I have been dealing with sinus problems for quite a while. My PCP(the BEST ever, Dr. Tsai) finally threw up her hands, after many interventions, including a CT scan. She referred me on to ENT. She made the referral on a Monday morning, I heard from Mercy ENT department that afternoon, and was given an appointment the NEXTDAY with Dr. Siddique. My wait time in the reception area was zero minutes. He quickly came into the exam room, was friendly, and did a thorough background evaluation, followed by an impressive(though slightly uncomfortable) nasal exam. He explained the structural problems with my sinuses, and was patient in showing me the CT results and referencing the charts on his wall. He did not«over talk» the problem, and spke in terms which I could understand. He developed a plan for the future, which involves completing the sinus rinse for two months, then moving on to a biopsy to rule out disease. I was very comfortable with his depth of knowledge and matter-of-fact way of addressing my issues. I am NOT looking forward to the biopsy, but feel confident in Dr. Siddique’s hands. Over and out in Sacramento!!!

If I could give no stars I would. I went here twice last year. My doctor referred me, I’ve had chronic dryness in my nose, headaches, runny nose & trouble breathing for over 5 years. When I went to see Dr. Saddique he recommended nasal rinses and come back in 2 months. When I asked«what about my headaches and runny nose…» what is the cause? It’s chronic sinusitis he tells me. So I do the rinses that hardly did anything 2 months later he tells me there is minor improvement. Do the nasal rinses and come back in 2 months. What!!! I asked about deviated septum, allergies, bacteria. And my terrible headaches. He would cut me off when I was talking & said yea headaches can come from your nose. When I asked why, well there are a lot of reasons. Seriously? This guy is a specialist? What about X-rays or scans or something? He didn’t listen to me at all and would cut me off when I spoke. I never went back & am still suffering from my nasal problems :(
