Worst UPS Store I’ve ever been to. The staff is so unbelievably depressing. They don’t even have to tell me they hate their jobs, its that obvious. I asked for help with one print out of many I was doing then get charged for «assisted printing» on everything. I printed 21 pages & paid almost 7 dollars??? Yah right, I even worked for a UPS Store so I was loyal to them but now I’m going to print at FedEx. I suggest you all do the same.

The staff here is SO friendly and helpful. I ship items here weekly and the customer service is truly amazing. The twins who usually work go above and beyond expectations!

I will never go to this store again. They are supposed to open at 8:30 and the guy doesn’t show up until 8:35 and slowly saunters into the store. I put a sign on the door that they lost a customer because they weren’t open. The guy never took his ear buds out, was a bit rude, never turned the lights on, and was completely unprofessional. There was another guy waiting in his car for the guy to turn the lights on in the store to indicate they were open. I will go out of my way to go to another store.

Just called and have never been so frustrated and rushed off the phone… I Called to verify notary services and pricing and was told after asking hi, I was calling to see if you offered notary services…“yes we have notary okay bye”… Oh I’m sorry I also wanted to know the pricing. ‘Ma’am we have a line“ummmm okay?! So does that mean you dont handle business over the phone? Why did you answer it if thats the case?! Isn’t a line good you’re a business! Does that mean I will have a long wait time if I come? To which I replied: okay, sir I still need to know the price; is that something that is available over the phone? «Ma’am we’re here 8:30 –6 notary $ 10 issued from the state». WOW! CONFLICTED If I want to use this place after that type of service over the phone…

The prices to ship items are significantly higher than the post office. To ship a text book, it was like 14 dollars, but at usps, it’s only about 4 dollars using media mail. To mail a bulky letter ur was 1.20, while at usps it’s only 70 cents. The guy helpubg was a young sarcastic pot head.

They have a notary here everyday! As I needed one at the last minute, I was happy when my neighbor recommended coming here. It was only $ 10 for the signature and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Parking is lot-​style and very, very tight. There are several businesses in this center and the spots are very narrow – not the store’s fault of course, just a fact of life.
If you need a notary and quick service, I wouldn’t hesitate to reccomend coming here!

I am so disappointed by the service here. I went in two days ago (¹²⁄₁₈) in the morning to ship a Wii Console. The guy working was incredibly rude. After waiting in line for awhile, he decided to help the man behind me since he apparently knew him. It’s a Wednesday morning… no consideration that people may actually need to get to work.
When he finally decided he felt like helping me, he asked me if I wanted to get my item delivered by Christmas, with an attitude as if I was an idiot for coming in 6 days before I wanted it to arrive. He quoted me $ 29 for delivery by 12/​27, and $ 99 to get it there by ¹²⁄₂₄. $ 99??? For a small box that weighed 6.5lbs? He also added a sweet little notion that it would actually cost me closer to $ 120 since they were providing the box and shipping materials. I wouldn’t even pay $ 99 for overnight delivery! I told him there was no way I would ship it for that much, since a used Wii isn’t even worth that much. He GUARANTEED me that if I went anywhere else, it would be that expensive or it would not be there by Christmas since I was so last minute. I’m not an idiot, so I just bought the size box I needed and left.
I measured and weighed my item when I got home, and printed out a label with USPS. $ 26 to get it there in a couple days. I took it to the post office and went on my merry way. Today is 12/​20, and the item has already been delivered, one day EARLIER than expected. FOUR days before ¹²⁄₂₄.
Shame on you for giving me your GUARANTEE that going elsewhere, especially the post office, would not be cheaper and definitely not faster. It isn’t even Christmas and my item had been delivered to Ohio.
I hate to think of the people you take advantage of everyday, when they could be getting away so much cheaper elsewhere.

I am extremely disappointed in this location. I was recommended by my framer to use this location to ship a framed print under glass. I was shipping to Texas and needed it packed and shipped to insure that it would arrive undamaged and on time. The total came out to $ 200! $ 154 for 3 day shipping?! Plus packing cost! Are you freaking kidding me?! I was shipping for work and it really was too late to go someplace anywhere else so I had to give in and pay that! She gave me a 20% discount, but I’m still very upset that it cost that much! There’s no way I can charge my client that in shipping!
The next day I checked on the UPS store online and 3 day shipping with the same package would have only cost $ 45! I called back and asked why the huge price difference and she says, «Our store is a franchise, so our pricing is different than the website and corporate…“and then she was trying to say that the pricing on the website is for frequent shippers (Um no, the website I was on was just for general shipping costs!) so basically because they are independent they charged me whatever they wanted! Before I got a quote from Fed Ex which was like $ 50 with packing, shipping and delivering on a set date I pick! But I used this location because of the recommendation — least I say I will never use or recommend this location EVER!

