I called regarding a sexual assault case because their website states that they represent victims of sexual assault or battery. Upon calling the Sacramento office I was connected to a lawyer who sounded as if I was wasting her time. SHe was very short with me and surprised I had questions as to what to do about legal representation. THe police department had talked me through what type of attorney to obtain and what types of questions to ask. I didn’t even get a sentence into my story and she interrupted me saying, «No we would never take on that type of case». Well then why does that say that on your website that you represent sexual assault for victims??? She never asked how I was, and questioned as to why I was not on the phone with the police. I replied I already had been, and they are doing their portion, but advised me to contact legal counsel, so that I may chose they best route possible as far as how to file charges, since there are multiple ways. The lady was very rude and wouldn’t direct me in the right path of what type of attorney I would need and said she couldn’t help me with any reference and we hung up. Very unprofessional and I would never advise someone to come here after that first impression.
