Took pieces of my antique doctor’s scale to Sherm’s to be be nickel plated a few weeks ago. Just picked them up and the plating is flawless. Everything was wrapped in protective foam and paper.
All the parts were photographed before plating and checked off as they were finished, insuring all the small pieces were accounted for. This was a concern of mine being that the pieces are not replaceable.
It’s a little had to find but well worth the effort. The scale looks like it just came out of Fairbanks showroom. Perfect in every way.

Just picked up chrome work from Sherm’s Custom Plating.
Took my items down there for an estimate, and ended up getting a complete tour of the building. Art runs a stand up business!
Picked up my items when they said they were going to be done and the work is absolutely a flawless!
I know people comment on the cost of some items, but the old adage of «you get what you pay for» certainly applies here.
Do it once, do it right and you’re better off financially in the end.
Great company to deal with, and thanks go to Kelly too for putting up with my bringing in extra pieces!
