Awesome simple hot food gasm burritos! Vibe /Layout I don’t know how many times i have drove right by it and say are they legit?! I mean haven’t you done something similar to what i did, always try to find time or just curious and want to try it but end up not doing it. i don’t know what made me go here, but i was hungry and was in the area and at the stop light right next to it. i was like this is the perfect chance to go or else, when will i go again… hmmm… I was starving and wanted something quick and yes they were FAST! Layout is a taco truck, but not only do they sell tacos, but burritos, tortas, taco salad, and etc! i bet you will be indecisive of what to choose, because i was. Price incredibly affordable! under $ 10 for sure per person! in fact my Asada super burrito came out to only $ 5! Food Asada burrito Oh B O Y, on the first bite did i feel like i went to foodie heaven! the beef was so tendered and marinated well and just saucy good! Next the melted cheese makes sweet love to your lips and sticks to it without trying to let go! baby love me one more time! ok next you can taste the beans, i am not a fan of beans but with the melted cheese, it went well together! Also the rice and sour cream, let me just say ! very simple burrito with simple ingredients, makes it more authentic than these modern day burritos filled with too much goodness ingredients. Trust me you can go wrong with a burrito from here. very generous with the amount of meat, and size of the burrito, and very tasty too! I took it home and devoured it! the drive was about 5 mins and yes it was still steaming hot wrapped in the foil! Awesome pico de gallo pickled carrots and onion! beware those pickled carrots and onions were super duper hot! because there is habenero! B O Y did i got burnt! just beware but sooo good! love it SPICY! Overall I will be back for some tacos! this dude in front me ordered 3 and it was only a $ 1 each is what i heard, and yes i will be back for sure! hands down to some burrito in the hood! just a note, good food is mostly served in the hood :) Thanks for reading and have a great day! smiles!

Bomb tacos and burritos. I don’t know there hours but I usually go around 7:30 am and they are there. Depending on your order it can take some time but well worth it. I like asking for grill jalapeños with my tacos but be warn they are spicy.

This is the second best taco truck I’ve been to in sac for tacos as far as flavor. But definitely tops the list for neatness, to go plates and non-greasy food. Small tacos but good!

If you’re looking for the best taco truck in Sacto, you will find Tacos Apatzingan #2 parked in front of strikingly janky M C Discount Liquor most days during lunch hours. As long as adobada’s in-stock, it always ranges from muy bueno to muy excelente. But on Fridays, the adobada is spiked with roasted jalapenos, and it’s especially succulent! I’ve been to all of the other trucks… both of ‘em on Northgate, Tres Hermanos on El Camino, El Sinalorense on Fruitridge, the one by the New Asia Supermarket on 47th Ave near Stockton Blvd, the one behind the Shell station on Stockton at 65th Expwy, and the new one on Stockton Blvd south of Mack Road… Tacos Apatzingan #2 is definitely the best, except for when they’ve run out of my favorite meat choice or my preferred backup choice, lengua. Hey… it happens sometimes. I typically take off for lunch around 2pm. Illyana’s 3-star review should be thrown out because she only tried the carne asada. Their carne asada is about as good as any mediocre taqueria’s carne asada … not so tender, nor well-seasoned. It’s the kinda food that only stoners would rave about if they were totally outta their gourd. The adobada is where it’s at, though. Tender inside, lightly charred outside, and roasted in a savory sauce. Apatzingan is spelled correctly on the driver side of the truck, but on the business-side, it’s misspelled two different ways. But don’t fret, gavachos… English is spoken fluently here. Despite being almost six miles south of my Midtown office, it’s always a quick trip to and from Tacos Apatzingan #2. It’s only a minute from the 47th Ave exit. Affable and assiduous, the sweet ladies on-duty churn out the tacos, burritos, and tortas briskly, but never at the expense of quality, and they never fail to get the right orders to the right customers no matter how many people are thronging around the truck. Prices are good…$ 1.25 for tacos, burritos under $ 5. I’ve never had their tortas, so I won’t vouch for those. Only the most quantity-over-quality burrito size-queens will find fault with their burrito’s length and girth. Tacos are sand-dollar-sized, but heaped with enough meat that the tortillas typically can’t be folded without some chunks trickling out. To-go orders travel neatly, however, thanks to a tight layer of plastic wrap. Burritos also get wrapped in a paper plate around the foil, plus plastic wrap. If you’re waste-conscious and don’t need the extra anti-mess safeguarding, just let ‘em know. Park anywhere in front of the M C Discount Liquor store. There’s about six spaces in front, plus four on the left side, and a couple more behind the car vacuuming service that sets up between M C and the 76 gas station mini-mart. Don’t park right next to the truck.

Really AMAZING food! The beans are really good as is there salsa. Everything is fresh and the staff is wonderful. I wish I worked closer to this place, because I would eat here more often.

A long line is always a good sign when it comes to food. It could turn out to be the best thing you’ve ever eaten, or most of the people are just lazy and dumb. In which case, at least you learned something, right? There was a long line of people standing outside this truck when I passed it, two consecutive days. They’re out of carnitas. Damnit to hell and back! Fine, carne asada it is. 8 minutes later, four $ 1.25 tacos stood on our plate. The salsa not looking very inviting, but the bottom of the barrel micro sized nibbles of steak looked delicious to me. However, the friend thought the maillard effect had worn down the meat to the point of crunchy cow pellets. They were steaming hot, the chile was picante, but didn’t sing and looked gloopy. My radishes looked practically mauve and needed about a bottle’s worth of Curel to reduce the ashy status. As we stood outside the car, in between the liquor store and gas station/liquor store, the truck took off within minutes of handing us our tacos. Would our food have been different had it not been the end of their day? I doubt it. It was hilarious and Vaudevillian-esque the way they just drove off the parking lot without sign or warning. Friend and I heard a «ca-clunk,» looked up and saw the ass-back of the truck veering right onto the main road.