I’ve gotten to the point where every time I have to ship anything, I resign myself to long lines, employees with no sense of urgency, overpriced supplies, and bad opening hours.
But this place for the most part was okay. Will probably have to be using UPS quite a bit, so hopefully it stays okay

I’m not entirely a happy camper about this place, but my experience with them is limited.
On Sunday, I placed an order with the UPS store online printing service, where this store location is listed as a participant and has a «print online» link on the service. So, seeing as it was the location closest to my house, I selected this one. The order was then promised online to be available for pickup at 2PM Monday, which wasn’t a possibility because it was closed for Memorial Day. Wednesday afternoon, I called to check on the status of the order and a female employee answered the phone. She snapped at me over the phone and said, «No. We don’t do that here. Maybe you should have called us first.»
Okay. Fair game. Could have said it more politely, but I wasn’t going to hold it against her at that time. I tried to ask if there was another number I could call to have the order canceled or rerouted, and she just hung up on me.
So, if I ever need to use a UPS store for other services, I will definitely not be using this location!

Not only is The UPS Store a great spot for shipping, but I also do my banking here being a USAA member. Either way, I usually encounter friendly employees and a short wait.
Because my bank is basically online, the only physical requirement of me is to occasionally make deposits. I make most of these on my phone, but even then there have been times where I’ve had a ton of checks to deposit at once or some other catastrophe related to the fact that technology is supposed to make our lives easier and actually doesn’t. The UPS Store has a quick and easy process for doing this and acts as my back for me when I need it.
The current downside to this location is that it’s located directly behind a construction zone in a parking lot that already sucked to begin with. Finding your way to the store might be a bitch.

Friendly employees, but an inconvenient location. At least it gives me an excuse to drop by Trader Joe’s.

I have had to come in here a couple of times to return my school books that I rented from
as well as a couple times to ship off birthday gifts to my dear friend who lives much too far from me. The same girl always jumps right up to help me when I enter the store, forgive me for not remembering her name. She is always friendly and helps me do whatever it is I need to get done quickly and efficiently. So far everything I have shipped has been pretty cheap, although I dont get a tracking number which saves me $ 10 alone.
I recommend.

I’ve used this location for two purposes: shipping and banking. Since we use USAA, which has no buildings, we do our deposits and such here!
The staff have always been helpful and friendly, the prices are decent, and the wait times are usually short if any. I also like that you can always find a close parking spot, and get in and out quickly!

I needed to ship something out and was in the neighborhood… I didn’t have the correct size box I needed on hand so I decided to try the ‘olé all-​in-​one «Can you find a box for me and help me pack this» dance.
It was a coat… easy to pack. square box. Weighed it. $ 5 for a box + $ 14 for ground shipping. Last time I ever use this carrier again. Through a different shipper I can usually toss boxes in the mail for $ 6 or less if I already have the package boxed and ready to go.
The girl that helped me was nice enough but was confused about a comment that popped up on the address when she entered it into into her computer. It said «rear» which I assumed you know. «leave the package at the back door»… She said «I don’t know. is that okay that it’s on there? It’s what is showing in my computer. «How am I supposed to know if something in your computer is correct when I just gave you the address verbatim that I want the box sent to?
Kind of a cold and dark space but aren’t most postal type places?

For most of my shipping needs, UPS is the best service for the price.
SITREP
Looking to send out what few parcels I had designated to family members for the holidays. This UPS Store retail outlet is the one most conveniently located near my neighborhood just down Folsom Blvd.
SETUP
Fast, friendly service and it seemed that the costs associated with shipping my parcels out via UPS were no more than they would have been at the Post Office just a half mile away.
I can see if I have a confidential package, insured costs, legal documents with mandated receiver-​requirements, and other legal-​required return-​receipt scenarios, then I may want to go to the extra-​trouble to bump up the cost for the extra security and legal requirements by sending this out via USPS.
However, for generic shipping situations where only insuring for the value of generic item is involved (for example, if they lose a bluetooth earpiece that can be replaced), then I am completely happy to use UPS at less shipping costs.
THE LOWDOWN
Because of reasonable costs, close proximity to home, and friendly service, I will definitely come back to this location again if I have packages to send out.
