Friendly staff, sports on the TVs, and excellent service. What more could you ask for?

I visited about 10 am ⁹⁄₁₂ to ask some questions about the services offered before I scheduled my first haircut. There seemed to be two employees on duty, both female, one was busy with a customer while the other was chatting with another after completing his visit and payment transaction. One young mom was seated with her young son waiting for his turn.
The one girl at the counter (blonde, tattooed) finished with the customer and looked at me. I said I’d like to find out more about the services. She nodded and then helped an arriving customer sign in for his turn. She then went back to her station and began vacuuming up the hair on the floor while I still stood there waiting. I waited 5 more minutes while she kept vacuuming and cleaning.
Finally I gave up and walked away after being totally ignored. If this is indicative of the way they treat their prospective customers I’m going anywhere else.

Great place for a quick haircut and they always do a good job. Ezie is the best!

The place is nice and service friendly. Ezie cut my hair and did a great job. Going to have to treat myself with the MVP once in a while. Its was very relaxing.

Tried a new salon or my 7 year old. He really enjoyed the experience, and he is a very anxious guy. The stylist was super friendly and did her best to understand and accommodate what he asked for. The shop was clean and has a cool sports vibe. Extra perk? We had a MVP coupon and my boy got the face towel, wash, head massage and vibrating chair as well. He felt like a rock star and walked out with a huge grin on his face! Thanks so Much Sports Clips! We will be back

I have been going to Sports Clips for over two years now first at the Loehmann’s Plaza location and now at 1809 S. Street. I have been impressed by the consistent quality of my haircuts and the MVP is a great deal. Everyone is friendly, they are well organized and it is great to watch sports on one of the many monitors in the store. This location is great for anyone living in downtown, mid-​town or commuting to the south area. The «glue» who holds it all together is Chesa, the manager. I am sure the owner must realize what an asset she is to the business.

Came here the other day and left happy. This place was clean and friendly, I was sat right away and my stylist made great suggestions for hair styling. I got the free mvp upgrade for being a first time client and was well worth it.
The Sport Clips chain really knows how to work with mens hair, I guess thats because it’s all they do. This will be my new regular spot.

Convenient, comfortable. They give good hair! I especially like watching sports or ESPN when I go in.

Great place! Chesa is fantastic and always remembers who you are. I travel from across town since she moved location but is definitely worth the drive!

I read reviews about not being greeted and poor customer service, but went anyway. I had a great experience.
Tracy greeted me at the door and was very friendly. She got my name and phone number into the system and took me right to a chair and the cutting began. I did not have to wait. I was there on a Tuesday in the middle of the afternoon. I am sure that helped.
The most important part is I got a great hair cut. The location is convenient and I can only say positive things about this Sport Clips location. I experienced great customer service and look sharp with my new cut. Thank you, Sports Clips! I suggest you give Tracy a raise.

I went in on ³⁄₁ looking to get a quick cut. I was hopeful given the nice reviews and all. Despite the shameless promotions and advertisements for macho-​style care and attention, the truth was quite the opposite. When I went in I was barely greeted with a «hi» and then promptly ignored. I was not told to sign in or anything similar. I took a seat and waited about five minutes. I left when it became abundantly clear that I was going to be ignored.
I can’t tell you about cut quality, but the service was non existent.

Desperately in need of a haircut while traveling. I have used Sport Clips many times locally near home. Couldn’t be much different while on the road. Heck no! I Unilocaled the nearest location and found them less than a mile away from my hotel. However when I called, they were closing in the next 30 minutes.
I ran down to the parking garage and zipped down the road. I found parking right in front and walked in. Once inside, I was greeted immediately by the stylist who was working with another client. No one else appeared in the store. She asked me to sign in and someone would be right with me.
Another stylist, Lisette, came out from the back and greeted me as well. She made a work ticket and brought me to her work station. She mentioned that as a «new client» to the store, I could get an MVP cut for the price of a regular. Yes, please! The MVP includes the hair cut, shampoo, warm towel and chair massage! Did you have to ask me twice? Nope!
So she cut my hair per request and came out great. She started with less than more, but I needed more since it had been a while since my last cut. She thought she had done something wrong along the way when I asked her to cut it shorter. Better not enough than too much. Can’t go back after that!
Anyway, the highlight of this service is the shampoo and scalp massage while in the massage chair with foot rest up. Spoiled… YUP! it’s worth the extra few dollars for the extras! Lisette has a nice touch too!
Can’t complain that they have multiple TVs on with various sports games going so you can keep up with your favorite teams while getting errands done.
If I’m in the area and need a hair cut, I definitely know where to go!

The place is clean, the stylists are friendly, and the cuts will make your hair shorter. For around $ 20 you get the cut, hair wash /​shampoo, and they even put a nice warm towel on your face. You won’t get the same self confidence boost you get by spending twice as much at a boutique stylist, but your hair will probably look pretty much the same.

I came here on the day of their grand opening. Obviously I am not impressed. The first 40 minutes that I was inside of this establishment, I had no idea whether I was visible or if I was some ghost from the underworld that just randomly decided to hang out in a men’s hair salon for the day. Here is how my experience went…
I arrived at the business and was very excited to get a $ 10 haircut at this new place which is conveniently located. I walked in, looked around, stood there until I made eye contact with at least two of the five people working at the time, then awkwardly sat down since nobody had acknowledged my existence. The employees continued to look in my direction, but nobody spoke to me for over 35ish minutes. Yes… I kept track. What else was I supposed to do for 35 minutes?!
After waiting the for those 35 minutes, another customer walks in the door and was greeted immensely by the entire staff and his information was taken down and only after his information was completely documented, was I acknowledged. Of course at that point I was lower on the list than the person that just walked in and the lady at the desk had the nerve to ask if I wanted to get a haircut. Very strange.
After waiting for a longer period of time especially since I had to wait for another person to get their haircut before I did, the stylist that ended up cutting my hair was very friendly. She did a good job cutting my hair and I will be returning to give this company a second chance. The stylist was worth the wait I suppose, it also helps that they gave me discount coupons and a free haircut since I gave them my email address.
