This place has been working hard to make their food better and it shows! Delicious, fresh and flavorful. Cash/debit cards only accepted. Place almost always has a line between 15 – 25 mins long. Definitely worth going and you get free chips too!

Amazing peach margaritas! I recommend the green salsa at the chip bar area as well as the tacos de carnitas!

This is one of the best taquerias in California. Their menu runs deep, and everything I have had there is great. Their breakfast burritos are legit(5.50 $). The al pastor crispy taco is a meal in itself. The ceviche tostada is really refreshing. Their salsa is always on point. You will have your food on the table before you are done visiting their salsa bar. If you are feeling adventurous try the molcajete. I have been going their for 6 years and I hardly ever branch out because every time I go, its better than the last time. Their torta is the best Mexican hamburger this side of the Mississippi.

Ok so this place is across the street from a chipotle and I honestly don’t know why you would go there when you got this amazing taqueria. Their wet burritos are fire especially the carnitas highly recommend. It had very quick service even though they were fairly busy. Also there is free chips and salsa. Stop going to goddamn chipotle!

This is a great restaurant with truly authentic Mexican food. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the Sacramento area. Also with their hours it serves as a convenient place to grab a some food in-between studying for finals. So far I’ve had their burritos, tacos, and quesadillas all of which are worth returning. I would say the quesadillas are a little on the small side compared the the quesadillas I’m used to getting at taco trucks and other taquerias but nonetheless it is a great place!

Ho. Ly. Crap. So, let me start out by saying that I’m from San Diego, about fifteen miles from the border where almost any place you go to has an amazing burrito(praise be to California burritos which should be called San Diego burritos). Anyway, point is my burrito standards are high. I went to this place having been to the many others around here and not being impressed(lookin’ at you, Chando’s). I expected the same thing of this place because it just looked pretty standard. When you go in, it is very clean looking. They have their menus on TV’s which probably says something about their income. I got the carnitas super burrito. My girlfriend got the vegetarian burrito. I have to say that the one I got was literally the best burrito I’ve eaten since I’ve been north of San Luis Obispo, beating out even the legendary burrito joints in San Jose(La Victoria and Iguana’s). The pork was effing delicious, and they have this green sauce which I’m pretty sure is avocado based that they give to you for free with chips when you order(again, they probably do well enough to afford that sort of thing). Girlfriend said hers was average, by yeah. Vegetarian burrito. The pork made it for me. I’ve been searching for a long time for a burrito in nor cal that doesn’t need a crap ton of sauce to be really really good and the Carnitas super burrito from Taqueria Garibaldi is that burrito for me. Will be coming here again. Will bankrupt myself on these burritos. Will get fat. Die of burrito-induced heart attack. So good.

This is my girlfriend and my go to restaurant when we’re craving Mexican food. We’ve tried all their seafood items and they are pretty delicious. What I like the most is the unlimited tortilla chips and their salsa bar. Most places you have to pay for chips separately. Their super quesadillas and burritos are always huge and filling. We never leave here hungry because of the portion sizes. Their a la diabla and mojarra is pretty good, but not as good as the ones I’ve had down in LA. But, I guess you can’t compare Mexican food in Sacramento to that in LA. They didn’t take credit the last few times we were there so be prepared to bring your debit card or cash.

LOVE this place. I’ve ordered several things including tortas, tacos, and carne asada fries and I have yet to be dissapointed. They are also open late on Saturdays in case you’re having a late night craving.

My husband is a quarter Hispanic and from my experiences with Mexican food, I can always tell how good a restaurant is, is if there Spanish rice is on point! And this place has THEBEST Spanish rice by far. Texture, color, flavor! Soooo, with that being said I can count on anything being great & which it was. The meat was nice, juicy and flavorful. The guacamole was fresh! It has nice clean seating outside, great view!(Mercedes Benz dealer across the street of the restaurant) Lol, which me and my boo appreciate because we love German engineering.

Haven’t had authentic Mexican food in 6 months. This place is divine. If I’d had to choose between the carnitas super burrito and my S/O … burrito all day.

This is my new go-to for Mexican food. My students and I usually hit up this place after a hard day of training. They are open later than most other restaurants. I frequent this place at least once a week. Crispy fish tacos are super yummy. I like their chips and salsa bar too. The staff is friendly. They serve drinks as well.

I Usually get the wet burrito– not a huge fan of the red sauce… little light in the pants but the burrito was overall pretty legit. standard carne asada. Overall …Solid taqueria. one thing that really stands out is some of the salsa choices… they have a lot of the standard ones… but man this spicy cream sauce(it’s the white one) super awesome. Make it happen

Had a craving for nachos hit me on a late Friday night and many places around town were closing at 11pm. Luckily for me, I found out that Taqueria Garibaldi closed at 3am. SCORE! Located near Arden Fair Mall and on the same street as McDonald’s. Ordered the nachos with meat(asada) to go and the order came out fairly quickly. Even though the nachos weren’t super fresh by the time I got home, the melted cheese and crisp chips were absolutely divine. Bonus: Free chips and salsa bar. YAY!

I came here on a Friday night around 5:30pm. My mom and her boyfriend dine here when they’re in the area, so I was curious to see what it’s all about. They’re in the same lot as Cost Plus, so there’s plenty of parking. When we arrived, there were already a lot of people eating. They were mostly Hispanic, so I figured that was a good sign. I ordered the carne asada plate and my boyfriend had the carnitas plate. After you pay(CASHORDEBITCARDONLY) they give you a number and someone brings your food to you. This gives you time to hit the salsa bar! Serve yourself fresh chips and salsa. I liked the bright red salsa and my boyfriend liked the green one. They also had a white one, not sure exactly what it was(sour cream? yogurt?), but it was decent. Our food arrived quickly and was hot. Be careful when you take your tortillas out of the foil. The plates come with meat, four tortillas, rice, beans, tomato, lettuce, guacamole, and sour cream. The guacamole and sour cream were a little watery, but it was fine once it was all rolled up in a tortilla. The food definitely wasn’t as flavorful as our favorite Tres Hermanas, but for the price you can’t complain that much. The restaurant is clean and workers are friendly. I would return to try their tacos.

This place is the ! Burritos are probably one of my favorite things to eat, and I’ve eaten thousands in my life. After I moved here recently, I had to find new«go to» spots for all of my cravings. I found this place on Unilocal, and decided to give it a try; and I absolutely loved it. I have been back several times, and their food is always consistently good. I get a super steak burrito every time, and nothing has ever been wrong with them. They also have some of the best horchata I’ve tasted; they have perfected their recipe, it’s not too sweet. The one thing that I don’t like(but I won’t hold it against them) is their quesadillas. They do them a lot different than other places I go to, but maybe it’s a more traditional way? They use two small tortillas and put everything inside them. Usually when I get a steak quesadilla, it is two big tortillas, and just cheese/steak inside with sour cream, guac, and pico de gallo on the side for dipping. I kind of wish they did it this way because I’m sure they would be amazing. Other than that, this place is great and I have a good experience every time I go there.

I just love this place. I went here a couple weeks ago and it was my second time. This place is a must try the food is so delicious! I ordered the enchiladas plate I loved everything. The downside is that the customer service is horrible! This place has an area where you can get chips and salsa and just bring it to your table while you’re waiting for your food. They also have a small bar but no happy hour. I can’t wait to go back here. The service isn’t horrible to a point I don’t want to come back. It just they have no smile and just I don’t know seems like they don’t want to work there. I know if I owned my own place I wouldn’t be having that. Let’s say a must try! Hopefully when I go back there will be better service.
