Kaelyn is great! Today was my 2^nd appointment with her and I decided to hold off on the review until my 2^nd session. I did the $ 40 –45 min student special and I got more for what I paid. Her price is reasonable, her customer service is exceptional and she knows what she’s doing ! I’ve always had mid back and shoulder pain. She worked on my back and shoulder for 30 mins and took her time and used the right amount of pressure. I am sore but it’s a good sore! I will be going back because I can truly feel the difference after my sessions with her! Her place is clean and cozy and makes you feel at home. Definitely recommend her!

I am a VERY picky person when it comes to customer service and Kaelyn Crenshaw provides top of the line service! I was impressed. The massage was great and so VERY relaxing. I have recurring migraines due to knots that build up in my shoulder/​neck area and Kaelyn worked them out during my 60 minute session. I scheduled 2 more follow ups. I was going to be a bit selffish and not submit a Unilocal review because I don’t want her availability to disappear BUT alas, that is just being greedy. :-)

Every single time I walk out of serene relaxation I am absolutely rejuvenated and relaxed. Fantastic service! There is always some sort of deal going on as well which is always nice.

Found Ms. Kaelyn on Unilocal and was easily convinced by all of the positive reviews, that she was someone I needed to go to. And I was NOT disappointed! Her space is in an old Victorian home, warm, and inviting. Kaelyn herself has such a calming and easy spirit about herself, and truly wants you to benefit from the service. She likes communication before and during the massage about if you’re comfortable, or need anything adjusted so that you get the most from the experience. She also takes time to sit with you after to receive any feedback, check in with you to see how your body is doing, and to give you «homework «- which is simply to drink water, and maybe to adjust little quirks you do with your body (ie– I need to relax my shoulders more).
Oh, and she gives students discounts!!! I will definitely be back! Maybe even next week! :)

Kaelyn was terrific! Many masseuses do not do deep tissue as deeply as Kaelyn does. I’ve had some major aches and pains and Ms. K got rid of several of them for me. I will be back! Thank you Kaelyn!

I bought a Unilocal deal quite a while ago and thought I left a review. Oops! I am fixing that mistake now. I had a major knot in my back for months before I went in. It was terrible. I was in so much pain. I left there in so much better shape than I started. My knot was gone, my back pain was gone, my neck pain was gone. It was awesome really. I am working on getting a note from my doctor so I can go back and have my insurance cover the costs.

Kaelyn is fantastic, love the attention she gives to my specific needs.

Kaelyn is wonderful! I went in for my first massage today and she is very welcoming. I was wary about coming here because I thought it was a space exclusively for mothers and infants, but she is for everyone. Another reason I was hesitant is because this was my first massage and I wasn’t sure what to expect.
She gives an amazing foot rub and the massage was heavenly. She worked out tenseness that I didn’t even know I had. She also gave me advice in the end from her observations during the massage about how to stay comfortable after I left. It’s very easy to pay since she accepts cards.
Also, there is a sweet pooch who will be excited to see you when you enter. Give him a pet!

Kaelyn was amazing! Not only was she amazing but she was very resourceful! I would recommend her for sure! I hope that my insurance does cover so that I can continue to see her. She is very knowledgeable as well.

Kaelyn did a belly henna design for me. Her space is amazing and calming. I felt relaxed simply walking into the room. She was incredibly patient with my son while she worked on the design. She even included him by drawing a racecar on his hand (per his request :)). Great lady!!!

A «one time» Living Social deal has turned into a year and a half of AMAZING massages by Kaelyn! Just DO IT… you won’t regret it!

Soooooooooooooooooooo nice. Your first visit will include a detailed questionnaire about your general health, aches, pains, etc – the usual.
Your actual massage starts with a lovely foot bath, and Kaelyn works out your tootsies. Next you get onto her table for that awesome magic. She gives a terrific massage, tailored to your requests for pressure, intensity, heat of the room, etc.
I’ve had a lot of bodywork done over the years, and she really is great. She also gives you homework at the end – mine is always to keep rolling my shoulders down and back.
Also, do not be late! She’s a stickler for time.

Loved the massage, and Kaelyn is the sweetest, nicest massage therapist there ever could be.
Initially I was not so sure about the facilities but half way through the foot soak I forgot about the bldg and felt like I was in a hammock on the beach.
I also liked that I could personalize my massage for the exact type and length that I wanted.
Have been doing my ‘homework’ and shoulder pain is not as bad as it’s been.

Kaelyn is absolutely fabulous. I found her through a Living Social deal for 3 massages at a great price. Every massage has been wonderful. My first massage was a general, all over massage that left me feeling great for days. My next massage she focused in almost exclusively on my shoulders and upper back and I was the best kind of sore after leaving, where all the knots I didn’t know I had been carrying were relaxing. Finally, and perhaps the massage that speaks most to Kaelyn’s skill, was my massage earlier this week. My arthritis was giving me trouble around a couple of joints and so I didn’t want her to give them the deep massage she normally provides. She still gave me the massage I love everywhere else but when she got to my problem areas, switched to a «lymphatic massage» style — much lighter strokes working to get the blood moving. My range of motion in my elbow was significantly better after leaving Kaelyn and has continued to be good for me this whole week!
Her space is calm and peaceful. If you’re looking for a spa, this isn’t it — but the waiting area and massage room aren’t lacking, just quietly relaxing. She always has water and hot tea available for before or after your massage. And she starts every massage off with a hot water foot soak/​massage. She also has great hours in the evening and an easy online scheduler for making reservations and canceling, so you never have to play phone tag (which I hate!). In spite of being done with my coupons, I will definitely return!

Bought a massage from groupon or living social so didn’t expect too much out of it, but Kaeyln was fantastic. I was instantly put into a super relaxed daze. I loved the ocean wave sounds in the background and the room/​bed were very comfortable. Kaeyln gave a perfect medium/​deep pressure massage like I asked for and I never had to have her change anything. I was so happy with my experience that I purchased a package for 6 more 90 minute massages with her before I left. I will be back!

They’ve moved, but they are still my go-​to place to get my aches and pains taken care of. I was dealing with a screaming headache from stress that was making itself at home along the left-​side of my body, especially my neck/​shoulder/​upper back region. Kaelyn massaged my muscle into submission and healed me. I can’t wait to go back.

I have been going for more than 6 months after finding her Groupon and have never been dissatisfied. It is always such a treat because Kaelyn is so sweet and makes you feel welcome and immediately relaxed. I get the 90 min massage which is perfect! Kaelyn is very good at reading people, if you like to talk she will talk, but by default she will give you a nice quiet, almost meditative massage. She also will find your tense parts and adjust the massage accordingly to pay more attention there.
Her new facility is in an older Victorian style house up the back steps. It is clean, comfortable and well appointed, water/​tea is also available. Parking is on the street but there always seems to be plenty as it is a very quiet street downtown. Making an appointment is quick and easy on the Serene Relaxation website and there are many packages and so forth available to choose from.
