Convenience Is Irrelevant When Limited Inventory & Too Expensive SITREP This is my corner market. Yes. I mean, RIGHTON the corner of the block where I live. And yet, I’ve been in this store less than a handful of times since I’ve live here(3 years now). THESETUP The market is way too expensive than even a convenience-like store is justified. «Save Rite» could not be a further misstatement of the truth: * Bags of Chips are $ 4-$ 5 * Soda is almost $ 3 for a 2 Liter Bottle * Box/Canned Food Items(& other basic amenities) are nearly twice as much as you would find at Safeway further on down 19th Street. Your dollar is hard earned, so don’t allow yourselves to fall prey to this predatory pricing. THELOWDOWN There are times that just because a store is conveniently located near where you may work — or live as in my case — doesn’t mean one is a «captive population» that doesn’t have the ability to walk just a couple blocks further down or over to another neighborhood to avail yourself of a better selection of goods AND at far better prices.
