretching it in every sense of the word. There’s no storefront. It’s a house that you bang on the door and get a face full of attitude from or your order handed to you in TIN FOIL PANS. I don’t even want to waste my time going into detail about how everything was screwed up. Bottom line, customer service is non-​existent unless you like piss poor attitude and the cupcakes were RAW in the middle.

My experience was not positive and regretfully I agree with the reviews here. Rose made a different cake than what I asked her to make. The outside of the cake was fine (it had some technical flaws, but whatever) but I had specific instructions for the inside of the cake — 6 colored layers for a rainbow look. When I ordered the cake on the phone, Rose said she could do this. I also sent her an email with pictures of the cake to confirm my order, and she said she can do this. But when I cut into the cake, it was totally different than what I ordered. I am extremely disappointed at the way the cake turned out and have tried to contact Rose, but have heard nothing back. I wish I had checked Unilocal before using this business.

I purchased a $ 15 Groupon for a dozen specialty cupcakes. What a waste of money! The cupcakes were very, very small, uninspired, and tasteless. After eating two, the remainder were thrown away. I knew my purchase was a mistake when I couldn’t locate the address and found that the address was actually a barbershop. Double thumbs down on this purchase.

Ordered a special custom cake for my daughters 30^th birthday and it never arrived at the restaurant. Got some B.S. excuse. They never called me. I had to text them an hour after it was supposed to be there. I had planned on this cake 2 months ahead of time. Very unprofessional. Don’t use this company or you will be Disappointed like I was. My daughter had no cake on her 30^th birthday!
