I was also ripped off by Grady O’Bryant through Sac Day Trippers. Fortunately my credit company refunded it since I kept a electronic paper trail. Beware of this man.

He was required to have a California Seller of Travel Number CST# (his is CST #2 084 147 – 40) in order to do any travel business in California. Please also contact your credit card companies and if you purchased travel insurance, contact that company.

everyone who belonged to Grady O’Bryants «clubs» and have had money for trips stolen by him need to contact the police. He needs to be held accountable for what he has done and this can only be done by filing a police report for the amount he has stolen from you. Anyone who is signed up for Phantom of the Opera please note he is no longer in business so there will be NO trip

Grady O’Bryant takes your money and books your airline tickets, only the tickets are not for you! My tickets to spain were tickets for two other people to Barbados. He swears he will refund the money, but I won’t stop until I have justice from this crook. I hope that he and his scammer buddies rot in jail for this…

Please do not do any business or travel with this business. Grady O’bryant is a fraud I have a serious health issue that I am now taking medication for, My Doctors told me I could not travel os go out of the country for 6 months. When I called Mr. O’bryant he said he would happily refund me for a Spain trip September 8^th for I believe a weeks time frame. To make a long an very stressful time for 2 ½ months.
Grady kept saying he was going to mail me my MONEY it never happened. I had to contact all the authoritys to file complaints. Thank god I charged it so my Credit card co. refunded me not Mr O’bryant HE NEEDS TO BE PUT IN JAIL FOR DEFRAUDING CUSTOMERS.

Grady O’Bryant the man that owns and operates Sacramento Wine and Nightlife Tours also owns and runs SacTrips is a crook. He books trips and then takes off with the money. I traveled with Grady for the past several years on day trips and international trips, but, I guess that the money wasn’t good enough for him because he has now taken a lot of people’s money and no trips. I lost $ 3,000. But from my friends that have also lost money he has taken well over $ 100,000. Do Not get involved with Grady O’Bryant you cannot trust him.

The story goes on and on. We bought two tickets for the New York and Washington DC trip for May 2015. Six days prior to leaving, Grady sent and e-​mail saying he had decided to cancel the trip and refund us in full within 10 days. Did not happen. After several tries we did receive a partial refund. He has missed the last two promised dates, which I have his signed promise. We have not been avle to reach Grady be phone or e-​mail for over two weeks. Maybe he thinks if he ignores this everything will go away. Anybody that pays pays this outfit anything is taking a BIG gamble.

I booked with Grady for a Birthday Wine Tour in Amador Valley. Grady was awesome and very helpful with choosing which wine tour we were going to go on. Our driver was Daniel, and he showed up a few minutes early, and was great the whole time. The wineries were perfect, the drive in the limo was wonderful, and the price couldn’t have been better! I, as well as the 7 others in the group, would 100% book with Grady and Sac Wine and Nightlife Tours again. Thanks!

I’ve used this company several times over the past few years for limo wine tasting days in Lodi and Amador. Grady was helpful in planning our itineraries on the trips when I asked for ideas. I like their simple pricing model that includes everything, even the tip.
All of the drivers were excellent except for one driver on a trip to Amador. The driver got lost a couple times and didn’t have a GPS with him. Even then, we still ended up having a great time, and we weren’t charged for getting back a little late. Every other trip we took, we never had a problem, so I continued to use them even after that trip. I think everyone’s allowed a not-​so-​perfect day once in a while. The drivers always showed up at least 10 minutes early.
I most recently used them for wine tasting just a couple of months ago, and we had the absolute best driver (I think his name was Eric), so I was kind of bummed when I went to book them again for a trip this month and found out they’re only doing large groups (24+) now. So I’m trying another limo company for our small group, and I’ll review that later.
I saw that they had some bad reviews all from the same cancelled event, so I wanted to give my review to show the positives. The service and communication have been good with this company in my experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them on one of their Day Tripper events.

