AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! In December we hired sac deign group for tenant improvements on a commercial property.
After initial review from the county, plans came back with 4 pages of non compliance. Sac design group went dark and stopped all communications with us when asked to complete the changes. They also charged our account for work not completed.
I would yell DANGER/​STAY AWAY TO ANYONE looking to use this company.

Because of SDG we have had to spend thousands and wasted thousands because of their incompetence! They swindled me out of $ 6000.00 that I will never see again. They are horrible people with a horrible company that will take your money and do nothing for you but string you along! They are not even worthy of 1 star but I wanted to post

My experience with this company and its owner Marc B. was horrible. The company advertises under several names San Jose Design Group, SF Design Group etc but it is all the same person and company: Sacramento Design Group. I hired them to adjust my architectural plans according to city/​local requirements. Marc claimed to have dome business in the Peninsula (SF Bay Area) and that he had the knowledge to handle the project. He could not deliver basic requests and requirements from the city. It delayed my project for a couple months at least. This is the worst experience I’ve had with any service professional. He was rude, arrogant and very unprofessional.

Beware – Danger– Do not trust your money or time to this outfit
Marc Byerley is the owner and cannot be trusted. He takes your money upfront for design work and then fails to deliver.
He hides behind mail-​drops so you have trouble finding him. He avoids your phone calls and drags out time so you give up.
I paid for simple plans in June and he won’t deliver. The plans were finally sent to me in November and were incorrect and not Code compliant had to hire another engineering company to make Code compliant plans.
