Tony Suarez has done my hair for 28 years. He is easy to work with and gives excellent advice on what will work well for you. I have thick coarse straight Asian hair which is not easy to work with. Tony had worked on my hair from my tall hair perm days back in my 20’s to now coloring/​highlighting my sleek shoulder length cut in my 50’s. I always receive lots of compliments on my hair because of Tony. I highly recommend Tony to all. He won’t let you down!

I recently had some professional photos done and needed to have my hair styled for them. I decided to see Tony Suarez for a trial run. I was so happy with his work that I came back to have it done the day of my pictures. My hair stayed perfect throughout a six hour photo shoot, and my hair is hard to hold a style. Even the photographer said, «I don’t know who did your hair, but they did an amazing job.» If you are looking for someone to do your hair for a special occasion or even for just a cut and style, I highly recommend Tony… he’s fabulous!!!

Remie has saved my hair. Literally. I went to her with a hair crisis… my hair was breaking off and super damaged and I didn’t know what was wrong with it. I couldn’t figure out why it was breaking and falling out. She trimmed it and we both hoped the damage was gone. A week later, it was breaking and falling out again. I called her in a panic and she saw me THAT DAY. We spent over an hour talking about my former stylists cutting/​dying techniques, and she kept looking at my hair and the breakage patterns. She finally figure out why my hair was breaking (former stylist used dull thinning shears and bent/​broke my hair) and told me, straight up, that it was going to take a long time to grow out but that I could do it if I was patient. She didn’t try to get me to cut all of my hair off (and charge me for an expensive haircut). She tried to help me get the hair that I want. And she has continued doing so ever since.
It’s been years and I’m still going to Remie. I’m also still growing the damage out of my hair (but there’s only a few inches left). Honestly, if it weren’t for Remie, I don’t know what would’ve happened to my hair… but I owe her every single ponytail, sock bun and updo that I wear.

Since switching to her, my hair is easy to manage and gets many compliments. I look forward to my monthly appointment with her for hair care and the fun visits we have. Remie and I go wayyy back. I’m pretty sure she knows my hair better than I do! I can honestly say that Remie has been the only person to cut/​trim/​color my hair since I was 12, lots of trust! She’s great at what she does and I would never go anywhere else.

I found Terrie when she was at another shop in the Midtown area. I immediately loved the perfect haircut and her attention to detail. I was so delighted to find out she was opening her own place with a good friend of hers.
The shop is small but bright, clean and «Oh so friendly.» It’s not uncommon for customers just to drop in when they’re at Gunther’s Ice Cream (just across the street) to say «hi» and see what ‘s happening.
If you’re looking for the best of the best at a fair price for the wonderful, professional service… this is the place. Do call ahead. This is a busy place.