If you look at the other reviews for this company, they are all based on one event which even the owner admits was a complete mishap. Because of that, I feel obligated to provide a review for Grady’s company which will hopefully provide some balance and context.
Along with his Wine and Nightlife tours, Grady O’Bryant also runs bus tours to nearby locations such as wineries, Giants, A’s and Raider games, theater performances and concerts. He even offers bus tours to take whale watching excursions in Santa Cruz which is what I set off to do with his group. The itinerary was to take a luxury coach to Santa Cruz, go out whale watching on a boat and then stop by the Great Mall of Milpitas for some shopping and dinner on the way home.
Unfortunately, the original date of the whale watching had to be postponed because of heavy rain, so the trip was rescheduled for a few weeks later. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I met up with Grady’s group at the Bel Air parking lot at I-​5 and Florin, but after we loaded up the bus and got going, it became clear that this was going to be a fun day. First off, Grady and his crew served coffee and pastries to whoever wanted it on the bus. They went down the aisle and had everyone introduce themselves, which was a great way to meet your fellow travelers and they even had a jazz musician on board who was going to be playing at a winery event they were sponsoring in the near future.
During the trip, Grady and his crew played concert films on the bus video system such as Michael Jackson This is It, The Eagles and Journey which made the drive go by quickly.
Unfortunately, as we got closer to Santa Cruz, we found that the weather had not yet cleared and it started raining once again. Grady got on the PA system and announced that we were not only getting that day’s trip for free, but that we would get another whale watching trip for free later in the summer.
He then found an indoor place for us to go, the Seymour Marine Discovery Center, which is a great little marine life museum and aquarium and we spent a few hours there, before continuing our journey as planned to the Great Mall.
I know that he later did follow through and take everyone on an actual whale watching trip, although unfortunately for me it took place on a weekend when I was out of town and could not go.
Overall, Grady’s trip was one of the best experiences I have had during my time in Sacramento. I also know that he sponsors jazz nights at local clubs on an almost weekly basis and his winery, Alcatraz and SF tours had great reviews from people who I talked to during my attempt to go whale watching.
So while I’m sure it was upsetting for people to have their New Year’s Eve plans cancelled at the last moment, I would be very comfortable and highly recommend signing up for an event sponsored by Grady O’Bryant as part Sacramento Wine and Nightlife Tours.

I’m gonna jump on the bandwagon here, and rate this guy as horrible. You can’t keep my money for over 3 months and think you deserve anything but disgust.

So the story goes… I bought two tickets to his New Years event. $ 79.00 each. The event was cancelled, shut down by the city for not having the proper licenses. No notice… people showed up and were told it was cancelled. (Found out it was just the liquor license… party could have happened anyway, just no wine.) Grady blamed his vendor, but in an email, still said it was his responsibility. It was.
Belive it or not, I am a forgiving person. Grady gave away some bottles of Champagne at the door to upset patrons and promised a refund. Hey, crap happens, and I still proposed to Amazing that night upstairs. :D
We took our bottle over to the Sheraton bar and chilled for New Years. All in all a great night anyway.
On January 2^nd comes the email from Grady. We can take a full refund for our $ 79 tickets, or take tickets to his February event (which he was selling for $ 59.) OK Grady. How bad at math do you think I am? I respond the next day saying I’d like a full refund.
I don’t hear back.
2 weeks later I send another email. «When will I get my refund?»
I don’t hear back.
A month later I call and leave a message.
I don’t hear back.
March 13^th I send an angry email telling him I’m going to sue him if he doesn’t refund my money and I file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
I finally get a refund the next week with this message:

Your refund for $ 158.00 was processed. I apologize for the delay.

Can’t even spell my name right. For god sakes, it’s in my email address.
I encourage everyone to make sure this crook never sees a dime of yours. I don’t care if his events that do go on are fun. Anyone who would keep your money if you don’t threaten court shouldn’t be in business.

This company made sure 2011 didn’t work out as planned canceling an Event I paid for 2-​Months in Advance at The Masonic Temple for New Years Eve. very unprofessional and as if that isn’t the worst part some how the Owner is saying he doesn’t know who I am at the moment? Make sure to save your email confirmations and bank receipts to get what is owed to you! Cindi Taylor!

Very unprofessional in dealing with the cancellation of a giant New Years event. Tickets were 79 to 89 dollars and many people paid and showed when it seemed that the owner was aware of the dilemma at least a day maybe two in advance. I really hope we do not get scammed and I will repost as soon as I receive a refund. Everyone came dressed up and had to find alternate plans which, undoubtedly, wasn’t cheap for anyone!
