This place is worth a visit. Its on the alley in a garage. A local business the does both top notch work and offers great customer service. It’s hard to see if you are just driving by but definitely worth stopping by. Leon is the owner and does most the of work himself and he sticks with it until he gets it right. One review says there is a pit bull, I’m not sure if the breed but the dog is sweet and is not running loose. If you want inspiration for your graphic project, just checkout the art that fills the place. If you want corporate, look elsewhere, but if you want creative, artistic, locally owned and a business committed to the community, stop by to see Leon. He did great work for me when other places couldn’t handle the fine detail in my print job. If nothing else, when I was there this week two customers intentionally overpaid, tipping the owner, because he’s that good. How often do you see that?

I recently asked my good friend that is a Sacramento native, if he knew any graphic design artist or silk screen printers locally that produce professional grade work. With out hesitation Jo said «SledgeHammer Graffix» I had never heard of this business personally but since I referred by a mutual friend I figured what the heck, my deadline was 1 week away. As soon I was forwarded his contact I called the number right away and set an appointment for the next day, showed up with scribbles on my note book. I left with my brand new logo on paper and a digital copy on my flash drive!

We use Sledgehammer for all of our screen printing needs at Broderick Roadhouse. It’s not a huge shop, it’s definitely a small operation, and that’s why we support this business. Leon does great work, and is very accommodating to our requests. Sure, you can go to a huge shop anywhere else– but the attention to detail is why we keep returning.

I ordered shirts for a family reunion. We wanted a picture on the back but all the places I called quoted me a very high price. Leon offered me an alternative to the full color pictures. It was a single dark color on a light colored shirt. We chose a dark brown print on a tan shirt. The picture was awesome and looked like the sample picture I broght in. My whole family was pleased with the shirts. I was also pleased with the delivery time.

I am so happy that I found this place! Not only do I love the T-​shirts that were made, I was amazed at how accommodating the owner was! I was on a very tight time crunch and budget, and he was able to make time in his busy schedule in order to get these shirts done. I had even asked different places in the area, and none were able to quote me as low, or have time. Ladies, I highly recommend him for any type of bachelorette gathering, or really anything that would be fun to have matching or unique shirts! I bought a couple shirts after a mutual friend referred me. $ 25 for a shirt, I expect quality. Well, they started falling apart after the 2^nd time through the laundry.
And the designs washed out like a tattoo after it has been on your body for 20 years (old…wrinkly and messed up).
Sorry, but I can’t recommend this place.
It literally is run out of the owner’s garage, definitely not a professional shop.
Also, watch out for the pit bull that’s in the front yard… what a nasty way to greet customers.
